A good game, but I agree with the others, there should be a way to regain health. Other than that it's a worthwhile play.

Very fun, even though I suck at aiming with a mouse from a central point like that!
Two suggestions, though: Work on the font for the text that shows up in the bottom left. It only half-shows on my screen. Second, change it to a square...as it is, the grey things coming from the top or bottom don't give you nearly as much time to defend as the ones from the left or right.

I wanted to get health back so I could keep going! Didn't even get to see what green was on my first try, and level progression was a tad slow for my attention span. Good stuff tho.

I really enjoyed it although I didn't last too long. I'd like to be able to fly around (Asteroids style) to get out of an impending pinch...but overall it seemed pretty innovative. (Having the second powerup be a superbomb seemed a bit out of scale...I would have preferred something less drastic and more useful in a "small" way.)

Really well done for a first game. I think the ability to eventually upgrade your weapon type of fire instead of just increasing the rate of fire would be good. Otherwise, a very solid game.

Update: Removed the colour point deduction from shooting colour fragments (some times it's necessary to shoot such a fragment). Tweaked difficulty for levels > 11. Other colours do not recharge while yellow is active.

Green restores your health every time the bar fills. I guess those that want a health restore didn't get the greens?

Wow! Very good game.
Yellow is very good, and it gets REALLY hard about a level after Yellow starts appearing. Be nice to move, but I understand that'd change the game. I can't think of anything I would change to make it better. Somehow the difficulty manages to ramp at the same speed as your upgrades. Very welldone.

Having the ability to move and restore health would greatly increase my enjoyment of the game. Also, if the colors were restored pixel by pixel while the player is playing, that would be really exciting.

Good game, had a good time with it. It is a bit easy. I'd like to see it get harder and maybe allow the player to level up their guns a bit more, such as a wave gun or a ripple gun or missles or something. Just to add a bit of variety.

very fun but extremely difficult for people who are color blind :P i just had to tell the shadings apart. overall, one of the best "classic" games on kongregate.

I like the game, however I wish I could move my color pod around. Other than that minor gripe which changes the nature of the game, it was rather fun. Actually, another gripe is that the game doesn't ramp up quickly enough. I don't want to replay it because it took so much time to get to where I was. Also, I wish there was a way to restore health. Bleh, bleh.

It's a nice concept, with relaxing music. I don't much like the mouse movement, though, and the dificulty curve seems too high. I don't like the fact that the colored orbs are harmful if you don't shoot them or turn around, exposing yourself to gray orbs.

Very nice game. It will keep your attention if you're willing to give it a chance. It took a while to figure some things out. Also, I think I'd like an explanation of what the different abilities do. It's amusing to say that we'll figure it out. But I'd rather have something concrete.

Awesome first game, though it gets kind of repetative after a while, maybe that's just because I kept shooting colors and letting colorless hit my shield O.o (4/5)

Update: Changed duration of yellow power to avoid win cycle and reduced energy as a result of shooting a coloured fragment.

My only complaint is that it is only mouse controlled, which is a handicap for me. Otherwise, cool idea and great game.

Great game, except, as it has been stated a dozen times, the game gets too easy after a while. Never make a game that stops being harder and has no limit.
And I still don't know how to use yellow.

Needs sounds for when you shoot, get damaged, and absorb colors. Would give you a sort of "confirmation" about your actions even if you aren't looking directly at your pod.

I agree with every point of Zanshin. Once you get blue and yellow maxed, you cant lose. Maybe shorten the time of the yellow. Red could be a bit better though, since you still can't cope with the massive grays.

I finally stopped playing because of a locking bug (gray ball gets stuck next to the ship and doesn't die).
However I was about to surrender anyway because I couldn't lose. Just use blue, then reload blue while yellow and use blue to survive while yellow reloads.
- Make yellow shorter. Let it reload other bars but only about 1/2.
- Whenever the player shots a colored ball the color bar should decrease, even losing a level if he just got it.

Hey, this is one of the better games I've seen on Kongregate. Great job, good soundtrack. My only issue is the pace of the beginning of the game, very slow. I'm wondering how many colors total there are? Great job though.

Very nice. A bit of a slow start, and sometimes the balls come at you from different sides at the same time. Perhaps if the lens were further from the body, that might allow for collecting a colour then quickly shooting a white that is 'hiding' behind it. Otherwise, great gameplay. Keep up the good work!

Pretty sweet game. I've seen this idea before, but I like the way you tied it together with that music and lights. Pretty cool. Wish the bars were a little brighter though.
