Some Tips if you struggle: For Normal mode: focus upgrades on free damage, defence, and magic/mana boosts. New spells are last priority, Golem is good with Monks. Obviously only attack shamans and wall destroyers . Ignore the Left tree. For Hard mode (attempt after Normal lv5+), put a few points in the Left tree (monks!) and try to only use your basic attack as much as possible. Once they break through the first floor (they almost definitely will), only attack units on ground floor if your mana is high. Pretty sure that shamans only heal on same floor, so you can attack them ground floor but only when they're under the burning oil pots. Eventually, with enough skulls, Archers are awesome. With these tactics I got all skulls and had a good time :). 3.5/5

Ok, finished, then survived 15min in survival mode which registered as 7:17. Now I'm to the point where playing any further is pointless as you are no longer able to upgrade, you are stuck with what you've got. I went to bubble.com and it says "game does not work locally". Oh well. I'm not sure why I came back as the game format isn't really all that engrossing and the upgrades are kind of lite, just to find you can't max out. Oh well, back to 3 stars.

4 stars dwn to 1 when reaching lvl 10. At which time your mana runs out and you can play as long as you want after that and it will do you no good, no matter what configuration you use. You are only farting around waiting for the stupid ass 'try again' screen. So once again, I have wasted ovr an hr just to get gypped at the end. I guess you can take you orcs, walls, and mighty horde and shove em in you ass.

Saw this game under recommended, short and good tower defense game, if you're having trouble first get the tower defense upgrades then focus on your knights and their upgrades, then focus on the wizard.

Hello, I found a glitch. This one goblin couldn't be feared. This was a bit weird for me. Then I find that It can't be damaged= gamebreaking glitch... well, it seems to have on happened once so I'll let you off. :) Seriously though, please fix it.

Difficulty curve is fine. This game is well balanced. 5/5 Maybe if you're having trouble you might want to look at the way you're playing and improve your strategy.

difficulty curve is too extreme towards end levels. mana regen rate is too slow. possibly regen a small amount of it per kill would be a nice addition (2% or 3% mana per kill maybe?)

eh, alright concept, needs a lot of work. Upgrades aren't diverse enough to really promote different play styles. Way too much clicking. Frost bolt doesn't diffuse bombs. The only enemies you have to worry about are goblins and executioners , the rest can't go up.

There seems to be a bug where when a basher gets onto the 2nd floor of the castle and above, it becomes invulnerable, and apparently invisible to the the guards. Nothing will damage it, and even frost bolts won't acknowledge it is there, passing it by to hit the floor below.

the physics/look of the frostbolt spell dropping down looks like magical bird dropping.

Two things I found frustrating.
1) Sometimes a mob would become invincible at some point during the level. No matter what I did, its health would stay the same. If I killed all the other mobs, the level would be complete but that invincible mob would still attack my units and defense unabated until I killed the last enemy, which was a real deterrent to skull collecting.
2) When I cast fear, sometimes it would let me hurt the assassins with my icebolt, and sometimes it wouldn't. I don't know if it was intended for fear to cause the assassin to unstealth, but consistency would be nice as well as in-game tooltips to let the player know what's what.

at the last level i killed the boss at the same time he killed me and they appeared the 2 windows of victory and defeat!

anyone else get an invincible shaman at some point? >_> i like killed one and froze it at the same time.. so it won't die.. or get feared.. i have one assasin and a shaman left DX

for the second game how about 3 tiers of spells? frost fire lightning, frost can freeze, fire burns, and lightning maybe the last upgrade is a continious stream of lightning, that spreads, and burns targets so it continually goes from one person to the next and has them take lightning and burn damage of course if the lightning spreads farther from the source it does less damage. also how about stone walls around the castle or maybe a spear wall that does damge and provides defence. hell maybe some spear man that are knights with longer range but less damage. howa bout a barracks, higher soldier population like 3 or 4( per floor) and faster spawn time.

Here's the only thing you need to know, bombs are the only things that damage your castle so kill those goblins and executioners and what have you, you should be good. Focus on those and you'll save your castle from a lot of damage.

The spelling in this game is horrendous. I find it despicable that people would develop something with so many spelling and grammar errors. While you may not be from an english-speaking country, you could very easily put the text through microsoft word and use spelling and grammar check to solve most of the problems. I mean seriously, this dialogue is just painful to read.

Needs auto or hotkey to cast spells. And frost bolt should cost less mana because by the time im getting the upper hand on the level ive ran out of mana leaving the enemy to pound my walls heavely. However, overall epic imence awsome game. Great but simple graphics so old computers work well with it (like mine). And youve not tried too hard to make it the best which most games do these days which is good. Keep making more epic games (I sugest a sequal).
