This was a really good game. Kudos to the creators of the hit and honestly my favorite, "5 step steve". I seriously was trying to get everything to the point where i played with gloves and then without and then with the cuffs. And i was never bored or frustrated during it all. Thanks for the good experiences, and lets hope doggo is in a good place now..

Either way, phenomenal game that has the vibes of undertale but has a completely original premise and gimmick, as well as many clever twists on the core mechanic

Honestly, I feel like there should be more of a payoff to the game, the multiple mysteries are enough insentive to continue to play the game for a second or even third time, but honestly the green-key room felt bland, I think the book should be put to the side of the room or somewhere secret as a tidbit of lore, but solving just one unexplained phenomenon of this game would be enough for most people (and a secret ending wouldn't hurt)
Hmm... maybe you’re right about the “solve at least one phenomenon” thing. But... you can at least do something interesting with the green key (not the bookshelf, something else) that answers a question some people might have.

Nice job!, the Undertale influence is strong in this one :D. The typing challenges were very creative but I wished more of them were embedded with the story, regardless this deserves a higher ranking!

It does something that's very similar to Undertale. Present Tauriel like a creepy boss you have to beat, but in reality, she is actually a very nice teacher.

This game was honestly really great. I enjoyed it! The Undertale inspiration was pretty obvious in places, but that's really not a bad thing. The game was charming, fun, and unique! Thank you for making something like this. I hope to see more from you in the future.

A lot of unexplored lore and "alternate paths" for a very linear game... Also I believe "confront" is meant to be "comfort" in the final conversation.

In the room before the principal's office, a door says I must solve eight puzzles to open it. I do so, and return to the door, it says I must solve one more. I'm confused.
Did you miss a test somewhere? You need to solve every single test (not counting the first three and the competition) to open that one. If it still doesn't work, PM me with more details.

It seems like there's clues to a much deeper story going on here. The cryptic warnings in the typing challenges, CCTV monitoring, some of the books in the library, what little we learn about Tauriel's past, and of course the part where humans are a rarity (and the rest of your family are dogs)... I'm not sure whether I should play through the game five more times to piece everything together or just wait for Game Theory to do an episode on it.
I'm not sure if Game Theory would even be able to piece together a video that would A) have a satisfying, mind-blowing conclusion, and B) be rooted in the game itself. Mostly because it takes a lot of skill as a game developer to make a good mystery, and I'm not sure if I've really done that.
(A lot of this game is meant to be metaphorical, anyway, and Game Theory doesn't tend to go down the lore-as-metaphor route too much.)

i decided to not save before the prinicipal so i can do
the other monitors later turns out the game decided to auto save after the fight.
Yeah, sorry! You can turn off auto save in gameplay settings, but I should probably have mentioned that the game auto-saves. Will address in an update!

I have an idea, maybe there could be some website where you could make your own typing fight, and after some time, after making some overall, you can pick a fight and implement it in the game. also, you can make orange and cyan projectiles, ohohoh undertale
A fully featured level editor might be hard (I make all the tests via text files, even for the bullets. It's not the prettiest thing ever.). As cool as it would be, I think this game might be too niche for a level editor to be worth it. Also, not exactly sure if orange/cyan projectiles would make the game that much better (esp. since the movement is different in a way that might make orange/cyan worse than in Undertale.), but I'm sure I could think of something good within the concept of colored projectiles. Or colored text? hmm....
