Ok, so this event start with waiting for the bubbles on the F island, max 2 at the same time i guess. Then we will also need some raddish to buy that thing, but the quest didnt specify it needs to be a fully grown .... They have the same name, okay?! After collecting 9 different pieces without the clear logo on top of every thing(some do some dont), we build that castle. And then we need 3 missions with 3 different decorations, which each needs 3 currency, which takes the 9 different things to trade in "collection" 8 of them cost 1 energy by harvest the 8 different things on the island, the cocktail is not shown anywhere but is obtained by growing that animal and sell its grown up(fed it every 15 minutes for 3 times will give u 3 cocktails. ) So 9 energy for 9 collection, x3, 10, that is 270 energy for 1 mission, we have 3 of them, so 810 energy. 5minutes to regen 1 energy, so 4050minutes, 67.5hours, which is only 2.8125 days, totally doable within the time limit, right?!

@Terastas One more tip - if your animal is sick, just wait till your friends help hungry animals of the same type, switch the helped and the sick animals, accept help and it will be both cured and fed.

SuperDos - it is not an in-game thing. You need to create your own image and then go into your Kong profile and change it there.

Everyone, there are two things you need to know about sick animals. #1: If somebody helped out by feeding them but they were sick by the time you were able to get back on again, accepting the help will remove the sickness. And #2: Sick animals can be sold. It'll be at a financial loss, but med kits are not easy to come by in this game, so unless it's something irreplaceable(?) like the lion or penguin, nobody's going to spend one for you, and taking that loss is a lot better than having an island full of sick animals that make everyone think you've quit the game so they only "help" with the big rocks when they visit you.

Thank you all for the replies. I am starting with just growing some wallabies. I don't often see windmills that I can harvest but I will definitely keep an eye out for those as I have plenty of wheat and oil.
@scribblejucie I do not know how I am supposed to gain reputation from half of the things that you mentioned. It seems like you copied a list from somewhere. If so, can you please provide the link for me so I can get more information?

Remember to check the specific mechanics and features of the game you're playing, as different games may have unique ways to earn reputation. Additionally, keep an eye on any updates or changes to the game that may introduce new reputation-earning opportunities.

I'm trying to make the Tool Box and I am going to need 600 more reputation to be able to finish it. I can't keep placing Wise Owls so what do people recommend for building a lot of reputation? Should I raise and sell 100 platypi or try to do Iron Man quests or is there something else I am overlooking?

The worst part about people doubling up on "yellow halo" tasks is that I don't even know which one of the two people who did the exact same thing is the idiot. I know some things can be done more than once (well, clay pit, etc.) so it shouldn't be straight-up prohibition from redundant clicking, but maybe consider something a little more visible and informative? Like a number that pops up when you highlight something showing how many other guests have already done it?

Because the best de-fence is ... no, wait ... because going on the of-fencive ... no, wait ... Take the plank out of your own eye.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Tip for newcommers: when you visit a friend's island and their crops/animals are surrounded by a yellow aura it means that somebody already helped with those crops/animals. Find something else. Chopping trees is always okay, even if they are yellowish. Beehives, wells, claypits etc. have 5 or more "charges", but anthill only 1. Make your friends happy and they will help you too.

Wow! Really boring and dumb waste of time. Game is geared exclusively toward getting money out of dopey folks. Capitalism at it's most disgusting!

One suggestion for a new building would be "Museum," where you could store unique items (one each) ... and still keep the reputation. That could help reduce clutter a bit.

I've successfully fed my lambs for the third time and reached the 3rd star. I've also purchased 18 cats, 18 ducks, and 18 hedgehogs simultaneously. Additionally, I made sure to acquire 18 straw bundles, 18 boots, 18 sea gudgeons, 18 ocean salmons, 18 twig tables for the 8th event's quest, and 18 wooden troughs for the 9th event quest. Everything is set for the upcoming events! Appreciate the advice."

reminder for winter event quests and reward overview: https://oceania-game.fandom.com/wiki/Winter_Event_2023
The quests are completable once you have meerkats unlocked, but much easier after completing colossus.
animal order (18 each): rabbit - chicken - Koalas - Roosters - pigs - sheep - cats - ducks - hedgehogs - meercats - platypus - goats
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh man, I started on the winter event and realised I don't have access to meerkats yet. Wiki says I need to build a clay pit first, and the base of the colossus. That's gonna set me back quite a lot, even though starting the event quest chain only requires the completion of the shovel. This is a little bit disappointing ngl.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Confirmed. You don't get see a count, but you are making progress. Also, on the twig fences, it's complete fences, not incomplete.

@berzerker2: Is it popping up the "Goal is closer" message? I sold 18 of each and, for the first 17, that message was the only hint at it making progress. Then I sold the 18th and got the reward.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Berzerker2 -- Have you sold the total number needed? (e.g., 18 sand paths) For these types of quests, it won't give you a running number until you meet the goal.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, it's not a lot really -- only 130 shells. Seems a little anticlimactic. I'll probably sell it soon since it's just taking up space and food.

I think I got a toucan as a gift somewhere. Anyway, now that it's grown, is there any reason to keep it around? It doesn't provide much of a benefit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I thought the saw and net would provide a better way to chop wood / fish, but all it does basically is save you clicks. That should be an inbuilt feature and not something you have to collect. If it's collectable it should at least give you a discount on energy used or a bonus on resources gathered

@Scribblejucie Why you yourself don't add others to friends? I added you on 29th November and wrote a message, but you didn't add back :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@murblub if your friends helped you with crops before they withered, you can still get them by simply accepting friends' help. Same about animals.

I just got " ERROR LOAD_IO_ERROR" message now. God thing my crops are gonna be spoiled by the time this works again...
