I'm at 158/280 and it's really looking like I will need to clear some of if not all of the purple plants, but with 14 days left I have plenty of time. All this 1 click plant, build, finish it is getting a bit tedious tho. Really wish there was a do not ask again option like there is with selling.

Does anyone know just how much of march island you need to clear? I've been avoiding the purple items since they take more the 2-3 energy to clear, but if I have to clear them and the trees anyways I can stop zig zagging around them.

I like that know the game says who can receive a gift. I wanted to give gift to friends in the past, but everytime I checked someone, the game didn't let me give a gift to the person. Now I have no excuse

@chzufmets you need to repair the bridge and make machetes and finish the mask collection. Once you complete the collection you get one spice pack

@ssstark hacking rocks on friend's islands doesn't help to mine them, the friends get only 1 shell. It's not like when hacking at trees where the friends gets 1 wood each. Is there any point to working on rocks on other's islands, since it takes 3 energy to effect a rock when you do it on your own?

There is a main quest called Rhubarb snacks - it requires "Cinnamon and other things" 0/3 - it says "get spice packs" but when I get spices from harvesting on friends islands it does not complete. It costs 14 gems to complete this - can anyone tell me how it's supposed to be completed other than using the gems to auto-complete it?

@Wernisch, you have to add people as friends on kong for them to appear in game, if they play/played in last 30 days.

A quick fix against energy waste: when you login, check your energy level AND your experience bar. If the experience bar is too high, go fishing with the net: quick use of energy in a very short amount of time. You can use the net 3 times before the experience for the actions kick in. Hope it helps.

every action shows how much exp you get, you can easily time it to not lose energy, gets easier with more max. if you played mergest you know the comparison is dishonest, mergest is 1000x worse don't give them ideas :p

aaaaaaa00000, looks like your sh** out of luck, and by luck I mean a victim of the usual predatory f*** you methods they put in to games with things like that. It's purposely meant to be that way, like YouTube slapping a decent sized box offering YouTube premium... RIGHT on top of the play/pause button, there and only right there... right when the video starts playing. Another example I saw was Mergest Kingdom, where all other buttons to buy things are rationally sized, except the one to spend rubies, the "special currency", one click on that on the map and they're gone for good, and that button is oversized AND takes up space on the two spaces on either side. That makes accidentally clicking it more likely, but then that's how the Chinese-made company designed it (based in Singapore).

@sdrc, you click on the Move button, which is the green cross next to the Rotate button in the bottom right of the screen, then click on the Judge.

how do i get cunning hooks to get to move around the stadium island? I'm just stuck in the starting position, and I can't get to Judge Norbert because of all the underground core.

Bears blink and if my friend has +30 of them on their island it almost crashes the game. Maybe remove the constant blinking from them

So I'm doing the skyscraper event. I assumed the bonus tasks were for building past towers to come up short on the skyscraper without them. So did I miss something or do I need to power through all those animal/bee again to complete this.

OMG MAKE MORE EXCESS ENERGY, THAT'S F-ING RIDICULOUS!!! I've lost track of how many times I've lost hours worth of energy because it only retains about 1/3 the excess amount when levelling up when you're at maximum energy. It's already bad enough that this is a literal waiting game, and on top of that, it takes FIVE whole minutes for ONE energy (literally the worst of all energy system games), but then you have the balls to make it waste energy like this? You know what you did; you had to choose to program it like that. I was at full, levelled up after one action and lost 17 energy by only getting 39 of 28. That's over an HOUR AND A HALF worth of energy wasted! There's NO excuse for it.

I prefer to send items that are nedeed the most, especially the ones who takes energy for making it - energy u can use to do something else. But, ehi, it's me trying to be helpful. W/o hints, i try to send my gift observing the stage of the water well ( it's telling ) and after, it's mostrly gasoline if i dont know waht the player need.

You are assuming I am anywhere near needing Stone Bricks, which I am not. I'm at clay level, so clay is king. I do not even know what you mean by "fire oil".

I am in the bricks/planks camp, and also enjoy machetes. Ropes are decent, but not guaranteed with the current seasonal gift.
Bricks and planks saves energy, as I would otherwise have to craft them myself.
I don't want to have to keep changing my profile picture for one game, but I appreciate it when others do - it does make it easier.

I usually prefer to receive the seasonal free gift (such as Christmas candy currently), especially if it's something that gives energy (or ropes), so that's also what I usually send, but I really don't care, anything is welcome, and I assume that's the case also with the majority of others who don't put it in profile picture, we just play this casually and don't care.

@HEZYA I understand your need to venting, this game can be frustrating sometimes. And for gifts if there is no hint in the profil pics, than you can send planks or clay bricks. This is always needed in the game and you don't need to guess. I hope you keep having fun with the game.

1- Boys, it's hard to give you free gift if there is no hint in your profile picture. I'm trying to guess what you can need.
2- The fact that i can spam out up to 300 gifts but can receive only 20 is making me nuts!

@CrimsonCat87, don't focus on the 150 grown meerkats quest, you'll complete it by doing main quests. And don't bother with the 5 meerkat daily quest, rewards are not worth the effort.

Raising Meerkats is tedious, but I did it(!), I finished the quest to sell 50 full-grown Meerkats!

No confirmation for rushing things either. The POV and layering without confirmations makes so many things tedious and easy to mess up and of course there's no undoing things like that. Enough QOL problems make this game really hard to want to play long-term.

@Sir_Jelle, you need to join the Kongregate discord server first, then search for the oceania-chat. For the portal, I think it's located in the 'Crown' tab/section of you backpack after you have completed the quest 'Apply the Blueprint'. Sometimes the game glitches and I can see and interact with items that are hidden by larger items (for example the wild piglets hidden by the rubber trees). Does anyone know how I can purposefully make this glitch happen?
