Oh one more thing, it would be nice to turn off xp flying towards the player at max level since it doesn't do anything for you anyway and would help with some of the lag on later levels. Sorry for double post

Game was a pretty solid shooter - up until that last set of levels. They were essentially a giant middle finger to anyone with less than perfect vision. Those green guys against the green background, geez that hurts. Buuut it looks like there are multiple people who seem to be fine with it so I'll shut up about it. 4/5 for the part I could play.

Pretty good, fun and engaging, the only complaint I have is that in the later levels the sprites get so small it actually hurts the eyes trying to focus on them, especially the tiny green enemies which blend with the background.

Hardest level to get a perfect on? 26, even if you've figured out how the good/bad powerup enemies work.
Main problem is the penultimate wave has four brown enemies with loads of HP, fast speed, and complete knockback/blackhole immunity chucked at you, and it's nearly impossible to take all of them down before at least one gets to you. Even the "powerup enemies" rapid fire boost won't last long before the brown guys appear.

RNG controls whether or not you get a perfect. Not very fun to redo the same levels over and over until you get a wave pattern that you can perfect.

the backgrounds are terrible... you went from blue, which was dark and had good contrast with the projectiles, to red/pink, which irritates the eye, to lime green, which hides all green enemies AND is too bright to contrast with projectiles. why?? also, the yellow "loot" flying towards you looks too similar to the yellow enemies which ALSO charge at you.

why is the playing field rectangular? when foes pop up from the long edge, you get a lot less reaction time... very arbitrary difficulty.

To be honest, the impression I was first given by the thumbnail, description, and rating wasn't all that promising, but this game just works so well. I'm always a big fan of upgrades in games, especially when you're able to upgrade your upgrades (I admire Upgrade Complete 2 xD) and the grinding in the game never feels like grinding; and the grinding isn't even a big requirement either, I just go back to replay the levels because they just WORK SO WELL. Each enemy brings something new to the table, and when they're grouped together you're forced to adapt. The achievements applying bonuses like your game does is quite clever, too. The only complaints I would have is the lack of extra levels and possibly boss enemies.
10/10 would play at least twice more

is "god" achievement possible? as a fully maxed player (without the achievement) and many attempts i cant do 23 26 and 27 with perfects.

From looks i can't believe that this is a FUN game! The upgrade system makes the game really addictive. No bad at all! (A small nip pick: At first glance the upgrade screen looks like levels, maybe it's the boxes)

Very enjoyable game. No useless eye candy like sliding menus, good performance and fun gameplay. 5/5 and I hope that the sequel will keep the simple graphics. The only negative is the small difference between good and bad green guys, but that is probably intentional and if so, OK.

Uhh, hang on: Max Level, all bonus upgrades via achievements gained (btw, there's a typo there, upgrade is repeatedly spelt "upgragde"), but I still have one more thing to unlock on the skill tree? Am I missing something?

@propane_mailbox You can use your skills on those bosses, in fact they are heavily influenced by wave and black hole, so use those to move them closer together then they will be easy to manage.

It's a pretty well made game, somewhat simple but very smooth. However, the enemies that aren't affected by the black hole/shockwave were pretty annoying. The big slow ones were understandable, but the regular speed ones were not, particularly on the levels where they swarm from all directions, or on the last level. It's a poor move to make a big chunk of your skill tree (and strategy) suddenly ineffective. Shooting at the big bosses nonstop is absolutely what it takes to kill them, but I'm constantly having to divert fire to kill enemies that I can't slow down with my skills. I managed to perfect all the levels up to the last one, and I can't even beat it with all but one of the upgrades. It seems like poor design.

@Dmal : Probably coming from "Unity plugin". On firefox : click on the "lego" logo on the left of the adress bar => Activate the unity plugin. If you are on another browser, I don't know where this is.
Give it a try, the game worth it.

Made it to level 21 and hit a wall. The enemies are immune to knockback, have enough HP to soak every fully powered bullet enhancement and poison and flamethrower I can throw at them, and kill in one or two hits even with fully upgraded HP. That seems a BIT overpowered.

White screen, so i right clicked to see if there was anything i could do. Found "This Frame->" Scrolled over it and found open this frame new window. Opened and asked for permission to use unity, worked. No idea why my computer is being stupid and not letting unity work on kong but eh...

What I really dislike is the zxc layout. Not everyone is playing on an american keyboard layout. ANd since you cant change that, I never ever used the wave. Thats kinda a shame.

Game is broken, so developer says try a different browser. Not very helpful. All progress now lost. Fix your game you lazy toad.

I've gotta say, I really love your game. I'm having a hard time getting perfect on level 21 and 26, but I absolutely love how well put together your game is. I hope you continue making more games. Thanks again.
