What a fun concept ruined by the SLOW speed. There's no way to fast forward? Really?! Who thought that was a good idea?

And now after i finish game (no even one grind i get at the end almost 40K gold and all newest soldier.
So i decide to guide all step by step how you can use this cheating
1. go to battle, after battle ( no matter you win/lose) 2. enter castle, and next enter conscripion (no sell any units no doing anything else than i write) 3. buy maximum units you can afford (no matter what units) 4. close conscription window and open fortune wheel window, but no spin wheel. 5. close fortune wheel window and open artifacts window. Then close this window also. 6. And finally this was very important do not anything else, no change troop position, no enter any window again. Not doing anything. Just refresh page of the game.
Game is small and fast load (on my PC refresh in 10 second). And when you start game you see all units you buy earlier before refresh. And all gold you spent on that units you have also :).
You can do it only after battles, but you can do it after every battle.
Good luck

In game is bug, which one anyone can use to no gring for gold. After battle when you buy units, do not start next battle but refresh page instantly. When page is loaded you see all your gold before buyed units. But units you also have. Just every time you finish battle just buy max possible units and then refresh page.

There is a glitch with the timers. If you scroll down between the waves, they start to move really slow, but spell timer keeps running. That way it may possible to recharge all spells.

Keep getting keys on the damn wheel. I have more empty spots than I have people to fill them! I'm giving 1 star and moving on.

Been grinding level 14 or 15 for 40 minutes. I can't even get enough to buy a new character. They need to allow you to play an older level to grind.

The game needs a speedup button, UI optimization (the way units are sorted, for example, is tragic), and the save feature to be fixed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Accidentally closed the game. No save? I do not like having to start over or being forced to complete a game in one sitting. Needs a save. And a speed up button
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As already said, the game need a speed button.
Pretty easy with some Axemen on the frontline then Hunters and 5-6 monks in back with Bombers 2.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yagalone suggestion works. i used 6 monk, 24 hunter. didn't lose a level once i got that lineup. lvl 24 first try. no need for gold once you have it, so take off your loot artifacts and put in atk spd, def, atk dmg.

i feel like there is a math possible for the optimum number of monks. 30 slots, each monk boosts group attack power by 10%. can anyone come up with a formula? I just want to know
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Finished it easily with the most stupid lineup possible : 10 monks on the back, all hunters for the rest, defensive and archery boost artefacts.

Won the game with the following team: 1 line 5x axeman (cost 500, 75 attack, 1000 delay) and on top hunter; 2 line full of hunter (cost 250, attack 50); 3 line 5x hunter and exorcist 2; 4 line 2x bomber 2, 1x fire mage 3 and 3 monk; and last 5 line is 4x monk, 1x hunter and 1x fire mage 3. Artifacts - attack speed +15%, almost whole game the best one for loot income and defence +15%. Use monk spell at the every first round to safe you troops max. Cost me about 1,5h to beat game with 5-10 lose only.

Even with the unlimited gold bug (buy stuff in castle, go back to title screen, reload page, repeat as many times as you want) the game feels painfully slow and tedious.

If you play your cards right, you won't keep losing and having to grind like all the people who complain. I'll agree that it's a bit boring when your build is wrong, and punishing, but it's not the worst badge to grind

Some tooltips would have been nice, but once you get the hang of it, it seems there is only one tactical approach that pays off.
The key units are 4 of the strongest melee units in the front column and lots of Monks in the back. The 10% attack buffs of the monks stack and the shield duration increases with the number of monks.
One of each unit for their special and the rest filled up with archer type units. They are cheapest to upgrade and their special ability is strong.
Start each round with the shield and your units will finish the first row without taking damage.

This game starts off really nice. Beautiful graphics, bearable soundtrack, good pace. Solid five star material.
But when you approach the end, it really lacks things.
When the going gets tough, a good game invites the player to experiment with the tactics. This is not possible here, the units are too expensive and income is too low to venture far. An easy remedy would be the possibility to sell units for the value they were bought.
There is no grinding. Played levels disappear. When you get stuck on the last of a set of levels, you can only play that one until you have the cash to advance.

Go for warriors in 1 row, archers in 2, bombers in 3, mage in 4 and monk in 5 row.
Always have the highest upgrade unit avaible to you as it can be 3x stronger. So it can easily be an advance to sell out 6 old to buy 2 new upgraded.
Go for the best spell protection in first round as it then will be avaible once more in one of the last round.

Wow so I played through almost the whole game once, only could get to level 20. Each level past about 5 was a slog that I had to replay at least once. But on the chance wheel, I got an X just about every try. I restarted and have been getting decent gold/artifacts on the wheel and it's extremely easy! On level 15 and haven't lost once. Your game should NOT be balanced around a wheel of chance.
