I would like it if ships positioned in defense or told to go somewhere would be more likely to engage nearby hostiles than either fly past them or be flown past by them. Also, if you destroy the enemy command center you should automatically win, instead of having to destroy all the remaining stuctures

I'd understand an old computer running this game slowly, but the game shouldn't run slowly with minimum settings with a 3GHz 8GB processor.

Such a great game but poorly optimized: it struggles to manage 60 ships (your 30 ships + the opponent 30 ships), which really shouldn't be an issue with 2016's computer - I mean, my computer can handle 800 units in age of empires for instance

In addition to a use as weapons, the mining drones seem to suck up the resources from enemy miners too? At least it looks like they shrink...
Great game.

It's fun for the first few levels, then the worthless ship AI makes it unplayable. You'd need to command every ship separately with light speed in order to achieve anything near what you want.

Apparently, mining drones can shoot enemy ships. I used them to win the first sector, but I wouldn't totally substitute them for your regular fleet of destruction. Anyway, just a tip if you want to beat the first sector without waiting alot, select mining drones, make them shoot at those pesky little enemy drones. Don't forget, mining drones have limited health, too. Just sayin' if you wanna try it.

Lol, when I kept getting rushed in some levels by the enemy's lvl 2 ships, I simply built like 4 or 6 torpedo towers and they dealt with them nice n easy. Of course they did need to be repaired too. Took care of that.

A fleet of ships to command centre: We need to get to the enemy buildings to destroy them! The quickest way is going all the way around the planet!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Are we colonizing planets with a very small ( around 10-12 km considering how much space these buildings would logically use up ) surface area
or are these building as large as a 1000 km in perimeter

The reason why i played this game is the fact it reminds me of a certain game area in a ipad app (The Void, level: Eridani, Wrethk Homeworld)

great game ( and surprisingly plays & ratings have gone way up ).
A sequel with all the changes noticed ( and plz make the ships able to steer on the spot ) would more than successful.

@Ganthrithor in which case the developer needs to add a line or 2 to their path finding code to tell ships to turn the other way if there is a collision with a planet.

the ship AI is kinda bad, when i target an enemy ship after the last one even tho it was destroyed, my ships flew into the place the last enemy ship was in, and one of my ships decided to go around an entire planet even tho the enemy ship right next to it...

So basically, our planet gets destroyed. Time to exterminate another race to capture their planet (which they haven't managed to destroy)

I've noticed that the enemy always does the same thing: They save up a little, and then build a bunch and attack in waves. The waves are always pretty small and often ships will be sent out staggered so that they reach their targets at different times. Once they start attacking, they rarely build past tech level 3. I wish the enemy AI would try a different strategy sometimes.

I find it weird that a civilization advanced enough to travel between galaxies, colonize otherwise lifeless rocks and mine resources from anything in the galaxy never invented the spaceship that can shoot at enemies while moving. :)

Hey great game, I think the level of difficulty is just right! I just got started making simple flash games and playing this inspired me to finally start on my first serious production.

Before you guys all go crying about the "terrible AI", think about how complicated AI's are. And then think about how you will most likely never have the intelligence or skills to make one. Now shush.

Did you know that mining ships can actually do damage? You can literally mine the enemy ships(No resources gained though)!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The ships try to get around the fast way but the planet is in their way so they go around the long way. That is why they take the long way.

Please make it easier to click on an enemy you want to attack. I wouldn't mind accidentally clicking on an enemy when I wanted to click close to one, but when a fighter is moving quickly it is very hard to tell your fighters to attack them, while said enemy fighter is destroying them all the while...

I really, REALLY have to give you props for the interplanetary missile silo theme and the planet buster activation noise!
