if you get the issue where cards dont pkay at the start, wait a few minutes with the game active, and then pass your turn twice. i have yet to find if it breaks again, but its woorking now for me. ill comment again if something breaks it again.

Well, Ruffle still doesn't work with this, but it is better than previously where it wouldn't even load. I miss this game.

Everytime I play "Sketching", the game won't let me play another card to copy, or let me continue the game in general...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
when I pay the sketch or activate the special options on the side, the game breaks and I can't do anything. Sketch makes it so no more cards will activate, I can click or hit their number and nothing will happen. For the select 3 special option no matter which card I pick it stays on the selection page.
The same thing as what FrostPaladin mentioned in his comment.

Love this game, but it has a couple showstopper bugs in the conversion. When I gain a random choice of 3 cards, sometimes input stops working, I can click the card multiple times and the animation for gaining plays, but the selection screen still stays.
Also, when I do sketch to duplicate a card, I find I can no longer play cards (both with mouse or numbers) selecting a card makes the sound happen and the combo increments (up to a point), but the card can not actually be played. Happens both on chrome and firefox.

Hello everyone! I just want to say that this game is about to get a remake version, using Unity!

Good game, I played it after playing The town with only you and me. Both are great games, hope to see more of these characters.

Although I am not into the whole combat/card system and Don't think highly of such games, I love Aisleen as a character and I gave it 4 stars.

This game is truly a rare gem. It was actually this game that inspired me to take up art, when I was 10 or so. I love this game with all my heart and have come back to it so many times. It's an inspiration and it helps me keep my faith as I continue practicing my art.

Randomly remembered this game and decided just a bit ago to play it again, and ended up getting all 9 main achievements (not counting Promise of course) in about an hour or two. Fun little romp, I'd say, reminds me mildly of another more recent game, "One Step From Eden", what with the deck system and the inspiration mechanic.

To get an infinite combo:
0) Keyboard controls for your sanity. 1) Don't use any attacks. 2) For your first few turns, don't spend any idea points, just play +idea cards until you max out at 50. 3) Play only Sketching until you run out of idea points. Pass your turn if you don't have Sketching in your hand. 4) You should now have 12 copies of Sketching in your deck. 5) Use Sketching to gain more of Inspiration, Baking, Apple Pie, Curiosity, and Gore in that order of priority. You'll also need to play Sketching on Muse and Rest so you have 4 of each, so you can play a full hand of Apple Pie. You may want a few more Sketching cards to grow your deck faster. If your hand runs out, use the snack time ability (W key) to draw a new hand. After a while, Inspiration will mostly draw Baking, which will mostly draw Apple Pie. Once you are comfortable in your combo, start playing Gore until you've played it 15 times. On your next turn, you'll be able to kill each enemy with one Stab.

Pro tip) Don't kill first enemy, gather as many ideas as possible, use Quick Sketching to collect good cards. Curiosity, Muse, Wanderer, Lolita, Big Guy, Apple Pie, Studying, Gore, Meditation are good. And try to get as many Stab as possible. Use Snack Time in boss fight to heal yourself and get more ideas or deal more damage. Good luck!

Ironically, I got the medium badge before the easy one. Then I promptly farmed sketching and curiosity with sketching until I got 30, still had to use the reset thing.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you're going for Medium badge you'll start with a bunch of battles that will hardly fight back, a mid-boss Mandy, a handful of harder enemies, and then the final boss is Cube. None of them pose a serious threat if you keep some lightbulbs around for healing, but it takes some time.

Plays quick. That's undervalued. Gamers don't like sitting through a ****ing menu animation 9000 times. "I know what I'm doing next and you won't let me do it."

Some hints: Muse is amazing. Build up a lot. Inspiration becomes better IF you have a lot of curiosity cards, so builds up Curiosity a lot. The other yellows it's best to avoid. Quick sketching is valuable. Build it up to get more yellow combo cards. Best food is apple pie, since it gives you muse.
Warriors are very inefficient to use. Better usually to pass and save up idea points. 2nd boss (cube): Stun with big guy is vital (or just infinite combo)

I may not grasp the exact mechanics and optimal strategy for the game, but what I do understand is that those giant jugs are all I need to win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The trick is to avoid attacking in the first battle until you have beefed up your deck. You do this by playing idea cards until you have enough to use the sketching ability (big E in the top right).

Nice Game! I was wondering whether there will be a discard card mechanic added later. I believe trimming the deck would allow multiple play styles.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
easy, fun, and even if you're bad at the game you can still do good. allthough i must say that the dodge mechanics feel underpowered, as when i had 3 feathers i still got hit every time that i got them.

I really enjoyed this game and it was super relatable! I beat it with no continues and I didn't get the 2nd badge though. Not sure what can be done about that but I still loved the game! 5 stars from me!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow the 2nd run through at this was easier by far, didn't even need to Continue once... the medium badge is obviously very random.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I eventually got to the 30x combo, but its total random chance if you do it or even get to the boss with only 1 Continue... very boring repetitive card game that from what I can see the medium badge may as well be the impossible badge
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
EASY BADGE HUNTERS: To get the easy badge, make sure you have enough lightbulbs (30) to use the "Quick Sketching" option on the left so that when you run out of cards you can refresh your deck and keep the combo going.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so, it seems there's absolutely no skill whatsoever involved in this. I just keep clicking on each of the cards until I run out? Well, maybe a little in making sure I have lightbulbs (energy?) to be able to play those cards...but does that even matter? I don't get it. Probably doesn't matter to most, but I don't appreciate the cussing. And, the whole premise is rather ridiculous. 1/5
