Some add-ons for ArtixBot's tips. Make wariors and spearmen balanced in stats, and mages most points in attack, and some in push. :)

I really enjoyed it, and the ending makes it seem so cheery :P Also without those tips my spearmen would've sucked horribly

Very fun! - I'd love to see this make Full Release on PC from Steam or something. (With visual improvements and other goods) - This is very unique in terms of Gameplay and the story (well it's basic but love it!) - 8BIT games like this make me feel Nostalgia :D

really nice game music is nice battles system is superb and upgrading and the change of style of the units are brilliant. and as clayton123456 a campaign would it make it better (with it 6/5) i give you 5/5 nice work men

4/5, awesome but a little short (okay, it is short). Spearmen are enough for final battle (with push and defense), keep spamming them with bombs, use their ability to charge through the map.

Game tip : Spearmen is best to kill the boss. Just pump all to push, if push isn't available pump def. (My spearmen stats are Def:4|Att:1|Push:7). At the start of the boss round, just spam spearmen and each time the enemy spawn, use your skill. This will push the enemy back to their spawn line and killing them while allowing your units to pass. Like if this works for you too.

Fantastic game. But the Push stat may need some balancing. Get it high enough and you can stack all the warriors or spearmen up in one spot, use their ability, and then launch everything in their path to their splattery doom with the group then rushing forward to the opposite side and winning the match.

Good idea for a game, but still. Needs better balance between the classes, the mages are clearly stronger than any other one.
The spearmen kinda lack utility, the bombs are way too overpowered compared to the strength of the infantry, and the level design is redundundundundundundundundant. A bit like the music.
There is clearly a way the game has to be played and this is not entertaining.
Hope the comment helped.

The 'round' seems to finish when you destroy a gate, causing no enemies to spawn. This is pretty pointless as it means that you can stack all three units on one row with minimal penalty.

Awesome game with true potential. You could improve it with a skill tree, maybe more units and more skills. I also would love to be able to use different type of units in a single battle to combine their abilities. Also a longer and more challenging campaign with bosses (like a gigantic enemy), etc... I hope you'll make us a sequel. :D 5/5

Great game. Some hints to make the game easier:
- Shop: Buy mana regen first, then buy the bombs and use them when your guys are close to the enemies
- Swordmen/Spearmen: Spawn them at the very top in the battle, kill the first wave of enemies with bombs so they can all reach the end with their skills, then spawn them again at the top and spam their skills
- Mages: Spawn them everywhere and use bombs to make sure they reach the end
- Skilling: Sword/Spear: Skill push whenever you can, Mages: Skill Attack

If the developers can’t even figure out how to make separate controls for music and sound effects, they deserve to have their games rated 1/5..

Awesome game, I had lots of fun with it. Like heycoolguy suggested, a hardmode would be nice to increase replay value. And maybe a survival mode, sort of like an 'all you can kill' mode where the enemies keep coming.

good game needs an encyclopedia of enemies i never know what to put where so i quit playing a few improvements and definatly a 5 star game

A few things I've found: Attack is only usefull on mages since they win by clearing rather then pushing, as such, push is pretty useless on them. When spawning, you'll want to concentrate your spearmen and mages, but keep your warriors spread out.

dragging the armyies to there places took me half an hour.. it keeps dropping things, even though i havent unclicked the mouse. if i cant get my troops in place, how am i supposed to play?

How about a hard mode, where if you lose, the enemy can level up? Also enemies would be buffed to meet your satisfaction.

I struggled a bit until I remembered to click on units for their ability. After that, every round was laying a thin token line top to bottom, them spamming all my mana on the top "row". Right before my guys connect, I drop all my bombs, then dash my top spammed soldiers to the finish. Every round lasted less than 10 seconds from then on, including the final battle.

I found the spear guys could destroy most matches easily just as long as you stacked all of them in one area and ignored incoming troops from other areas. then just drive that one force hard. I won every match with them once I started doing that.

Once you lose with a single unit, that unit won't promote, and so it's going to lose every single battle from then on.

Whoever said to buy all the bombs first made a huge mistake I think. Most of the bombs don't make that much difference as far as I'm concerned. The main thing is getting the mana generation and unit cap upgrades early so you can make more units quickly. The blue, red, and yellow bombs do not make all that much difference and will just prove a waste of resources early on, whereas boosting army size and mana generation will really help you out. I'm surprised so many people are voting up that comment, that's the worst strategy to use I think.

One more piece of advice. Keep an eye on the unit cap at the top and slow down with the clicking as you get close to the unit maximum, or the game may lag and prevent you from using your bombs. Once you have the maximum units, start focusing on clicking your units to use their abilities so they can advance.

Very good game. Some advice: 1) With mages you need to click on them after they leave the spawn area to use their blast attacks or they’re largely useless. A good strategy is to spam some then attack, then spam more, and have the back row ones clear the enemies for those advancing. 2) For push attackers with spears, make the maximum up to the unit limit (orig. 50), then when they get close enough click them to use their spear attack so they charge to the end. 3) The sword attackers with some push can be very effective, they don't die easily and can push back enemies, just make as many as possible then use their abilities in the middle and advance. 4) I recommend buying mana generation, max mana, and an increase in unit cap early. More soldiers and faster mana generation will make your life much easier. If you decide to get a bomb early, get Bertha, nothing else is particularly worth it. 5) Use bombs to kill the purple long-ranged enemies and red suicide bombers before they can attack.

I don't know what's going on here, but the first few rounds were a walk in the park. After that however, every round just overwhelmed me. Not fun :/

this game is pretty fun to play. I only died once before purchasing upgrades. the format for deployment and then mini battles is cool and new to me.
suggestions: could have enemy troops spawning at closer intervals allow successful armies to battle on the same track again. And have it so that you have to reach the towers three times to defeat them. More upgrades and more levels. I can envision this game as being the first third of a truly epic gruelling battle.
maybe in later stages we could have battles with more than one troop type and then all three for the final boss - this would need three ranks for spawning and then longer tracks.
Smaller more specific spawning-circle-thing would be nice.
possible upgrade = spawn 4 and 5 troops at a time (for same manna cost??)
