It's a bit easy, but the simple card mechanics are fun. Also, I've coded before, and let me tell you, making something good in a short amount of time is harder than you might think, even if you have a good idea.

Excellent game concept!! 4/5 (only because I finished the game and never got to see a few of the cards!) I would suggest a "remove from deck" special card (like the opposite of the copy card) to get rid of cards you don't like.
I would love a New Game + mode where you get to keep your deck instead of restarting... but if you do this, please allow us to remove a few cards as a reward for finishing.
I had considered Remove type of cards before, but it can cause the infinite loop very easily(just removing all the cards without draw effect). Keeps deck idea is really nice, I can try it.

Thank. You. So. Much! My apologies for resorting to punctuating each word but I want to emphasize this. It is so gratifying for an artist like you to take one's comments to heart. You responded calmly, and better yet: Your tweaks and changes have made the game not only more manageable, it has made it more interesting. I have now replayed the game and enjoyed it a lot. Thank you.

Great game..just a point that should be obvious by the best combo list but the indefinite idea loops tend to make the game pointlessly easy I don't remember the last time I was 'hit' but the last fight was just me circular looping ideas with damage as I got close to 50

Love it ! The whole concept is really nice and fresh.
Keep working on, i would really like to see more of this!
5/5 for me!

everytime I am about to give up on kongragate, something like this comes around. simply a masterpiece 6/5. Please make a version 2 of this game, with more cards and a bit more dynamical battles (e.g. more "feather"-like cards to intercept enemy action and more consecutive enemy actions that can deal significant damage if not intercepted). or just more TITIES ! :D love it, good job. cheers
Got it! Glad you like this game, it really encourages me to do more than I can, a more improved sequel will definitely come some day, no matter I won or not.

The most glaring issue that I see with this game is that redrawing your hand and getting cards that increase your lightbulbs is really unbalanced. All you have to do is to keep putting more of those cards in your deck and you have it where you can go through the game without any worry.
Besides that, it was a fun game. The whole idea of being able to put cards in your deck on the fly was interesting though it does need to be refined. It was a very enjoyable game and I look forward to seeing how you progress with it.
I noticed that problem too, so I decide fix it in the new game, since some of the Kongregators really enjoying stacking cards, I will keep that OP mechanism just for this game. (I think some of the players are really smart to noticed that and used it to achieve high score I can't never imagine while I was testing, you guys are the best).

It may not count for much, but, this is the first game I've found that's deserving of a 5/5. I can relate to some of the struggles Aisleen goes through in this story. It also helps that the gameplay is fun, fast paced and, for me at least, something I've never quite seen before. Good work.

Crappy, uninteresting game. I'm not some feminist but I'm still about 90% positive it has 1 extra rating just for the tits and overall sexualization.

Very nice game! I give it a strong 4,5/5. You could introduce several difficulties as this was too easy for me (maybe that's because I play MTG) The concept was very fresh and nice, the titsy artist was great :) both on the visuals and psychology. Advice for the future - add more cards (especialy with negative negative effects)

2 more bugs: 1. I cannot get the achievement of play Gore 3 times. (It showed I have Gore X 3 in the next turn) 2. I finished the game but I did not have the last card.
Yes, I check the code, the Gore one I put it into a wrong place, will fix it after event ends.
You won't want the last card, that is Artist Block from the last boss.

Great concept and beautiful music, 4/5. It got a tad tedious near the end most likely because I played the whole game in one go, but it started to get repetitive as the "final boss" of this part slowly had her hp drained to 0 with a few attacks here and there from me. Keep up the good work, the main character is also great.

I get the feeling that it isn't supposed to play everything so fast you can't see it and feel like you might have a seizure?

250card, 2.3k combo and 46gore. This is my first game ever archive top on any high score. Thanks Cheng3939 for the Great game 5/5. A bit more dialogue and weapon would be nice

Hahaha, this Yandere-reference (I guess) is amazing:
Achievement "Notice Me Senpai": "Play Gore 3 times in a single turn."

The first time I started the game, it sped through a ton of conversation bubbles without stopping on any of them, so im asuming I missed some sort of tutorial, and now I have no idea what is going on. Is there a way to reset the game so I can see whatever that was I missed?
Yup, I will try to fix the tutorial problem later, at that moment is really not enough time.
But no, conversation bubble currently doesn't affect much.

Very solid game. Tip: focus on cards that let you draw cards that themselves draw cards. Sounds obvious, but it works.

Expand on this game please; you did this in 10 days; imagine what you could do in like, a month or something. Best game of the comp so far.

Cool idea + art, but at the point in the game I currently am at, spamclicking cards until I can't seems to beat every stage.
Great Job my friend! You reach the boundary I have never thought of, it is really amazing.
(It was a designing mistake actually, but I will keep it for you)

Its a fun small game, but lacks real alternative strategies to running Wanderer -> Curiosity -> Inspiration -> Ambition -> Wanderer/Stab - Repeat.

I was planning to redesign the whole game, maybe a 4 members party with different skills and separate deck, and some special cards can let you change the people on the ground.
Rough Thought:
Programmer : Focus on attack combo, can choose the card you want to draw
Artist : Similar to the Aisleen right now, can change the deck formation really easily
Sound Engineer : Good at healing and boosting others, some cards can prevent you from death visiting.
Writer/Planner : Good at ideas gaining combo, can't attack or heal

Addendum: Notice Me Senpai is definitely broken. Stacked 7 gores in a single turn/fight and it didn't unlock (high damage multipliers can't be displayed btw, x128 just shows as x1). On the plus side, nuking the last boss with a single Big Guy was hilarious.
I have noticed that too, after the event is ended, I will fix it right away, thanks for the information!
I never know someone can deal that much damage in a single turn...wow

Some tips: with a bunch of luck on your first turn, you could finish the entire game in a single turn. To achieve this, always choose inspiration and curiosity whenever a quick redraw offers them. Those are added as extra copies to your deck. Use sketching to copy Wanderers, since they're always idea positive (wanderer -1 into curiosity +2 into XYZ), they deal damage and keep the infinite chain going (sketching also adds permanent copies to your deck). Some other combos are always idea positive, but result in dead ends (baking -> apple pie -> muse -> rest = +6 ideas. muse -> rest = +8). Just always save 15 ideas and use quick redraw if you ever run into too many dead ends.

Notice Me Senpai: it seems the 3 gores have to be played not only in the same turn, but also the same battle (turns can last multiple battles). 3 stacked gores (all stacked and pending, not mixed between active and pending) didn't unlock the achievement.

I'm seeing all these comments on how hard the game was, but I thought it was pretty easy. Did I luck out, or did no one notice the 3 abilities that your character has (one of which was redraw, which empties your hand and refills them with different cards)? Did it with 1 life, no continues. Going to play again to get the other achievements. Most of my gameplay involved using the redraw ability to get 80+ back to back moves before ending a turn. It's all about Ideas management. Loved the game by the way.

I'd like to play this, but some things aren't able to be clicked, like cards that I have requirements for, or the "slots" mini game when choosing a card. I have to reload the page to get out of it. I'm currently unable to beat the first character because of this, but as soon as the bugs are worked out, I'd love to try again
If a card have Remain effect, it can't be click, or maybe you are run out of ideas(the resource required by some card)
If none of them cause that, please tell me where that problem occurs, I may be able to fix it after the event.

I liked the game before the gameplay update - now I'm on the verge of loving it. Yes, it's repetitive, but the gameplay is quick so you can really get into good rhythm of cycling through the cards and wiping out your earlier artwork. I'd love to see this developed further (more bosses, more cards, etc).
The original gameplay didn't require too much thinking,it was just rewashing your hand and keeping combo goes on , so I decided to change it a little bit, sorry about that.
Maybe in the future, there will be more characters and tactics you can play, and thanks for your reply!

With many games developers always use some cheap tactic to try to make the game seem hard. Cube isn't hard they are spammy if that artist block cards wasn't spammed so much you might actually be able to do something other then dying there were many times where I had 3+ artist blocks in my hand at one time. After awhile I stopped caring what was in my hand and just clicked whatever till the battle was over.

Some fundamental aspect of this game must be eluding me. I really want to see the rest of the story, but when the opponent does about half of my max life in damage, while after ten turns I have just about removed a tenth of their life, I simply get bored out of my skull. I don't know if the cube is end-boss or not - unfortunately I probably never will...

Hello! I am the developer of this game, it is made for a 10 days game jam, so it might not be perfect right now, and the stories might looks odd due to the rush.
Any critics are welcome, I will keep developing it no matter what will happenã„¡

The many levels of sketches and slowly developing art style do well to represent the time spent becoming a skilled artist.
