The only thing I'm missing is some kinda place were you could get full hp&ap, like an inn or something, instead on relying all those potions. Anyways it's very decent considering it's free.

the graphics alone on this game make it a 5/5 excellent work here. little work on speed of combat could be done, i agree with the WASD movement system needed to be implemeneted

i would like to have a stop function when the attack points are ready
btw the magis cobbler is OUTSIDE of the town, you have to go the stoneway down until you reach the second muddy way and go this one down. the first one is a merchant

The game is really well made. I didn't like the movement system though. If you could switch to wasd with an action key, I'd prefer that.

i played until i got through the gate with the key...then the wolf said i had to go back to city and north...5 points for the game, -1 for the lame movement

it was good until the first battle... that damn action bar takes AGES to refill. and then you also miss a lot. annoying :( so promising though!

I love auto-save. Just puttin that out there. Especially in flash games, when 1 accidental press of a button can lose you a tremendous amount of work.
As for the game itself... pretty good. Gameplay's solid, graphics are nice... the game could have really used like 2 weeks of polish, though. Optimizing for speed, smoothing out animations, that kind of thing. I also find the interface to be slightly off; it looks nice, but it just doesn't fit with the whole medieval atmosphere the game has going. 2 weeks spent polishing the little fiddly bits would have made a lot of difference.
Overall, though, rather nice game.

I simply can't understand why people insist on conforming their RPGs to the Final Fantasy 1 formula, especially in regards to the combat. This is just more of the same, even Sonny is better, and playing Sonny makes me want to rip my own balls off.

This is a lot like Final Fantasy. It's quite a good game considering that it's made in flash, as most are a lot simpler.

this game is way too slooooowww... you walk slow, you fight slow... you have to wait when you fight before you even get to do anything. come on now, it takes half an hour to move through the map even if you flee from fights. this game is awesome, except that it plays like you're wading through mud.

Great Game. Very Great. Got a little bit to hard very fast. I am level 10 now and the Enemies are 8-13 and come in packs of six.
Seems like i will be spending some time leveling up. Before i continue the Quest.

A... real RPG in the Adventure/RPG-section! I can't believe it. It's got a map you can explore, combat which can be deadly if you act stupid, hell, there's an actual story! And if you haven't got the attention span of a squirrel on caffeine, it's pretty easy to find places.

Ok I'll give it that it has a good story. But the gameplay is dreadful. I couldn't find Hook, and the Disney characters are a real hate of mine.

ok i started the game and already i knew it was going to be a failure i saw jack and his pet pumpkin and that just made it all worst played a bit longer got bored and im never going to come back to this game again...

And another thing, there are craploads of copyright infringements here, captain hook, halloween town, Jack the king of halloween town, Gepetto, pinnochio. what the crap is that? there's no credit for the REAL makers of those concepts in the credits! do they get credit? I could keep going but I'm getting sick of this stupid music. I'd give it a .5 if I could but I can't. so 1/5

okay, where to begin... you don't get a sense of a mission from this game. nothing is explained well at all and the directions that are given are vague. There is WAY too much walking around, and your character moves too slow for how large the map is. I still don't F***ing understand why I'M in this stupid world. I rang a doorbell. I didn't open any doors. and how did gepetto find my friends first but not me? nothing about this game makes sense. When you shoot something and it disappears, that is NOT a KO. that is a frag or a kill. KO stands for knock out. you don't knock things out by slicing them with a sword, lighting them on fire, or by shooting them. those all qualify as lethal action. all in all this game sucks. and I haven't even found the stupid custard king or whatever. it says the house is south of halloween town. where the F*** is that? it doesn't SAY anywhere, I assume it's where I started, but I'm not finding s***.

Movement and dialog in this game are a chore because everything is too slow. It took me HALF AN HOUR to talk to Jack and get to the other side of the town where I might be able to leave and try combat only to discover I couldn't leave yet. I probably have to talk to somebody else. =/

I also dont like that theres no inns, you have to rely solely on spells and potions which you have to walk clear over the map to get to.
