...you cannot really get the Roman War Machine in a game of this style
the Legionaires were NEVER meant to fight solo
they had Pilum's(throwing spears that bent to make them harder to get out) they fought in formation, you just can't GET it in this format

Much time put into this I can tell. Very good game (better than I can do anyway) this game has a lot of data already into it I say make it longer, and watch out for that spaming units w/ full spawn time.

this game could be better... but the gameplay is slow. controls are just wrong. A little boring but 3/5 never the less

Easy game. nice storyline 9/10 for the storyline. originality 3/10 because they did make some bits oringinal.mabye make the game 2x as long because i felt it was a bit short. overall a solid 7-10 [ 3.5/10 ] and make it much harder because there is no tactics involved. You could also make the game a bit like tyrant. [ without the cards ]

I went to look at the comments, and the enemy beat me, yet I still won? Lawl, easiest game ever, but I don't want to play since it's easy and, well, boring.

It doesn't make sense. If you see the describtion of the archer it says that it doesn't have ANY armor but you can upgrade its "armor" still.

This game isn't very strategic, its so similar to warlords call to arms as angelonious said, its an ok game but if they make a sequeal, i think if they make a sequeal they should do wat warlords did and make it a completely different game, except original

I failed the first mission somehow, i think its because the enemy just spammeda row of indefeatable archers, and i had nothing to counter them with?

As some others have said, it has definite potential, but still needs quite a bit of work. I't two biggest problems are that it's too short & too linear (ie, you can't choose to attack villages in some different order).

55s, win, 58s win, 56s win, ... control ... press space, space, space, space ... right now it's a good framework but not yet a game

I agree with darkboy5846. For one thing, there should be more resource gathering and buildings so at least it would be more RTS, and not like Warlord: Call to Arms.

I must say I agree with most of the others in here. It's a good game, but it's not original and it does have some problems.
First of all it's often hard to identify the correct row to counter the enemy, and then there are the issue of the tactical element; it really doesn't exist.
The romans was infamous for their use of formations when fighting, why not reflect that in the game in stead of having just skirmishers running randomly and alone around on the battlefield?

Too short, too few options for both deployment (I hate being limited to different lines, its so simplistic) and upgrades (you might mention that there's a limit on how far upgrades can go, and give stats for units) and missions.
Overall a decent try at a game, but neither historically accurate nor innovative.

nothing particularly wrong with the game, but i just used archers the entire time down one row, holding down space, longest match took 2min 10 secs. No strategy, no depth at all. Good music, good animation and research on the units, just work on gameplay 3/5
