I only have two complaints about this game.
1)When the stalemate ends in a draw, the round is replayed. I suggest that stalemates of this kind reduce the score limit instead, so that overall draws (such as 0-0 and 1-1) are possible. This would make for a tactically more interesting experience.
2)There is the option for two humans to play against each other on the same computer (set both players to human), but there is no option for a match against a human who sits at another computer. Adding this option would definitely add more potential to this game.
Overall though it is easily one of the best games I 've played.

I very much agree that there needs to be a surrender option and one to refuse stalemate / get more turns. You can be screwed over by stalemate happening before you can move in on the opponent and while sometimes you still win by points other times it kicks in before you can finish them and costs you a game you could have won. Other than that, though, it's addictive and outstanding!

Stalemate is bullcrap. You can be about to completely obliterate your opponent and suddenly the game pulls the plug on you. Then the computer won simply because he happened to draw all his pieces first and kill off most of yours.

There are two changes I would make; 1) add the 'surrender' option, and 2) the ability to turn on/off stalemates (unless of course there are NO moves remaining. It stinks losing a game that you would have otherwise won. Cornering your enemies sometimes takes more than the 10 moves if you have to move around some other pieces. Still, 5/5 game. Love it.

it's a nice game, too much simple maybe and the computer play like my three years old brother... but as long as u don't know the basic tricks is enjoyable... 3/5 for sure

Was going to give a 4/5 because it was very enjoyable simple game. Then I cornered the computer in such a way that it could not make a move without having a piece taken and it simply did not make a move and neither could I. Stupid. 2/5

It is an entertaining game, but I do believe it is a tad too reliant on luck, for more than one game I have 75% of the pieces and in the first 5 choices I had a demon king... was very one-sided

I totally agree with kshar. The rules are not straight forward, and I'm really not in the mood of leaning a new game. I want to have fun, not read an instructional rulebook. Rate me low if you want to, but you know I have a point.

oh and i think that people give this game bad rating, because they think that the game is luck based. but there is VERY few luck in this game!!

this is an awesome game, i have no idea what tarkada is talking about. basic chess strategy and understanding the game allows easy wins. multiplayer would rock.

Look, the game has flaws and luck is a significant factor. That said, my only real complaint is the lack of a surrender button and the way it sometimes handles the stalemates, often giving itself one when it would lose the match if it went on a few more turns. Simple strategy will give you a win most times. Avoid making a piece appear next to his pawns until you know where your king is. Avoid making a piece appear next to your queen until you know where his queen and king are. Use his low powered pieces to pin his higher powered ones. Understand that his pattern tends to
be somewhat aggressive. Yes, a pawn often appears next your king, but then again, it happens to him to. Track the pieces. If you eliminate all of his pawns and his king you king cant be killed. etc

i give it a 1/5 becasue every game i play i summon my king then they summopn a pawn right next to him and i cant move
i have played 14 games by the time ive typed this

Chess derivations either are intreging or suck crap. This is the later. Graphics are terrible, handling is pointless, and the strategy isn't there.

well... nice concept... but a bit... sorry, but it's just kind of.. stupid!! not really strategy. Just random luck. 3/5.. for the concept!
