Check out what happens if you put no one in a column. In early game, I gotway further than I should have with my first column melee, the second blank, and the third archers.

AI needs some tweaking, when an archer is preparing his shot to shoot someone who dies before he shoots, he targets another one and resets his timer and this can happen several times in a row
This may make bombers not attack for an entire round if you're particularly unlucky

FangSS you can sell your units, drag and drop to left door.
Falany, there is some strategy to the game, you just have to figure it out and then there really is no grind.
winnie, click hold and drag the archer into place then continue.

During level 17/18/19 I only got 30 gold and nothing else each round. Takes forever to grind enough to actually beat the levels

Seems like a fun game with simple but thought provoking mechanics. However I just can't get by with how slow it is, that coupled with things lacking a description such as skills. Just ended being a big turn off.
Might return in future but as it currently is a good chunk of the game is just tedious.

Health bars above stronger boss opponents would be nice, as well as being able to sell weaker players for half the price we bought them

Played through a few times to the end trying out different strategies. Monks are by far the best, ended up with 4 monks total, then about 8 axe and the rest were last stage archer with gun. Once you figure out when to use the shield ability its pretty much game over. Middle game was toughest for me.
Again the shield ability with 10% attack per monk is overpowered. Went through last levels with well over half units still alive.

1) Its not worth to have more than 4 melee on 1st row, enemies dont keep more than 4 rows up alive for long 2) At least your last row should be full monks 3) Mage and Exorcist arent worth beyond getting 1 for their Special. 4) You can have a full row of Bombers, but before upgrading to Bomber 2 is better to spend the money on upgrading the archers. 5) Archers should make 40%-50% of your force. 6) Holy Protection makes your whole force inmune, save it for enemy formations with lots of rear ranged forces, or the Big Bosses. Lightning is best against a lone Big Guy at the front. Burning Grounds and Bull Rush are best when the enemy formation is deep. Use Magic Blades before your front line fighters begin to wither. Sniper Shot is big killer as most of your force should be archers. 7) Artifacts, always equip the loot boosters: if you win the round you get more gold, if you lose you can equip your combat artifacts and retry. 8) Good game, Thanks to the Developer!

Well, still missing 3 artifacts. They should have end level bosses, gets bored after a while, a storyline would be nice. 4/5

WOW WTH 4/5 would be very generous. This game has a horrible ending i didn't even get to do 2 of the boards. I just picked the last map and i won the game i also missed out on 4 Artifacts i mean WTH is up with that. This actually has me mad at the end of the game that i can not at least keep playing maps i have beaten or something. I wanted to mess around and try say 24 monks and 6 mages or bombers or anything for that matter

Need 150 to 400 gold to buy units at my current tier. Amount earned per battle with +5% and +10% loot artifacts on: 28+ gold. FUN!

The ability to continue the game with some extra fights that continue to get more difficult would be nice. After all that work getting a team together, I only got to use the full team for the final fight.
Overall I think the game was really good. Nothing too "new" about the features, and its been done before, but it all ended rather abruptly. I'm sure I'm just repeating endlessly what everyone else has said here, but I thought it would be worth saying again.
Either way, thanks for the game devs.

The game ratios to time spend vs gold earned are so way off that it takes a lot of the shine off of this game - Its one thing to grind.....its another thing to enjoy doing so.....

Didn't we ask for a triple speed button in the last game?
I hate it when "developers" do not listen to customers wishes.

Why would you have an X on the fortune wheel? This is a game, the primary goal of which is to be fun, whats fun about randomly wasting a resource?

This game is easier if you follow these tips:
Put peasants/knights in the first column protecting archers, mages, bombers in the rear
Also always put peasants/knights at the botton of a column and archers over it. It will protect archers taking most of the damage.
Have at least one unit of each type to use all special abilities
When monks are available, put lots of them. They add 10% to the total attack. Putting a monk can be far more cost/effective than any other unit.
The effect of the special ability depends on the number of units. Therefore makes sense use special ability of peasants/knights and archers first since as they are in the front, is unlikely that they survive until the end.
It is very easy to defeat the monsters if you have lots of monks. Their special ability is a shield and it lasts longer depending on the number of monks. With enough monks your shield last long enough to defeat the monster totally unharmed!

cannot play, i have a "Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support." message on the screen

High score system is somewhat of a joke: doesn't matter how many days it takes to complete nor how many troops you have left at the end of the lvl... defeats the purpose of having one, doesn't it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yes just about 2 hrs to finish, wish there was more. great little game. reading some of the comments about being a grind? you need to figure out what to do and when to do it. not a straight forward game, timing the special attacks is critical.

I really liked the game! I noticed a lot of people complaining about the pacing being too slow, maybe needing a speed up button. I personally found the pacing perfect for me, I never lost more than a few times on any level and it was usually because I needed to use my abilities better. But I can see how it'd get bad if you fell behind, picked the wrong units early on or got unlucky with the spins/chests or just want to play at a more relaxed pace. I'm not sure that a speed up button is the right fix, since I was engaged at just 1x speed since the use of abilities is pretty crucial, maybe a better option would be to just let players replay older levels?

oddly, i didn't really have to do more then perhaps ten, if that, repeats of any level for grinding. That is ten total for the entire game, not just one level. Most of the time did better just by changing what order I used my abilities in.
