- Making money: in the north is the challenge area. Beating good ships nets a lot of cash. There are a few high value ships made that can be killed easily, if you wish... though I didn't need those.
- Beating limits: only the last part added is checked for limits. So get the parts, install them, then add a useless part. That part gets 'uninstalled' while the rest remains. I usually have a drone or skill part since I don't get to my limit on those. I assume this is a bug though. Weapons do seem to have a limit; only about 40 tend to actually fire I think.
-- Suggestion: make a limited and unlimited ship option. Unlimited ships are nice, but in the end they all get so much regen that even perfect weapons can't beat them.

I think base should have a reconstruct button for all the players complaining about having a ship half torn apart, stealth elements, real missile-shaped missiles and mirrorred parts of each type. Click + if u agree with me and let developer hear about this issues.

I prefered the first episode, in this one it's too hard to earn useful parts, and prices are ridiculous. Also, there's no point in fighting the enemy commander, as he immediately respawns. It is actually better to leave him severly damaged, but alive.

how do these guys have like 20 or 30 missles on their ship when the max is 10 extra weapons? do you get more space just by having a huge ship? or did they hack?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
haha wow so many hacked ships, dont even show up when u try to fight them, just the main shell without any weapons on it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@DavidCP I can defeat it . Took 5 minutes, with no user input though. And you took off 5 pieces of shellcore. Good job.

a Part costomiser would be nice, being able to select a look (type of panel, 1/2 price of a average piece based on that panel, and allows different level abilities on it) and then a passive abilitie, a Active abilite or a weapon on top for slightly higher that shop price but it being suited to you ship

you should have unlimited max amount of parts, should just be depending on a special part that relays energy, would be better as i cant fit any more bits on, and now theres no real point of playing

Easiest way to get alot of money:
1. Goto 'Challenge Sector'
2. Choose 'Asteroid Invaders'
3. Choose enemy commander that is only a core (no parts)
4. Take all outposts and create harvester turrets near each outpost (so control is 12/26)
5. Confine the commander to his base by placing missile turrets more or less where he first heads (control 16/26)
6. If possible put your computer in a semi-hibernate where it's 'resting' but the game is still playing (you can check this by being able to hear music)
7. Or open a tab and do something else until you think it's has been long enough
8. Last option while you wait awhile, 'Switch user' and let some brother/sister on but in a different profile on the computer and when their bored of playing hop on and finish the level
P.S. at the time of finishing this post my power is now: 69825 (you get bonus cred from how much power you saved)

Ah... to add a much needed comment to my previous rant, PART REFLECTION IS NEEDED. Although some parts have corresponding opposites, it would be nice to reflect certain weapons parts like the high end torpedo parts. I would like to be able to have a part identical to the torpedo part that isn't the bomb. Not only does the bomb weapon suck, it is extremely energy expensive and underpowered.

This is a game for "Tactics". Respawn is only a bit slow. If you feel 3 extra seconds away from home base will kill you, go play another game. And if you don't know how to use a missile tank, hint: it's a missile turret that moves itself while you are off doing other tasks, and can keep enemy commanders from placing turrets near your tanks. And it does suck flying around with only one part, but deal. If you're worried about not dying fast enough, fly straight into the enemy base. If some missions feel "tricky", it's because you're SUPPOSED to visit earlier missions to pile more cash up and get more/better parts. I do agree that the defense turrets are ridiculosly underpowered. If you're complaining the "grid won't show" or "it looks different", try the OPTIONS MENU. Last note: Being able to sell parts in your storage would be nice, too. This can be somewhat of a hassle if you have 10 passive abilities and you want to sell another part in your garage without removing parts to do so.

How do you fight the custom commanders?!!!! I kept trying to fight this thing but there's no button that lets me fight it, its just some info about it! When I typed in the direct URL, it just took me back to the game and nothing changed. Help!!

i think every part should have a mirrorred version in the shop for symetry obsessive players like myself:B . please add more parts! :D And also increase credits earned for the people who are too lazy to grind(im not included btw).

some Idea for Ep.2. Make it you start as a drone and as you get kill more you rank up. So say you start as a light drone. you could then be a gun drone for example. Give it a + if agree

Fight my 'The Vulnerable Bank Vault' ship if you want easy money, you get 1600 per fight I believe (If you get half of the credit value of the ship) and even weak ships will be able to take it out.

so my ship has 17400 shell but the little outpost things can two shot my shell? the shellcore alone could take more than that!!

I think a great way of earning credits is by repeating the mission Gradius over and over again. It may feel really slow, but it's faster than any other way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how do those guys break weapon and passive limits? i wonder if i have to pick up certain items just like in FF VII :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hint for ppl who are annoyed at reconstructing w/o having a remove all button, take away pieces joining ur core to ur shell, then reconstruct, anything greyed out but still in construction grid will be placed in the section at the left side

enemy commaners are way over powered they just get a turret drop it at base you ill them then it repeats in the 1 second it takes them to respawn.
