This game has to be one of my favorites! After spending hours playing this game, I wish the game was longer. You eventually get to a point where you don't have as much as options to upgrade yourself.

While game is attracting, it tends to overrely on grinding to proceed. In non-boss levels, after a while enemies start to shot too much to dodge everything - in fact the only wy to proceed is to maximize your DPS and obliterate everything before it can shoot. That, in fact, allows to cheese through all foes except largest one (that fires orange bullets that you will never get hit by).
Boss requires totally other approach, getting defencive upgrades; once again you can't dodge everything, but shields allow to negate that by sheer shields power. Getting DPS here is barely useful, as it will make boss to go to harder phase with you collecting less upgrades by that moment. So it looks like boss fight and non-boss level are two games badly tied into one.
All in all, game doesn't require as much skill as it requires you to grind levels to get moar money that allow you to grind better... It even has pay2win content like other pay2win browser games. Not a best impression

Oh.. using the keyboard, the freezing blue bullets sets you at like 5-10% movespeed.. But using the mouse it's just slight slow that lets you move at like 60% ôo

it started out really great, and I was happy with the different options of upgrades, but then I easily beat the boss and discovered the incremental upgrades and got really disappointed

Looks nice at the start but gets bad quickly.
First of all, certain upgrades silenty block other uogrades from being picked, for example you can't pick "more damage up close" and more damage far away" in the same run.
Second, skipping easy waves means losing out on power ups.
Thrid, upgrades from power ups max out really soon, so after wave 80-100 the only way to go forward is to grind puny +5% dmg upgrades.
The game also plays in a tiny window and offers some frankly ridiculous real money purchases.

love the honesty here.. dev responds to earlier comment and says its not a mobile port yet its available in the playstore mobile market...and we wonder why kong is going to shit...also, if your resolution looks like its meant for a phone, really stupid to lie and say its not
It was made for kongregate. After 3 week was released on google store. where you can se it have 10 downloads or so? I'm just letting people who enjoy it play on mobile. I don't support mobile development.
Actually in the top 50 players there aren't spenders. So don't worry it's not pay to win. The shop upgrade may seem huge but at some point it's all based on skill! I hate P2W games too, so i care a lot about this aspect.

I like it alot I wanted to give 5 stars but later I found that there are not enough upgrade levels and not enough different skills, if u can make up some more that would be great and u get 5 stars:D

Sad bought the Kred upgrade to get 5 Options after wave 65ish i only got 3 options because the game ran out of Upgrades. =/ Really wish the upgrades had more Tiers of lvl besides 2. maybe 4 to feel really powerfull, and add some companions. Dont waste Kreds lack of upgrades :/

I find the game a bit laggy on my side (So much so as to I can't play!)
Is there a way to decrease the particles, trail effects, and stars in the background in order to decrease lag?

Game is almost all black for me except other ships and planets in background, Ive noticed that this black out bug has been happening in a few other new games on Kong, so im not sure if its the games fault...

Playing on the latest version of Chrome, everything up to date. I can't see my ship, or enemy fire. Kinda makes it tough to play...

To follow up on my own post, the reason I say Base Damage Stat should be on screen is because all the other upgrades are obvious/tangible: increased health, increased shield, additional weapons, etc. But all those tied to base damage don't really have a reference except to DPS, which is only shown in the menu screen:
+Dmg IF far away
+Dmg IF near
+Dmg IF High HP
+Dmg IF Low HP
+Dmg IF Shields offline
+Dmg -Shield
+Shield -Dmg
+Dmg
Now of course, only the last three would directly change the base damage, but at least by having it displayed, you give the player some reference. Damage increased up to 35% means nothing to me if I can't know 35% of WHAT.

Great game - my biggest suggestion would be this: Label which is health and which is shield (even just a small simple icon) and add the Base Damage Stat on screen so player can see the increase when they pick those upgrades.

More (preferably insane) powerups! (please!).
Great game although I feel a little cheated when I max out collectable powerups.
If you happen to go completely insane and make more and more insane powerups I will love you like a mobster loves stooges.

That 10th boss wave is ridiculously harder than the 9th, I feel like the green spread attack is far too overwhelming, it feels like there are points where there is no possible way to avoid any projectiles. I wouldn't mind if the attack worked it's way up to more spread, but halving the number of projectiles and then steadily increasing it every level would be 100% better. Great game though, I've enjoyed it!

Great game, but I feel as if the size the of the ship should be reduced since in later waves you're forced to tank shots instead of making tight dodges.

Please, Please fix the boss purple projectiles so they dont go invisible anymore =_= I cant for the life of me imagine why that would be intentional

Interesting games, but it feels of that during wave mode there are no bosses, and that after some time your fully upgraded during this wave mode.
Would love to see endless upgrades, but each cost more "tokens" (aka all first is 1, than all 2nd 2 etc)
and ofcoarse more bosses (preferable after each X waves).

3/5 - This should be a bullethell, it's too basic at the monent. Why cut the upgrades after so many waves? Give us the ability to keep on picking an upgrade, i'd love to see 10 laser shots and +24 bullets, and perhaps frag rockets, or flag cannons that fragment killed targets to hit other targets. Make level 500 a possible goal after 5 hours. pump up those numbers!

@Fistoz It appears that the circles will heavily damage you when they are red, and can safely be disarmed via touching them when they are green. I'm not sure if they have any other effects.
