I have already said this once but this time i hope that this comment will be top rated and thing i want to talk about is lag: thats right when PC or laptop starts insaneously lag this game will become impossible when all these balls starts to twitch, first they are at middle and next second they are gone and i see only red balls on the circle becaus i mispressed or simply missed everyone. Probably the best game around here, thanks for the fun I had, especially while creating a band and composing and performing songs with my buddy.
Also the ice cream man song is kick ass!

I've just read through a decent amount of the comments here and I find that the fact this game has badges has near ruined the high rating for this game, forcing people to get into the gameplay, and not letting people realize how awesome this game is without the gameplay. The storyline is funny, yes - although playing through songs is somewhat annoying and earning enough money to do some things can get tedious. People need to realize: YOU ARE ONLY EXPLORING THE GAME PORTION OF THIS. When people are smart enough to realize that this is a great game without all of that gameplay and playing at concerts is when they're rate something over a 1 or 2. I'm keeping my rating at 5/5 for the same reasons I listed before. And a Guitar Hero-like control scheme would have made it easier, but rather unoriginal - if Guitar Hero had never existed I might have rated it a 4 instead. And I do have to admit creating a good song is time-massacre. But in this case, the pros outweigh the cons, by far.

The only thing I would change if I had the chance is the actual gameplay during a song. A horizontal/vertical slider would make playing songs much less bothersome and give people more time to see what notes are coming, but I managed with the wheel design. =P Otherwise this is a perfectly addicting game. Still giving it a 5/5.

Great concept. I love creating songs in this game. 5/5 because of the massive creativity and replay value. The circle thing HAS to go though.

for any stuck on the concerts (covers) bass is the easiest on most of them, the last three at the park are simpler then the first two so after you beat those you can grind your fingers into learning the last few difficult songs. some people find they like changing the bottom three notes on player one to UIO so you can use six fingers easily. I personally liked playing black whole with guitar one rather than base.

I enjoy the complexity of the game; huge expansion from the first Punk-o-matic. Next things to improve on: character creation (girls please!), vocals (perhaps), less kinks in the music (between riffs, when changing notes, etc.), and perhaps a linear gameplay instead of circular with better syncing.

christ, making a song with this bloody riffs system takes way too long. I'm not asking to sound brilliant in five minutes, but in the space of ten I should have a grasp of the system that allows me to plunk out "jingle bells" at least. This is just not intuitive. maybe it helps to be an enthusiast of punk music, but come on. I think it would actually be easier to write a song note by note then with these freakish premade riffs.

Have to say that I absolutely love it!
Maybe I'm a bit biased because I've been a fan of Evil-Dog for years now, but this is so far beyond the first Punk-o-Matic that it's just insane.
Adding heavy metal drumming just topped it off for me.

The controls were pretty unresponsive and the circle was just stupid. I am normally able to play music games on the hardest difficulty the first time and I couldn't play this one on easy.

I don't know if this was supposed to happen, but I try to play the first song on Easy, Guitar 1, and I'm suddenly in the middle of a hailstorm of notes! I'm getting some 5 notes per SECOND, is this right?
