It would be nice if items were automatically equipped when purchased. Not a huge deal, but I had to go back to equip things a few, partially my fault as well though.

Staff is the way to go. Get exp boost on staff asap. As soon as you have that, get soul bonus from dagger tree. As you have both maxed - it will take you around 5-10 more runs for full completion. Have fun :).

Max the staff tree and get a little bit of the earth for def and hp. You can also get enough fire for the speed and soul gain bonuses. Get the max staff, the max +staff damage brace, and the max +hp, +def, +regen, and +speed rings. Then just spam attacks on the minions (and boss if he gets a bit too close) and use tidal wave every time it comes up. You'll mostly be running around, but it'll kill the boss eventually. If boss is too close, run past him. He'll hit you once, but you can survive and regen from that. Later, he'll keep teleporting. Just keep running this way and that, and you'll be fine.

just realised that you cant get multiple achievements at once. you get your first achievement that you unlocked, and when its time to get your reward for the second one, your game just crashes and it shows the black screen and i need to reload it again. the worst thing is, after reloading the game, you wont get the souls that you SHOULD get after completing that achievement.

The staff is by far the best weapon class. It's the only thing that can easily hit flying enemies and the boss, which are the hardest things to damage. Once you have the pierce skill, it's completely OP. The problem is that there's no respec for skill points.

So I can't help but notice that knockback doesn't actually seem to do anything if the enemy begins their attack animation. They hit anyway.

Trying hard to like this game, but it's far too hard overall. Not being able to use skill trees or respec also hurts, plus costs feel too high to make any real progress early. Un-killable mobs seem to spawn far too fast early on.

Not having a way to deal with enemy attacks beyond just wandering away or trucking them before they hit is pretty boring.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You seem to have a tuning issue. Enemies can attack you and damage you. But if you run through them, the damage grows at a ridiculous rate. You can pretty much lose most of your health if you run through one. If there's more than one, it's instadead. Not sure if that's intentional.

Can't kill flying ennemies and oh god that damage. Plus leveling up doesnt actually do much. Downvote to oblivion ._.

Not a bad game but you need to balance it.I just started and mobs started spamming in front of me or near me,if i am not a good player or a new one I can easily die here.I hate the fact that mobs spam near me even when i get better i get insta killed. There are billions of stuff that you need to include in your tutorial.Like wtf there was a moving statue stalking me O_O.Also there is no armor shop.I'd really like to customize my character to look cooler and for bigger defence. There are many things missng in this game. From these types of games i expect farming, getting pets, necromancer stuff. It's too short.I can see it as good art and lots of interesting things to ty out but lacks lenght and mystery.2/5 I am dissapointed. Also it has little amount of stuff to buy.1 weapon=5k then the other one 50k,third 170k,it doesn't add up.Not to mention the flyng mobs...

Should probably put that you can only use 1 ultimate skill per weapon, not have us figure it out after we already put 15 skill points into other categories.

Fun game but too short for my taste 4/5 =) would had liked for the final boss in this game to have been only the 1st boss, would like to see at least 10 bosses in part 2 with same system and more weps =)

Why is there a cooldown on jumping? It feels bad. Anyway, the balance of this game is horrible. I love the idea of this game, the story, everything is great except some minor control issues and balance. Sadly, those are really important things. I felt like I wasted a ton of time/points upgrading my dagger skills. The dagger barely does any more damage than the staff, yet the staff is incredibly more useful. Evasion maybe was useful at the end though but I ultimately just used the staff to win easily.

Strategy for boss:
1.Staff - keep range, shoot everything that moves. (Easy)
2.Great sword - work with your timing, gs has a better range than the boss. (Medium)
3.Daggers - Quick kill, just run around the boss while stabing him in the face. Run if hurt. But you must have a good regen, hp and evasion here.. 2 evasion braclets, 2 ev. rings, 1 hp ring and 1 regen ring worked for me well. (Hard)

The pacing in this game makes no sense. I can one shot most enemies but the boss takes like no damage and instant kills me...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yea, the flying enemies are the biggest nuisance. Once you invest skill points in regen and hp they arent much of an issue. And Speed ring helps a lot with catching them.

The initial dialogue alone won me over, but I can't help pointing out a few things. Combat could be a lot more fluid, for an action game - Attacks don't feel responsive enough to me (on both range, which seems displaced, and timing, specially with the greatsword), those flying enemies swooping down make me want to duck or double jump, and and staff is incredibly easier. Some other combat mechanics would be interesting, maybe a 1/2 damage auto-attack and have the key/mouse-click or combinations of those do different attacks.
Generally balance seems a bit off to me.
Also, why do you always start at the same level you "died" on.... but it's always outside when you go back?

The game is quite easy, but the staff is totally OP. Just focus on DPS. you will kill so fast that you will level up in no time and with enough money for HP and regen rings.

Well, it should have dealt 5600...that special. But it seems to be more like 2000?! Yet another bug, huh. Yeah...Dojo seems to be synonymous for a buggy game...Maybe they push for early release without any bug-testing.

As for the boss, it's not that difficult if you don't waste soul on every single weapon out there. A good weapon is staff. If you take care to not fall too low on health when you pass the boss (his area of attack is large) and you have high survivability (~3000HP and maxed regeneration and defense), then you can defeat him with good rate. Boosted special skill will work well as well...it's good free damage every second or two (up to 5600 damage per wave!).
Indeed, the biggest problem is with the weapons not being balanced, but then again, I have only the staff buffed with skills.

If you have problem with the flying enemies, you clearly are doing something wrong. They always fly above, then turn around on ground level. You can jump-attack them when they are above or ground-attack them when they are attacking. They also do not deal excessive damage...unless you keep following them. They continue dealing damage for as long as you stand on the same spot as them. Easy solution, stand in one spot or go the other way.

You get the option of free, unlimited long-range, piercing magic attacks. Choosing instead to swing a primitive piece of metal around must mean you really like making your life needlessly difficult. Seriously, the staff is so much easier than complaining about flying enemies or the boss, like people who obviously just took the wrong kind of weapon. Otherwise, generally it's a cute little game, despite spelling mistakes and things. Agreed on re-speccing the talent tree, though it should at least cost a lot of souls. Also, "Pseudo-Ninja" is definitely broken; not only does it count count sword swings rather than dagger (thus taking twice as long), but I'm at "1078/900" completion and it's still the only achievement I haven't been awarded.

Well i just finished the game and it was really fun and challenging. I found that if you hit a door just once, no flying creatures will spawn. Best grinding place for me - 3rd door. One hit and you will get some good xp and money from normal crawling creatures and giant fellas.

Damn , this game is good. Short but good :) With staff it can be completed without problems (melee weapon pretty useless against flying enemies). It would be great to be able to buy experience for money at the endgame(nowhere else to spend money but experience is still required).

Here are things that are a MUST for this game:Try to get a lot of health by adding points into survival training in terra skill tree.Get great swords to deal with flying enemies easier.Try to focus your special skills on the door instead of enemies.Hopefully some of these tips are going to be helpful.

Well, a teenage girl has super demonic powers and the source is the new ruler of the southern realm of the dead. I'm sure this won't be in any way a problem.
