AI control is terrible, just terrible. You can't make them stop attacking and retreat, which is really stupid for an RTS game. And whenever I attack a building, half my ships go around the long way, through a hive's nest of turrets, and for some stupid reason I apparently can't control them. Also, some of my ships were exploding for no reason; there were no turrets or ships shooting them, they would just blow up sometimes when attacking buildings. Some of the friendly AI ships refuse to fire, they just get as close as possible than die. Far to many problems to make this enjoyable, fix them, 1/5 until than.

I recommend the Stealth Fighters... With fully upgraded lasers, they have high firepower and if they just dont turn to hit the enemy you can use stealth to save their lives...

I too have had problems with the drone AI, including them refusing to stop attacking a building, going the long way around a planet and attacking the wrong building.
Also, i don't think it's fair to be unable to attack a building on the other side of a planet with missiles.

Very addictive. Please impove ship AI some more though. Sometimes the response is sluggish and sometimes it refuses to attack a ship unless clicked several times.

Though the AI isn't still much smarter then the toaster, mentioned before, i will give you 3/5 instead 2/5 to honor you effort in updating the game ^^ Fix the AI some more/completely and you can surely reach 5/5

Daddy, like all of Ben's games, there's a certain degree of variance in the AIs. In this game the particle cannons only fire straight forward (which takes some time to line up with a slower ship), but does more damage than the lasers (which fire in pretty much any direction). This is a reasonable part of the game, not "dumb AI".

For the sake of all that is right and good, write a better keyboard event handler! Sticky controls = DEATH for the best game.

The ship AI is so dumb. They won't all attack when I click on a building or ship. They just sit there and get destroyed!

You should be able to scroll the screen with the wasd-keys. Also I don't like that when you build something you are automaticly put back to the main in-game menu, so if you want to place several buildings you have to select for example "battle center", "build", and then the thing you wanted to build all over again. Frustrating.

I like it but the ship AI sucks, like Glaed says and if I want to attack something that's behind my attack drone, the drone first moves away and then turns. that takes too much time and the enemy is gone.

I'm still rating it a 4/5 though. The concept is great, gameplay (besides the ship AI) is pretty fun and (so far as I've seen) not verry buggy, and the graphics are good.

My ships will often decide to go around 9/10ths of a large planet (often right past defenses that I didn't want them to get in range of) to attack a building that they were just barely out of range of.

One thing that bugs me is that you can't spam the ships movement. I tried killing mining drones and they ended up following them and got pwned by 5 attack drones. (I had 9)

Path finding is horrid... I'd tell the ships to attack the bottom away from the defenses and some just circle the planet like drunkards. I like the game other than that though.

So I have noticed why it is so easy... Aside form level 1 every other level the AI has only built buildings. No ships.

I can't really handle my ships not going where I click, not attacking what I tell them to attack. Sometimes I have to click 3 times before the order will "stick".

I really like this game :D
The only thing i do not like is, that mines magically dissappear after a while.
What's the use of making a sweet minefield when it just disappears into nothingness after a certain amount of time :(

I've finished 3 sectors, but i dont get any of the upgrades?!?!?! What is needed to "conquer" a sector? I mus colonize all planets or what?!

It only saved sector 1 for me, i cleared sector2-5 but even after victory, i never got the sector, good concept but still broken game 2/5

Pathfinding sucks badly (so much that the Orbital Devastator varies wildly between game-winning and useless depending on if it decides to A) work properly B) attack a building with only torpedoes or C) wander off in a straight line not taking orders.

If ship pathfinding worked well this game could easily be a 4/5 (It would lack a bit of features for being a 5/5) but with such a horrible pathfinding for the ships it goes straight to 2/5.
It's horrible when you click on a building close to your ships, and some of your ships go all arround the planet to attack it
