I understood that Matter of Caos reference. Just wanted to point that out. And of course this game is nice too. A little short and on the easy side, but well done.
It's always great to see someone getting an AMOC reference! XD It's short, indeed - we decided to develop the "Rogue Quest" series as an interlude inbetween our releases on Steam, which take so much effort. We hope you'll like the next episodes as well! :)

I love pixel point and click games, and this one had logical puzzles, an adventurous element, and funny dialogue. Awesome!
In this case "leech" and "lich" are confused on purpose, to make a very bad joke. It's quite ovbious you didn't like that, and we're sorry about that. We hope you'll find our other adventures quite more amusing. If that won't be the case, well, life is harsh. But thank you for your feedback and keep having fun. :)
We'll try to look out for that issue, it's the first time someone reports it. Anyway, we're glad you like our game, and we hope you'll like our other adventures as well! :)

okay so I played these in the wrong order, but it didn't detract from the fun :) You are brilliant! I appreciate more now, the character reference in the next game :)

just a problem I ran into: using windows edge the cursor disappeared for the whole game, it made it all waaay longer, but I still loved the game!
Hi, this is a typical issue with WebGL games and Microsoft's browsers (IE and Edge). If you'll play other WebGL games, try to play with Firefox (preferred) or Chrome.
Thank you, we're sorry you had so many troubles but it's good to know you managed to try it! XD We're glad you liked it in the end; it's short, indeed, it's meant to be a quick adventure series, but we'll try to make it a bit longer in the next episodes. Also, if you want to play a longer (and far more challenging) adventure, you should try "A Matter of Caos"! :)

I got a Not Found Error when the game was downloading and now it is stuck on preparing...(8/9). It is really frustrating.

I cant play it, it keeps saying the browser cannot allocate the amount of memory required by the OpenGL. It says that the developer needs to reduce the memory requirements or something. I seriously doubt that my browser is too weak to run it since its a pixel game....

Even though it's an extremely short game (About 10 minutes), it's an entertaining game. The humor in this game is pretty good and the premise of the game is unique. Definitely looking forward to playing the episode 2.
Thank you very much! It's great to read such WONDERFUL words! :D We hope you'll like that, too; moreover, we'll soon develop another RQ adventure, given the chance. ;) Thank you again and keep having fun!

Okay, first of all, I knew you were active with answering your comments, but I didn't know you were THAT FAST. I just posted my musings a few moments ago! Well done! Anyway, the Vampiric Abomination has me curious...curious as to how a normal Vampire and a normal Abomination would each look in this world. Also, I had a question...the Leech King and the Vampiric Abomination are genuinely interesting monsters to me, and, in my opinion, it's a bit of a shame to see their potential squandered by being killed so simply. I was thinking of maybe giving them a proper chance by potentially writing the undead annelid and his wretched retainer into an interactive story I help write, if that's okay with you guys, of course. To that end, is there a larger version of the Leech King from the game's icon art that I can use, to show what he looks like? And also one of the Vampiric Abomination? I mean, screenshots of their pixel art will do in a pinch, but actual detailed art would be pretty awesome.
Well, that was unexpected! :D In order - About the differences between a normal vampire and an abomination one is very important: the abomination is sort of a mixed creature, which combines vampiric skills to other creature's part; it's MUCH more dangerous and strong than a normal vampire, in this world. About the squandered potential of those undead, you're right, but we aimed to a short game, so we couldn't give them all the space they deserved; your idea about their interactive story is intriguing, though. Send us a PM, if you wish, to explain us what you were exactly thinking about. :)

Y'know, it's great to have a Dev that actually answers their comments. Great work on this game. I'm just gonna' replay this one, then I'm going to give the sequel a shot, since it got front page. Looks like the art on that one really improved.
Thank you so much! :) We know the RQ episodes are quite short, but we're developing them as "interlude" inbetween our bigger projects, now on Steam; we're glad you like them, anyway! About the art, we recently enlarged our team, and now we have a REAL graphic artist, hence the miracle :D
He had to: although Konrad has a very strong fist, it could be not enough with a mutant vampire or such. Well, maybe it COULD have worked, but we'll never know. u.u

Fun game. Puzzles were understandable and the writing was funny. Punch that wall! I'd love more! The music got annoying but I LOVE the menu music.
Thank you very much! *_* We just wanted do make an easy and funny game, while we're on much heavier projects, and it's great to see it worked out fine! :D We're on some other projects right now but, given the time, we'd like to release another RQ episode. If you'd like to support us, just follow us on twitter or fb! ;D have a great day and keep having fun!

Consistently the best. Great content and diligent designers who genuinely care about players thoughts. Well done guys. I salute you.
Thank you so much! *_* Reading comments like yours, we feel like all of our efforts are worth it! We're trying our best, doing what we can to improve game after game. We hope you'll like our next adventures as well! Thank you once again, have a glorious day and keep having fun!

Nice job on this little essay. It didn't take too long, was in good humour, and was very player-friendly. Keep it up.
Thank you! ^_^ Yes, we know it's a bit short, but we're working on many projects right now, so we had to make it short. We're glad you liked it anyway. :)
That's very likely - the main theme is "Netherworld Shanty" by Kevin McLeod; that's a free-use music, so everyone can use it, until they put it in the credits. :)

I liked it, short but still good. One problem I had was I got to the last "step" of the game, and accidentally went back a page, and had to restart completely. I was able to breeze through because I knew what to do, but I couldn't complete the last step until I actually read the book again. Took me a minute to figure that one out
Indeed, this is much easier than our standard, but it meant to be a shorter game than our usual. :) Don't worry, though, we're still trying to develop harder games as well!
We're sorry if it annoyed you; we know that it doesn't give a perfect feedback. We hope you liked the game nonetheless. Have a nice day and keep having fun.
