I only understood GameTommy's "running event" after reading it seven times. Well played, tommy. On a more serious note, you can get an 11-day finish without max running.

*SPOILER* None of the upgrades in the game will be useful later on, so if you will complete the game quicker by skipping an expensive upgrade so yo can reach 1,000 stars then do so with one exception. You will want to have the Run Faster upgrades. You're going to want to have that maxed out for the running event after you collect 1,000 stars. :)

@PurpleKingCrazy and karimiticos: Technically you can win this game without moving at all and simply keep going through days until you eventually collect 1,000 stars, but it is MUCH quicker to move around and collect them.

I wish I can rate comments including stars in the comments but I know I'll get flak for making up this kind of joke. Wait a minute I'm jus here for the bedge tho so yea I hope this comment is quite funny that I would berate such A game. I give 1000 stars to this game for good morals and speech recognition and its an excellent idle game.

It's ironic that I gave a game about stars only 2 stars the last time it was badge of the day. But come on, even for a Flash game the graphics are terrible.

I was disappointed by the attraction feature, even at max level. The radius is so small, it is barely noticeable at the lower levels. Also, the stars could get a bit more of variety (for example, after silver stars, get red stars, comets or rainbow stars. Otherwise, a good simple game overall

I opened this game up expecting some nice and happy game. Two seconds later I become both sad and determined because this kid has a dead dad, and I am the only one who can collect enough stars to help this sad child who just wants a dad. Then I feel even worse because the dad becomes a zombie. What I learned today is that falling stars are like genies. They're very rude.

A nice game that could be great with some small addition: multiplier based on how many silver stars (in a row?) you get, and some "red stars" or "asteroids" that you need to avoid (or even some obstacles that you need to jump over to move, so that jumping get actually useful :D).

By the way, you don't need to upgrade Speed or Control at all. I did Silver, Silver, Magnet, Stars, Time, then the rest of Silver, the rest of Stars, the rest of Magnet, the rest of Time, and finished two days later.

"Stargazer Badge
(5 10 points - 168,179 awarded)
Collect 50 stars in one day
You acquired this badge on Jul. 16, 2011." Wow, it's been a long time since I played this game in a long for the first time.

I got the easy badge in 5 minutes and the medium badge 15 minutes after that. Ironically the game has so many stars, yet I only gave it 2 stars. It's just walking left and right in order to collect stars. How did this get enough plays and a high enough rating to get badges? The only worse game I've played is "Snail" by Meepo. That's why I gave this 2 stars instead of 1. I gave Snail 1 star because it's just holding right and this game has better gameplay (walking left and right instead of just right) and a simple upgrade system.

Good game; getting all the upgrades gives you enough power to finish a turn or maybe two later, so it doesn't overstay its welcome or prevent you from exploring the mechanics fully, like so many other upgrade games do. Also, am I jaded for thinking that the finale was gonna feature the kid in the hospital recovering from what must have been several thousand stars falling on his face?

I initially gave the game three stars, because while the idea was cute, overall it got a bit boring. But the end made me chuckle too much so I uprated it to five stars. To make a person play an entire game just to deliver a joke, is a dedication I cannot overlook.
