Generally an easy game. On Freeplay, Levels 3-5 and 10-15 are a bit hard, but if you prep right, you sail through. The towers, while a bit unbalanced, become required to use them all to get anywhere in freeplay, but I found you didn't really need earth, lightning, or fire in story mode.
The best strat I've managed with freeplay is Fire+Ice, Ice+Earthx2+Lightning, and down the line Shadowx3. I started with the middle set of I+L, Then the F+I in front, went back and filled in the shadows, then added the earth. Earth has a great range, but the damage compared to Ice is rather low.

Really great tower casting system. And I like the soul pickup since it keeps you engaged while towers do your work. But the balance between towers is off (Ice are way totally the best with splash, slow, and high damage. And I don't think the Earth guy does anything.) And the bosses at the end of each wave don't do anything special. They get to the end and I don't care. Oh, and the mouse detection for upgrading towers is way off.

4/5, but only because its not my cup of tea, I suck with hand/eye co-ordination...but love the twist..this is no cookie cutter TD, this stands out, great work, even if I wont play it anymore

meh. didnt care much for it, and when i clicked on it, other spells came up. i click on earth tower and it says i dont have enough (and i did) i clicked it again and it gave me bomb spell... i drag out other towers and it tries to upgrade.

i played this when it was on armor games a while ago. its an ok game. seems like it needs some work still because it just looks like an unfinished game. but its an ok start on an idea

hey this is quite a good game but this is not the first one where you have to draw the symbols so its not that original but overall good game!

choppy and hard to place towers where you want them. Plus, if you have a tower under where the "upgrade" rune gets drawn on the screen, you can't get to it to upgrade it.

Liking this so far :D going to play more tomorrow, see if I get sick of it. Could use more towers, since atm it looks like as soon as I get 2-3 Earth guardians that can cover the same area and upgrade them to max, it should be smooth sailing afterwards.

soo i feel like a prick for triple posting lol buuuut...apparently i failed at first...there is a popup showing all that i asked for ;P but the circle showing range would be nice since im not sure what form of measurement you used for range...im assuming pixels?

also having a little popup that appears when you mouse over a guardian that have a circle appear that shows their range when you mouseover would also be helpful...ohh and have the same popup show when you go to update

not too bad of a game but i think that it needs some balancing...the most pwerful tower should not be an AoE.... as it stands from what i have seen earth+slow=insta win

You need to draw the rune symbols displayed at the bottom of the screen to summon the towers for placement.

You may have missed it but you get more cash (souls) by mousing over (collecting) the souls when they pop out of the enemies that you kill.

Why do I not gain more things to build stuff? seems kinda dumb to expect players to win with just starting cash but only giving enough for 2-3 towers.

Seems like it could be okay but the interface is terrible. You can't click on the tower types but have to drag the cursor over icon? Since the enemies enter *immediately* I found it very frustrating to try to select and place a tower before the first wave was halfway to the base. Meh.

the notice in the middle won't go away and I can't do anything. looks like it would be good if not so glitchy, 2/5 for now

Wow!! This really is a sensational game, a well deserved 10 out of 5! Love the art, the gameplay etc.. I see a bright future ahead of you guys =D
