boy if I had a nickel for every miss my "heroes" did, I'd be a very rich person. It's especially pleasant when fighting 5 monsters at one time and I need multiple hits to kill one of the monsters... so much fun...

Other issues: red chest top of 1st f11, no clue how to get it or its lootable (id assume it has smth to do w/ vine next to it but doesn't do anything). 2nd is more an xp issue, monsters arent respawning and Ive got a party of 20ish a 17, and 2 bench warmers at lvl 3 and 4. From an xp perspective, I don't want to divide limited xp so it kills any chance I would have/want to develop the other 2; 17 is the priest and maybe id include him w/ greater heal, but honestly 4 dps is prob the best bet
Soon you will unlock an item that gives xp to reserve party members. You were supposed to be able climb that vine so I will fix that with this next patch too.

secret room dragon king loading error: failed to load image...As far as the bird boss, was challenging at 1st (13 green crystal shards later...) The main challenge is our inability to use items to clear status effects on other chars than self, and as far as i can tell, they dont clear on their own; 1 stun or freeze and theyre useless the rest of the fight

I am now level 23, and since level 9, I have not gotten any new skill/spell... is this game designed to not give skills/spells upon level ups (not at all, or could these be purchased in the town later?)
This is majnly depending on what class you choose. If you picked something like a warrior you get weapon moves, but if you picked a mage you'll be learning a lot of spells as you're going. Glad to hear you liked the game! And also, just so you know most of the moves are coming in the next update, you will get to advance the class you picked and it will give you a huge variety of moves to learn as you level.

O gooosh, it took me 4 dungeon levels and x deaths, till I realize that I can hire 3 party members for free... Good game btw.

here are a couple of tips...#1 After you finish killing all the mobs on a level and you want to grind a bit more for gold/exp, go back to the beginning of the level and go back to town. All the mobs will be re-spawned (but not the chests). #2 You can regen hp/mana by moving around (warrior don't regen mana) this increases as your level increases. #3 You can use Ituri's heal spell out of combat even if she isn't in your main party and she will regen mana with tip #2 also. #4 If you didn't make an archer for your main character, you will find one on one of the floors, so you can make use of the dagger/bow combo. #5 As stated in a previous post you can duel weld with a 2-hander in your off hand, but the primary must be a 1 hander (only exception is the heavy mace) #6 As you get to higher floors go back to town and check the wep/armor/gem guys, there are 3 tiers of wep/armor/gems, save all strong gems you find for the 3rd tier weps/armor.

Great old school RPG! The interface is a little clunky, having to select and click everything each time. For equip, it would be nice to select weapon for one character, and display all weapons with ones they can't use in red or grey without having to reselect and reclick. I was wondering where my crossbow went; I had to look in inventory because no one could equip it.

I have spent 6 hours and just reached 7th floor. Too many mobs, too slow fighting. repeatitive fighting made me bored very soon. I will stop here until an update is made to speed up the fighting.

Way too many misses for a game like this... It's already a grind and the misses, especially after my weapons are all fully upgraded and characters are high level, just make it worse. The CD for the heal spell out of combat is next level stupid... why do this? To make me moves my characters five paces then heal again? The auto regen of hp/mp is good which makes the CD for the heal spell even more mind boggling. Anyways it's your game and I'm just playing in it.
I'm actually adding a plugin for just that. :). Next update will be fixing and adding a lot. Animations will be 50% faster when all said and done. Thanks for playing!

It's annoying how frequently attacks miss, not because it makes the battle more difficult but because it makes battles that already feel too slow take longer.

Please add auto save at the end of floors. I was enjoying and beat the 10th floor, and lost it all back down to the 5th floor.
I could have it open the save screen at the beginning of each floor do you think that would be enough? thank you for the input, and don't worry at least your score is submitted so either way you're still on the board.

Correction to my earlier bug. I was instakilling that magic slime by the time I ran into the bug, so I didn't notice this: it isn't until the beast dies. It's simply the first round. Because the next two rounds of the ogre battle defaulted to the wraith I actually wanted to kill.

Got a bug for you. I think it started on floor 3, but I'm not sure exactly. In battles with two magic slimes and two bats, while Magic Slime B was alive, you could only choose to attack it. Now, on whatever floor I'm on now, (4 or 5), I'm running into the same problem in a battle with an ogre, a wraith, and a bat. I can't get rid of the lesser beasts before taking on the ogre. It will only let me take on the ogre. That said, nice game. Echoes of Enchanted Cave.
actually, I bet I know what happened. When playing you can either use the mouse or the keyboard, if you have the mouse hovered over a target even if you hit the arrowkeys it wont change the target. Try moving the mouse off screen if you prefer keyboard. let me know if that fixes it.

Revive potions dont work. Used one in combat, it took it out of my inventory, but didnt revive the character, tried it in the dungeon and in town, didnt take one out of my inventory or revive the character. Had to rest at the inn. Also, the only 1H weapon at works with shields are maces, axes and swords automatically switch the offhand option to another weapon

1. My Priest leader doesn't know Heal spell that Priest companion (Ituri) does.
2. Can't repeatedly cast Heal out of combat as it has 1 CoolDown (CD); sometimes moving a few squares is enough.
3. Please document class "perks": so far, Priest may reflect Magic Blasts from Magic Slime, and Warrior may counterattack physical attacks. Both Priest & Warrior get small HP regen each round, but may be from equipped Power and Magic gems.
4. Heal spell may do under 100 HP while in combat, contrary to description.
5. When buying items in shops, can't get arrows to change quantity even with plenty of gold; must buy everything 1 at a time.
6. Undocumented procedure for attaching magic gems: Items, select equipment piece, Upgrade.
7. Gems in shop don't show stats when selected: Power is Attack +6 & Matk +2, Health has no visible effect, Magic is +4 Matk, Protection is +4 Def & Mdef, assume Weak and Strong versions are just multipliers of these.

i dont know if this is a glitch, or not. but if you equip 2 one handed weapons, and then swap the first hand with a 2 hand weapon, the second hand keeps the item equiped to it. for instance, take Ituri, give her 2 wands, then swap the first hand with a staff, she now has a wand and a staff equiped. give arthure 2 swords, then give him back his claymore, he now has a claymore, and a sword.

Would be great if floors were more like the spacious ones around floor 7-9 as you could avoid fights if you can when you already feel overpowered. Needs more convenient ways to attack all enemies to keep battles less of a drag, hitting groups of fives with attacks that only hit one at a time when you can easily beat them slows the game down a lot. I could probably beat floor 10 just around lv5-lv10 but was forced to fight so many battles.

Maybe it's just my computer, but this game drains a lot of memory after a little while, and starts registering 1 button input as 2 or 3 :(

I play rpgmaker games fairly often, and I think the common thing between all of the ones that I like is that the turns need to go fast. Attack animations need to be halved in this game. Maybe even a quarter of what they are now. I've been at this floor for so long now that I've forgotten what floor it even is.

Please allow farming floor 10 until the next content patch; else, there's literally nothing else to do and ppl will get bored and leave. Also, a suggestion, format of 5 mobs other than mini/bosses for 4 players just turns it into a boring slog, consider reducing the amount of mobs or amount of those encounters on the later floors
When the next 10 floors come out I will be adding a repeatable minigame to give something to do until the new content is added. Thanks for playing and your input!
