As others have pointed out, needing to opt-out of hints is a bad design, worsened by the option being hidden. But if I understand correctly, even with hints turned on, one only gets a hint after they make a mistake. So if a star is awarded for no mistakes, it's impossible for a hint to have been used. Simply awarding 2-stars for a perfect play regardless of setting would pretty much solve the entire issue.

Im p sure on level 24 there's 2 solutiosn if, on the "number 4" you swap the blue 7 and white 8 around in the same column
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nice brain squeeze :) I would appreciate having two separate lists of blue and white numbers, and the ability to flag them as "taken", if you already know that they will be used in some tiles (but don't know yet where specifically). I hope that made sense

Quite difficult, but beat all the puzzles. Please make the marker more convenient.
+There isn't any multiple solution in this game. If you think so, drink water and try again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For people who say "2 solutions but only one counts": its very likely that one of solutions has two of same number in same column/row, which makes solution wrong. Its so easy to overlook especailly if you disable tips. For level X: once phase 1/2 is complete tiles with numbers now have permanent numbers in them

Really interesting and fun game. I agree with others that the controls can be a bit difficult, and the star for mistakes isn't a great choice, but overall I think the game is great. If you make a few edits, I think it can be 5/5. As is, 4/5. Thanks for making it!

Hi, there is a problem with the level X, 2 times i solved the second part of the problem with 2 differents way and nothing happened
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Enjoyed the game but it has some clunky controls to it - also I felt like the bonus level was confusing for what numbers mattered as the level progressed... sums that didn't count should disappear.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not sure what i do wrong, but 1 star is the max i get per map, even after disabling the hints option of that i thought would be off on default as it did nothing and solving the level without errors.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game itself is definitely 6/5 stars. However, keyboard shortcuts for laptop users would be appreciated. Also, the star system is basically just solving the puzzleignoring the system and then remembering where you placed some key numbers. The final tally is 4/5 (-0.5 for the first, 1.5 for the second)

REALLY good & challenging puzzle, needs some improvement:What I would improve:(1)Don't have hints enabled by default if you award a star for not using them.(2)Check the ans when player is done, rather than penalize for an errors which could be accidental.(3)Notation is v useful, but doesn't make sense to have it in a separate mode. I would prefer to already have the notation as part of the main game, then when you have eliminated all the possibilities & leave one "note" tile in each square, allow player to hit "finish" to check the ans+don't allow player to finish unless there is 1 tile in every square. It feels clumsy to switch back & forth betw main & notation modes - the player finds v quickly that there is no point in main mode, cos you can easily get penalized for making a "mistake".(4) It feels tedious to keep dragging the eraser icon to delete notes. Maybe allow hotkeys to toggle on/off. ____What I liked(1) Good tutorial(2)Nice music & effects+can be adjusted.

The two improvements I would like to see in note mode are:
The ability to copy the contents of one cell into another, (e.g. I know the cells of this row contain B1,B4,W2,W8 but nothing about their order so I'll fill one that way and copy it into the rest).
The ability to mark a number as accounted for, (e.g. I know this row has a W7, so mark it as used and... OK, no more are left now).

Dunno what Logswag is talking about; the first stage definitely has exactly one solution, and I was able to get through the remaining two stages without any trial and error. Maybe it's just that they didn't like the lack of note-taking mode? Frankly, I did miss that at first until I realized how easy a level it was.

Level x sucks. There are several solutions for the first and second stages that work perfectly well, but you have to get a specific one, meaning you have to keep trying different solutions, and i dont want to solve the puzzle three more times after ive already solved it without any way to know whether im doing the right thing. Puzzles should be solved logically, not guessing.

Hack to get around the mistake star: Figure everything out in the NOTEPAD first! You aren't penalized for wrong moves there! Tip for dev: You need to add to your instructions that only the orange and green sum numbers INCLUDE the black numbers, whereas blue and white does not. I wasted so much time trying to sum up the black numbers in the beginning. Also, there were at least two levels where I could put the last two numbers in two different spots-Like they fit in both places.

Bad kenken with some really obvious mistakes for design.
I really am glad you made it, but I feel you're missing the opportunity to make puzzles more horizontally complicated rather than adding more rules and limitations
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So what is the logic in level X? we're supposed to try out every possible combinantion untill it kicks in to expand level? Thats a bad thing, took you 1 star from score for it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Puzzles are interesting, but stars are not. Especially as solving puzzle then filling it "without hints" does not require much effort.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
really enjoyed this. game. Calm, peaceful, fitting music. Feels a lot like enhanced sudoku, especially without hints.Wish more games were like this!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
okay, after the 1st level got no star, and u tell me to disable this, disable that, fine, got over with that.
but the reaction time of the game is too slow, make me fell asleep while waiting for the effect to go off in order to press another button is just bad, can't understand why there are delays between moving the numbers, and after clearing the level, need to wait for the star to come out completely in order to go to the next level is just bad.
if u can, make the star visible on level, let us know if we have failed to get the star and restart without waiting

I am getting really bad lag on this game, which is a shame because I really like the puzzles, nice sudoku-ish variation

problem, lvl 20: I can change places with blue 1 and 4 on a left side) - however, when 1 is up, and 4 is down it is correct. there are no additional clues, so the opposite placement should be correct.

Why the fxxk is the a star for no mistake? I accidentally drag a number to the wrong tile and I have to start all over again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's a bug on level X 2nd part. Everything was correct but 3rd still didn't shown. I had to switch the W0 and W2 and it worked.....Thanks to a previous comment about the solution i wouldn,t have guessed since everything worked...

This is it. Hard badge with all levels done without "print and redo", most of them (including level 28) with no mistakes on first solution. It is possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Très bon puzzle. Même si le fait de ne pas avoir droit de faire d'erreur oblige à le refaire après un screen, mais ce n'est pas très gênant.

@quizzzzzzz
White 3 isn't possible since there's both a white and blue 3. Putting white 3 in the middle makes it impossible for the blue 3 to be placed.

Excellent puzzle logic game. Name kinda a bit on the nose XD
Difficulty and new concepts built up a good pace. Level X was clever, though not being able to take notes AND not actually explaining the mechanic used there was a bit annoying.
I agree with the other comments that having something that counts against you (the hints) turned on by default isn't really good game design. But otherwise, overall, excellent game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
HATE the hints being defaulted to on. I hadn't even used them for 15 levels and now I have to go back and redo. Has ruined this game for me...
