It pains me that when you fill in a row or column incorrectly the game immediately tells you. There is button to check if you made any mistakes, so I don't know why the numbers on the side automatically go red.

This game has the same bug as many others from this developer: If they check for a row to be legal, they check if it is correct, not if it is legal. So you can always test when there is an X and an O left in a row which is correct. If you guess wrong, it will be red despite looking legal.

Is there any way to pause? It's a bit disheartening to see you took 15 minutes over a puzzle because you had an interruption.

Puzzle 1 of level 3 has at least 3 different solutions (when I had ten squares left there were 3 distinct ways to fill them still satisfying all the conditions, including two ways which simply involved taking four squares and inverting their colours). Poor show!

This game is actually quite enjoyable once you figure it out. I've made a little image tutorial that you can use for the first stage if you're having troubles. Every stage can be beaten by using pure logic and no guesswork at all: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/Techno_master/Tic-Tac-Toe-Logic-Guide.jpg (might have to zoom in a little) Hope it helps.

I've played every single game that you've released when they came out, and I've requested music on each game. You not only don't add music, you don't reply. Enjoy another 1/5.

This game makes me feel like I'm thick and I just don't get it. Unlike all of your previous games, I can't get through a single level without guesswork. Perhaps it's in need of better instructions or more hints. Even checking the comments didn't give me independence from the "guess and check" method, and when half a puzzle involves guessing it just doesn't feel as satisfying when you finish.

BUG REPORT: The pop-up menus don't stop you from being able to click on the board, so when you want to save a board and switch to the next puzzle, you keep accidentally clicking on the board when selecting the buttons on the menu.

Another hint: when feeling stuck, scan around for imbalanced rows/columns with only X or O left, like 4-1 in the 10x10. Usually you can figure out where the last X goes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Of course, you always have to use the "if I have 5 empty spots in a row and 1 X remaining, it must go in the middle" type of logic to keep things flowing...

The 6x6s and (most of) the 8x8s can be solved simply by avoiding 3-in-a-row and following the logic. For the 10x10s, when you feel stuck start double-checking the rows and columns for potential identicals. You *never* have to guess, though sometimes it feels that way. Often a missing pair of spots has to be O-X instead of X-O to avoid making an identical row/column.

Oh awesome. Another one of these games that I have to grind through mindlessly for the easy badge. They just go on for too long for me, and it's painful.

I really like the game, but is hard to concentrate on the board with the rows highlighting because i naturally rest my mouse either to the right or at the bottom. Could you create something that turns off the 'pinning' if needed?

@wryyy: In 6x6 puzzle #4, the second row is the same as the last column, so I suppose the rows and columns can be the same, so the "difference" rule only applies to columns to other columns, and rows to other rows.

Conceptis, I don't know how many times I have to tell you to add music to your games. You don't listen, that effects your rating.

Saw the game, recognized the dev from past games and jumped in with both feet. Finished the first lvl puzzles and started into lvl 2 and wondered if I was missing something - it seemed like a lot of trial and error. THEN read the comments, THEN read the rules, THEN it became a fun puzzle (went back and did everything the "right" way). Looking forward to more!

I don't like how some of the level 3 puzzles have more than 1 solution, but only 1 is counted as correct. It can't be solved without testing which alternative is "right" through trial and error

I don't get the rules for this game. I managed to fill the first grid with even balance of items & no duplicates & it tells me there are 10 mistakes. Why?
Here is the grid:
xxxooo
oxoxox
oxooxx
ooxxxo
xooxxo
xoxoox
The instructions are really not clear & there is no examples of logic to solve this. Sorry conceptis, but this is your worst puzzle to date.

Just got a double solution on the very first 10x10, you can swap the middle cells of the very top and bottom columns and it's still valid.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@kirayamagami; every puzzle has exactly one solution. If you think you have more, check for double rows or collumns because one of your solutions is wrong.

All puzzles can be solved without guessing. Keep in mind that there can not be 3 X/O's in a row, there are an equal number of X/O's in each row/column (3/3, 4/4, 5/5 depending on the size of the puzzle) and no two rows or two columns can be the same.

Every single puzzle is solve-able by logic. If stuck, pin a column and check it against the others. It will change the highlighted colour if the column is identical, giving you another clue was to how to solve it. Can be done by checking without the pining, but the built-in tool is helpful.

And when I posted that previous comment, I did it without realizing that the interface in this game has been revised from the initial release version.
