decent game. I liked how you could upgrade weopons. Got alittle hard aroud lvl 7. but i like the remix of Hide & Seek by Imogen Heap.

Excellent game. Very original, but pretty hard, especially when you reach level 7 and loads of whites come at you at once. It's also quite hard making sure the colours hit your shield while you shoot the whites.
5/5

Original and very well done, much more impressive than many of the games on Kongregate. If this is your first game, I hope you keep making more and I look forward to seeing what you can do once you get some practice!

This is a pretty fun game. If you make a sequel I think that it would be good if you could purchase upgrades as you go along.

A badge you say?? All right. I apologize for neglecting this game for too long, especially after the developer complained about the lack of badges months ago. I didn't do it on purpose, dapbot! I SWEAR! Also, the song is "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.

never mind, got the yellow gun! For those who wonder, like i did, its slows down everything for a short amount of time.

I think it should get harder more slowly, and it would be great if there were more way-points. Could it form one picture per level? That would be encouraging to continue, as it is, it gets a little tedious. Maybe just have bigger pixels?
But, I love the concept!! Way to go with the music too!

the game gets WAAAAY too hard way too fast, on the first level, there was 3 dots, on the next, about 30, and all of them came at the same time, either lengthen the first level so we can have more speed for our shots, or lower the amoun of them in future levels. this is an awesome idea for a game and with a tiny bit more equalization, this could be an awesome game

Wow... after reading all of the comments, I suppose I must be very good at this game... as you increase red, teh bullets get thicker as well as reload faster; the blue bomb simply reloads faster; green healing comes quicker, and yellow stops time longer. I think it is a very creative powerup selection... survive longer and you can see for yourself!

Simple, fun, and challenging. Good concept, great presentation, cool music. No complaints! 5/5
Level 12 is a beast... gamer beware!

I think the game is well made, a lot of the criticism is a little bit ridiculous. What else could be upgraded but rate of fire? If it were some sort of spread shot then you would end up hitting more colored pixels. Green does heal, so no worries about that. A top notch game. My only problem was that at the highest yellow levels, there were no more colors. A definite top-notch first game dapbot.

not too bad! I didn't realize until later in the game that if you miss collecting a color that it will damage you as well. =\ Music is good for the game. Well done.

Absolutely love the music, great choice and, after a while, it is what kept me playing. I think it would help a ton if the upgrades gave more than just fire rate. Also, some ability to heal would be forgiving.

The game gets a little boring after a while. The music is really nice for the gameplay though. Also, if the creator actually reads this, I would suggest that to go along with the theme of liberating or whatever pixels, that the background slowly becomes another image

Good game, I enjoyed having my judgement challenged on where to shoot and when and what enemies I should prioritize.
My only problem is that I can't seem to live past level 12 -.-;

I liked the way it was presented. A nice and simple game, with progressively harder levels. Just got too confusing level 10+. Gave it 4 stars

A pretty good game. First of all, the powerups should start earlier. Green comes in pretty late, and I couldn't see yellow at all. Difficulty is a bit hard, but nothing wrong with that. Not a good choice of music at all. The red bullets should be a little bit bigger since it seems a little hard tohit stuff currently. Difficulty levels would be nice, where harder difficulties yield less powerup orbs. Also, the powerups need more variety, not just speeding up the attacks.
4 stars.

A higher framerate would be nice.
There are a lot of improvements that could be made. The game has to progress to different colors faster. I have yet to find out what green does (Here's hoping it's "heal"), and a lot of that is because it takes about 8 minutes to get to that level, and I dislike that.
Second of all, the only upgrade (for red and blue at least) is rate of fire? Come on. Seriously. You can be more creative. Spread shot, homing, auto-absorb (shoot the color to absorb it), whatever.
The bomb needs to reload a lot faster, or have a different mechanism for it; even with upgrades, it's WAY too slow.
This leaves you with the cannon alone. At the level greens spout out, you have a nigh constant spawn of enemies coming at every direction, and rather quickly. Now, the red cannon can hold off fine for a while...but when it gets close, you want to set off that bomb. Unfortunately, it's only a quarter recharged and you just lost all your health. Time to do it all over again.

Game - 3 stars... good concept.. a little slow starting.. no sound effects? The song is a funny choice. It is Imogen Heap - "Hide And Seek". It was actually a song on a pretty well known SNL clip.

Great new approach to these shooting games, with the shield collector thing. I think what would help improve the game is to make the red bullets bigger to reduce the precision necessary to hit the balls, and at the same time increase the pace of balls coming in to balance out the difficulty. It would really help to have some sort of adaptive difficulty system where the balls come in faster and you score points faster if you are doing well, to prevent boredom with experienced players.

Good game great little diversion. great for a 1st game, liked the music, imogen heap remixed good match for the game, keep up the good work

I really like the concept here. Perhaps the fact that the grey pixels arrive in large clusters, rather than in a steady influx, makes the gameplay trickier than it needed to be, but the idea is very good. Needs a mute option, though.

Awesome game, but it gets way too difficult on the level where yellows first show up - I am pretty sure there is no way I could have avoided getting hit several times with the pattern I had there. Still, incredible.

Pretty fun game... I love the music. I'm actually just listening to the song in the game while I'm writing a paper.
Green slowly regens hp.
Push "S" for slow motion to activate yellow.

The games great, but something that bugs me is that when the new colour skills appear, they pass by way too quickly. So in the instructions part where it describes the game? don't be lazy~ just tell me what key corresponds to what. I was so close to getting first in the highscore... If only i knew what yellow does...
