4/5. Fun. No noticeable glitches. Needs longer music track. So far 2nd place for buried treasure, beat by cirplosion.

actually, the name "jumpcat" reminds me of lolcats. if it's intended, then it's quite sensible to not make any sense.

I actually like this one a bit. It's 'average', but definately better than some (particularly the dog one). The power-up mechanic does add a bit of skill-requirement to this kind of game, where the randomness can hurt you, but you can still overcome it with good control. Not a Sonny or Last Stand, but a pretty good Skill/Arcade flash.

cool concept but something about it just seems unfair... i don't know if the obstacles are to big or if i'm too lazy to accurately not over jump the little rocks... either way i'm not fond of greg's choice today

the combo of rock, bombs, and freaking bird in a tree is far too harsh... I lost three lives in a second. Bombs sometimes seem to drop really fast

Decent game, but the combo system limits its potential. The game might as well end after one life. If the combo was cut in half instead of reset on death, and/or the difficulty reduced slightly after a death, I would rate this a 4/5, but as it stands it gets a 3. A 5 would require more complex gameplay - perhaps different stages, powerups, etc. Still, decent game, certainly one of the highlights of Buried Treasure Week.

Dude! You just completed the Frisky Feline achievement in Jumpcat and won the Frisky Feline badge and 30 points!
first try lol

Wtf is the concept? A cat's running around with jagged rocks sticking out and boulder trying to roll over it and a birds nest's laying around and an f'in missile carrier dropping bombs on a cat. If i'm not mistaken, that makes NO SENSE.

i wouldn't say it's too bad except that it keeps suddenly freezing out of nowhere and sometimes i lose 2 lives before it unfreezes...

People saying they get the hard badge (40000) at first try... others can't get past 7000... me, I had to play a lot to get to 20000.. but honestly, putting all the effort I can, 40000 is impossible! So I guess it depends on the PC speed?? could it be? I mean ppl scoring 40k at first try have a very slow PC.. then the faster the PC the harder the game.. editundo: can you doublecheck that?

Not bad, but not great. The combo system is a little broken though - since your combo is broken when you die, and since once you die the first time, you're likely to die soon thereafter as the difficulty doesn't drop, the only way to do well is to have a long initial run.

In-depth review of this game;
First of all, the song is repetitive as hell. For the 30+ minutes that I spent getting the hard badge, I had to hear the same "boop-beep-boop-beep" crap over and over again. Also, what made me really mad about this game is the obstacles. OHAY I IS JUMPING A TREE. OHAY I IS JUMPING A TALLER TREE. OHAY I IS TRYING TO JUMP A ROCK WHILE AVOIDING A BOULDER AND A HELICOPTER. I think people get my point on this subject.
One more thing; the boulders look like meatballs. Oh, and the green helicopter, tree/bird combo, and the nuke thing, are pretty unfair obstacles. Those were the three main things that made me spent 30+ minutes on getting that hard badge.
editundo, I is wanting my 30+ minutes of my crappy life back, kthnxbai.
Still 1/5.
