Okay, key to solving this puzzle game is trial-and-error: variation and selection. Sometimes the solution is easier than the mind predicts. Nice game. I prefer different music though 4/5

@EPGstudios About the suggestion for being able to teleport between bases - a simple keyboard solution would be to assign a number/letter to each base and one would only need to hit that key to go there.
I already have a menu teleportation system in, which replaces the "return to base" system when you've visited all the bases. I think assigning each base to a number key would be confusing and inefficient, but thanks for the feedback.

Colorblind mode worked wonderfully. Thank you so much for the update! Now I just need to get good and finish the game lol

Tip (solution) for first star (5.5?):
keep 2 cats at upper right until you have cloned enough cats (through marking multiple flags and running out of steps).
That's what I get for using lossless audio, I guess? I'll try to include an MP3 codec into the next game. (Also heard from another person who thinks it might be a problem with Kongregate's servers or something.)

I often play Kongregate games when listening to something else, so a lot of times I have the tab on mute. When I finally unmuted this game because what I was listening to was over, I had an...interesting reaction when I heard what the music really was.

For 10,6: first get three cats in the bottom. Then line up the three cats vertically on top of the upper right flag. Then: LLLDDLURUDRULU
You can teleport by pressing Q. The teleportation is at first limited to returning to the last base you visited, but once you've visited all the bases, you can teleport to any of them.

I see all these praises, but its like I'm playing a different game.
I can't quit or go to a map, seen no stars, etc. I tired on both chrome and firefox.
The map screen is inaccessible until after you've beaten the tutorial. The "quit to ship" feature is locked as well. If you still can't open it, DM me with details.

I finally found a way to beat 7,8.
First of all you have to do 3L 4U 7L 2D L 2U L, then you just have to push the grey cat with the rocks in order to create lot of grey clones. Then you can use the clones to avoid spikes and finally win this level. Really cool game, 5/5

7.9 is actually pretty simple. 1st part: push the boulder to the downarrow block and then get on the ice so it pushes you. 2nd part: The objective is to put the 2 boulders one in the lower ice block and the other one below, so when the third boulder arrives it pushes you and the other 2 boulders. The tricky part is optimizing movement, understand that to rotate from the left flag to the right one you need to use the down flag.

7,9 is tricky. first go through 2 pink flags and put the block on the conveyor belt. this will push you over to the 2nd part by the 3rd pink flag. don't push the block left of pink flag but move to the left blue flag and move the block onto the ice. now use conveyor belt to go back to the pink flag and push the block left of you to the right so it moves around the conveyor belt. meanwhile you will go to the right blue flag and above the block pushing it down and left behind the 2nd block. now you will go up and use the flag to wait for the block on conveyor belt if you low on turns. when the block leaves the conveyor belt you should have moved atop the line of blocks and get pushed over the ice by the 3 blocks. sorry for bad english

Game not loading. From console: "HTTP load failed with status 404. Load of media resource https://game307540.konggames.com/gamez/0030/7540/live/sponsor.m4v failed." And all data loaded.
I'm sorry! I'm 99% sure I know why this is happening, and it's because I screwed something up. I'll fix it in an update. (I'm curious as to which browser you're on, could you DM me with details?)

Room 8,8
The cat reanimates at the last flag it touched. So touch a flag. Then consume your 5 moves. Repeat this for each consequent flag. This way you will be able to reach the horizontal duplicator below before the rocks come out. The use that duplicator to increase the number of your cats. But duplicate 1 then move the cat, so the rocks wont continue to split. Then duplicate other cats.

I'd like to be able to restart the ENTIRE room, so I don't have to go back to the base if I screw a setup up for a star.
In early story concepts, I thought about explanations for the limit (toxic gas, specially designed spacesuits), but none of those ideas made it into the final story.
You can quit to the menu and go back to the game to restart the level. (It's more of an abuse of the saving system than a feature). EDIT: room resetting is coming in the next update!

It's fairly straightforward until all of a sudden the difficulty level ramps WAY up really fast. Would be nice to have a hint function since I literally see no way to do things after noodling around trying different options for far too long. If you're going to make this hard, then have it be at least minimally challenging earlier on - I look for puzzle games that will make me think but not really break a sweat, and it's frustrating to get so far into one only to discover it's not actually the relaxing kind of puzzle game it appeared to be at first.

Glad this game still has over 4 stars as it deserves it. It is a somewhat difficult puzzle, it took me slightly over 2 hours to finish. I'm glad the score still seems to be mostly unaffected by halfwits downvoting :)

This game is a proof that simplicity does not imply in being easy or monotonous.
Perfect balance between challenge and possible solutions.
5/5!
Congratulations to the developer!

Idk if you intended it, but the visual tutorial for controlling multiple kitties at once was really creepy. Like, in a good way. Just walking down a corridor and seeing a second Steve mirror my movements reminded me of the SA-X in Metroid Fusion, and then the very next room having like 12 dead Kitties was just chilling. It was awesome. The whole game has an uneasy atmosphere and i loved it.
