to get FPS either use the "`" key or the "\" key. good game, boss should explode at end though, the "falling" bits make it look like hes sweting.

It was pretty fun, completed normal and played survival for abit. Here's my slice of the pie im adding ontop of everyone else's comments. Maybe try adding some more flying powerups besides health? That would be fun. Also like mentioned before after you exit the upgrade screen a slight pause would be great, like a second atleast! Even a small story/campaign mode! even if it cant be added here to a add it to a sequel and you got gold there hehe. (voice effects, animated if not slideshow cutscenes?) Maybe add in some other upgrades too, you know for uniqueness. Oh also the cobossus is'nt really grinning is he? Though that is'nt really a issue haha. Anyways good game. Please keep creating! =D
Thx for the useful feedback, most of that will be very useful if I make another shmup someday. Thinking about adding the delay after the pause screen, shouldn't be too hard too...

Would love to see a xp bonus for grinding on a sequel or update! Some more upgrades or upgrade levels would be fantastic for this game. Good job! 5/5

great fun. although you can see the red shadow of where you are when you unpause from upgrade screen; you have to make sure you have done so when there is little danger. the minefield was a killer for this!
also sometimes i felt that things didnt actually touch me but i was damaged?

You've done a lot of things right. Here's some suggestions to make it better (mind you, I only played on normal, I don't know what hard is like): 1.) I agree that getting between fighting and upgrades is a little abrupt. Perhaps a 3 second countdown before the actions starts again? 2.) More attack patterns within a stage. The same attack pattern for the whole stage gets boring. 3.) Can we have the achievement for beating easy and normal be awarded if you beat it on hard? And for easy if you beat it on normal? If you can beat the higher up levels, you don't have much motivation to play the others, as you would most likely sleep through 'em. 4.) Keep making games!
