progression is a roller coaster... at first slow, then perfect but after the first boss just boring, far too much time in between lvls and a awful grind :(

The economy of this game is all out of whack. There are 25 powerups in total. You are better not skipping the easy waves (the default configuration) and it is easier to defeat a ship by getting on top of it (no ship collision). And after a while, you defeat the boss and you get only 5% damage bonuses.
Standing on top of the ships can be a way in the mid-game.
Since you take less damage, but i assure you, the further you go the more damage the ships do, and it's all about dodging bullet.
The 5% rewards was meant only to give people who likes challenges a way to play it and improve the scores.

Great game but could be improved. It needs an indicator of near and far enemies. Maybe a omni-directional green lazer that only hits near enemies and a tracking missle that targets far enemies? Also it needs better rewards for beating the boss. Perhaps smaller ships that increase in number and power with boss kills? Also when orbs stop giving upgrades the late game feels boring. Thanks for considering.
I'm happy you liked it so far.
This was meant to be more an arcade style game more than an RPG one!
I'll probably make a sequel of the game where killing the boss will unlock another shop with boss-only currency, and tons more upgrades.

After playing this for almost one day, i can safely conclude that this is a potential idle incremental game. Similar to clicker games, but more fun since u dont spend time clicking but rather moving around and shooting to aquire money for upgrades.
So would like to give insight to the creator that u might wanna do this or some other game in the future that is that way.
5 stars for now. CHeers!

need like 1 or 2 seconds of invincibility after picking an upgrade. I was pretty far in game got the upgrade thingy and picked the top option, afterwards (I was using the mouse to control ship) my ship was where my mouse curser was after I picked the option and that was in the middle of a ton of enemies.

When people are talking about not wanting to skip waves, it doesn't mean they don't want to skip to wave 8 or something as soon as they start, it means when they complete wave 1, they want to move to wave 2, not 5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you pick up too many upgrade bubbles the game crashes. Be warned players: If you only have one choice when picking up an upgrade bubble, you're close to the end of the bubbles and your next one might be a game freeze!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The way the waves progress depends on how much of the wave you destroy. It's a pretty awkward system with the periodic upgrades. Slowing through waves to get more upgrades results in a game crash after grabbing the last upgrade. Pretty decent at it's core but needs some work and a slightly better vision for how some game mechanics relate to each other.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Are the purchased upgrades random? If so it might be nice to have a wipe game option if you get a lot of subpar upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
very good game. but skipping waves is probably the most useless option since your power comes from waves and reset after death
Depends!
Actually a lot of people use it, since the later waves will give more cash. Or maybe they're trying to set an high score.
Thus giving an option it's never bad!

I like this game. So here are my views :
1. When first start, theres no intro / tutorial. So i was about to give this game a miss as how hard it was on the first time trying it. Then i can see that we can upgrade permanently and that makes this game more enjoyable.
But i can see later on it will be boring. So suggest that there are daily goals / incentives to make us come back to this game again and again.
I kinda avoided the tutorial since i thought it was quite straight-forward.
But i'll add something at the very begin.
I love the daily goals idea, in a moderate way they're a nice add!

I think it is a great game, that said the upgrades are kind of unclear (how far is 'close'?) and some are inherently better than others 25% damage increase is better than 30% but -15% shield the minor boost isn't worth the massive downside
really though I think it is the best new game this month (granted not being a cash-shop dominant or idle game puts it in the top 5 already)
I know, but later in the game when the easy choiches where made, what did you chose?
30% dmg -15%shield OR 30 % shield - 7.5% dmg ?
There are a lot of choiches who remove the specular path.
Don't worry. I hate p2w too! So it's in-game shoppable items are not game-breaking neither mandatory.
Btw for close upgrade you get the maximum value if you shoot in the face, this value diminished the further you are from the target, removing the bonus if the enemy is at the very top and you are at the very bottom.

You know , I always enjoy running from the bottom all the way to the top so my bullets could get together and hit an enemy with a super shot!

Fun game. Thank you for not making me pick up coins. Seems like "pick your poison" upgrades are the new thing and I like it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game runs at insane speed until I get a powerup, then it goes to normal speed. This makes the boss impossible - I instantly die before I can get a powerup and slow things down.
Apart from that, good concept, the basic addictive loop of fight, die, upgrade, repeat is there and I like the powerup system and how consecutive upgrades have different effects.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ice orbs bug and game unplayable after 140 levels not sure if one is supposed to get that far too btw. Great game btw good addition for the right click mouse movement made the game less clunky
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game. One problem though, if you get hit by an ice bullet after its effect is over you start going faster and faster for each time you got hit by one.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Interesting, but it really loses steam after you've played for a short amount of time. The upgrades become boring and linear, and the boss is the exact same.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So I understand wanting to skip easier waves after being upgraded. However, this means that you've also lost the opportunity to collect upgrades during those early levels. This is a bit frustrating when you make your way to a level with a bunch of upgrades and then get thrown right back up to that level with like 2.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is excellent. The mouse response is crisp and the hitbox is well-sized. The bullet hell heats up at a suitable pace, and the learning curve does not resemble Mount Everest. The dual upgrade system is sweet.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very short, but kinda fun. Games like this always need a Hitbox in my opinion though, and it appears that this one is way too big from what I've seen. Choosing an Upgrade ingame is currently pretty bad since you jump right back into action and especially on the later levels, get hurt almost every single time. I'd suggest 1-2 seconds of invulnerability or a short timer of 1-2 seconds to prepare yourself. I'm not a fan of the current Upgrades mid-flight, since it's kinda luck dependent and you seemingly lose one option if you choose the other (for example + X % damage to near or far targets).
I love the small invulnerability idea!
The randomness of the upgrade is made to make the game kinda replayable, or at least i hope so. But you're right, when you chose a path it will remove the specular choiche.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't like the last "upgrades" you get when you fly, because you're forced to sacrifice either shields or damage in the end. What kind of an upgrade is it anyways if I lose some stats?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So normally I'm not a fan of obvious mobile ports and I think that's probably a large part of the kong community. Typically it forces a weird resolution for many users ex its so long I can't display the full screen w/out shrinking the game window. I'd consider at least adding support for resolution and possible pc mode w/ full window. Gameplay was good enough for me to be supportive. Didn't see mouse control option until after starting this review, might want to make it a pop up choice on controls. Many won't see it in updates, combined w/ mobile resolution and 2 strikes is enough for many to leave. Just my 2 cents
Well...It's not a mobile a mobile port, it's just a bullet hell like many others.
I'm sorry but the game works fine even on laptop with at least 1076x768 resolution. But if you have problems the browser have the possibility to scale the content with ctrl+mouse well.
I'll add an in-game pop-up saying the controls.

Feel a bit bad for all I said was changes to be made in the game. Great job with the game and like the other ones that you made as well. I'm most into the upgrade games and this and your others are great. Great Job. ☻☺ (two smiley faces)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
an example for laser separation? um ok... like laser one is in the middle, so laser two would be to the right of laser one, then laser three would be to the left of laser one.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One thing I don't like is when you level up to get the laser upgrade and get the laser upgrade in the game, it says something like 'have 1 laser beam'. If you already have the laser beam, when you get the laser upgrade, you should get another beam with a total of 2 and etc. However, it just seems like the in battle upgrades don't stack. Also I think there should be a setting change since I have my mouse set left handed. I have to quickly chose an upgrade and quickly move my hand back to the WSAD formation and try not to get hit (is a pain with you get further in the game). Finally, when I beat the 1 boss and upgrade my damage, I should be able to kill certain enemies with 1 hit. However that isn't the case. Is that on purpose?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
By the time I get done with all my upgrades my shield is back to like 50. Always favoring the damage/speed over defense. Also, the laser boost works, even though visually it looks the same. Best boost is always extra bullets. Get one good run with full bullets and you'll blast straight through to level 50+ and get tons of money to upgrade everything. Nice game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Two things. One, maybe a pause button or a 'press P' would be nice instead of clicking the sac on the bottom corner. Second was I'm not sure if the game has it or not (maybe not far enough) but maybe the ability to fire backwards or diagonally backwards would be great. Therefore we can maneuver around and still hit the enemy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
enemies being able to fire backwards not so great, those homing missiles especially, the enemy was off screen for 30 seconds then its missile snuck up on me? The mouse controls need to fixed so mouse moves ship without holding click.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i think the problem late game with the lag is memory allocation or dumping, when i start the game i have about 30% memory taken up, after about 20 minutes however i got up to about 60% which is a drastic jump on my computer, idk quite how to handle it myself but that could be the cause of the lag issue for me and other players
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, I like this. A couple of points:
1) It'd be great if the mouse could be captured naturally when the game has focus, without having to hold left-click all the time.
2) The "Wave reached" table appears to be either bugged, or it's really unclear how to get on it? I'm fairly sure I've reached Wave 40+.
3) Maybe have both the "Go to Boss" and "Upgrade" options show on the post-game menu, both when playing standard and boss modes. I was bugged that, after a game, I had to choose between buying upgrades or fighting the boss, and didn't realise until I was done that you could always choose at the main menu.
4) Big lag late in the game. Obviously difficult with many enemies, but seems to specifically happen when the player has 8 extra bullets.
GZ for the boss kill.
1- I'll do it!
2-I reuploaded a game a bunch of minutes a go with the stat. W
hen you'll reload it it will correctly send the wave score.
3- I'll do it!
4-I'll look into it. Personally i never gone so far so i didn't know!
