Replaying the game makes me bummed out that it hasn't been badged. I'm gonna bump my rating to a 5 and hope that helps.
We had to "block" the game here on kong, some time ago, because we put it on other sites, and we had to give them a temporary exclusive; now we just removed the block.

I've already played and completed this game over a year ago. You really think I'm going to play it again just because it's been put in the 'hot new games' section?! *plays game* ;)

Graphics could be better, but you fixed that in the second episode. I like the story, the gameplay is not terribly hard, and the hint button is there if I need it. Amazing game in general!
Thank you so much! :) It's great to read such words. ^_^ of course, we hope you'll like our next adventures as well! Have a great day and keep having fun!

Though i haven't yet played the game, allow me to make a game mechanic suggestion concerning "Show Interactive Elements" - make easter eggs that don't pop up on the scan
It's a good suggestion, indeed. :) We already tried it in other games, and it seems that it would fit better. Thank you for such feedback, it will help us trying to get better at this! :)

Rogue Quest - Episode 1 is decently enjoyable.
Visuals: Pixel graphics that I enjoy. It still looks a little bit ugly
Audio: Nice music. Kind of weirded out by it but I think that is the intention.
Story: A little bit pretentious. If the villain wasn't so 'powerful' the whole thing would make more sense. Still pretty fun.
Controls: Point and click. Hotboxes of the objects could be slightly bigger though.
Gameplay: It's a point and click game with a somehow engaging story and a little bit of moon-logic. Story and Gameplay don't walk hand in hand because it was to easy to destroy the villain. Maybe make the game harder or simply make the villain less powerful.
Rated P for its's actually pretty good.
PS: Played episode 2 first.

Un gioco molto divertente, anche se un po corto. Vado subito a giocare il seguito :)
An funny game, even if a little short. I'm going to play the sequel right now :)

I understood that Matter of Caos reference. Just wanted to point that out. And of course this game is nice too. A little short and on the easy side, but well done.
It's always great to see someone getting an AMOC reference! XD It's short, indeed - we decided to develop the "Rogue Quest" series as an interlude inbetween our releases on Steam, which take so much effort. We hope you'll like the next episodes as well! :)

I love pixel point and click games, and this one had logical puzzles, an adventurous element, and funny dialogue. Awesome!
In this case "leech" and "lich" are confused on purpose, to make a very bad joke. It's quite ovbious you didn't like that, and we're sorry about that. We hope you'll find our other adventures quite more amusing. If that won't be the case, well, life is harsh. But thank you for your feedback and keep having fun. :)
We'll try to look out for that issue, it's the first time someone reports it. Anyway, we're glad you like our game, and we hope you'll like our other adventures as well! :)

okay so I played these in the wrong order, but it didn't detract from the fun :) You are brilliant! I appreciate more now, the character reference in the next game :)

just a problem I ran into: using windows edge the cursor disappeared for the whole game, it made it all waaay longer, but I still loved the game!
Hi, this is a typical issue with WebGL games and Microsoft's browsers (IE and Edge). If you'll play other WebGL games, try to play with Firefox (preferred) or Chrome.
Thank you, we're sorry you had so many troubles but it's good to know you managed to try it! XD We're glad you liked it in the end; it's short, indeed, it's meant to be a quick adventure series, but we'll try to make it a bit longer in the next episodes. Also, if you want to play a longer (and far more challenging) adventure, you should try "A Matter of Caos"! :)

I got a Not Found Error when the game was downloading and now it is stuck on preparing...(8/9). It is really frustrating.

I cant play it, it keeps saying the browser cannot allocate the amount of memory required by the OpenGL. It says that the developer needs to reduce the memory requirements or something. I seriously doubt that my browser is too weak to run it since its a pixel game....

Even though it's an extremely short game (About 10 minutes), it's an entertaining game. The humor in this game is pretty good and the premise of the game is unique. Definitely looking forward to playing the episode 2.
Thank you very much! It's great to read such WONDERFUL words! :D We hope you'll like that, too; moreover, we'll soon develop another RQ adventure, given the chance. ;) Thank you again and keep having fun!
