Oh, and for events, costs to upgrade MP gain should increase by 1.21x, and the MP gain should be multiplied by 1.1. This will make sure that event progress doesn't slow to a halt, but also make sure that it won't become faster and faster either. It will "Cap out" when all spawn upgrades are maxed.

Any plans for more updates? All that I can think of is to address the floating-point rounding errors. (The formula for prestige points gained with next prestige is flawed. Make the calculation use the sum of current and prestige points instead of calculating those 2 values separately in the formula.) Also, MP gained/sec shown next to current MP seems to look at how much total MP gained has increased, which means that it can sometimes display as 0 when it shouldn't. (For example, after a prestige before level(l)ing everything back up again.)

The "sounds" settings are really frustrating. Any time I change a setting, all of the sounds go away, and are very finicky. I managed to get them to where I wanted and then when I changed areas, all sound stopped again. Refreshing doesn't help.

Hi, can you explain what SUPERFAST TRAINING is supposed to do exactly? It doesn't seem to affect my training times at all. Great game btw.
Thanks for playing Area Raiders! 'Superfast training' becomes valuable on 'late-late'-game stages when the practice time on Training gets longer and longer. Each Superfast training skill reduces the time of practice by 1 day to up to max. 14. days (capped).

I did the math and figured out that progress will eventually slow to a halt. The cost of MP gain attributes increases by 25% per level. Since prestige points double after Quadrupling MP, and the best raider increases in effect by 11% per level and 1.11^2=1.2321, which is less than 1.25, progress will slow down more and more as I progress further. This game will cease to be fun if the game will slow down exponentially and never speed up. Make it exactly 11.18033988749895% per level to make sure that progress stays at the same speed for the whole game.
Hey!
Assuming there were no other bonuses to MP, that would mostly be true/needed. However even then having it exactly like that would skyrocket progress out of control quickly - we had it like that before, and people got to e308 within a few days.
But you have to note there are also secret upgrades, now training has been added, UFO's boosts are there, and more permanent boosts are coming with the new events. So the number is deliberately slightly lower than that. Equal or higher, and you get to e308/out of game bounds very very quickly.

Good game! Way to take a random meme and turn it into a pretty dang fun idle game. Looking forward to seeing where development takes it

eh, this was cool at first, not cause the whole area 51 thing, but the updates dont fix the cloud save. If i have to make a local save, then say so.
Hmm, would appreciate if you could elaborate on what exactly happened to you.
Did something not save, or i.e. were you playing on one computer, but it didn't load on another properly?
Yep, currently every 6 hours a space ship will get you 1 shard, so 4 shards per day - even if you idle i.e. for 12 hours, and get back, one of the first ships you collect after will get you 1 shard/6 hours.
Also, we're working on a goals/Achievements update that will give out more extra shards
Thanks! You should receive shards every time you come back playing the game (after 6hours - 1shard; and up to max 4shards when coming back after 24hours). Hope this helps! ;)
We may add them after we release the next planned set of updates we mentioned on the forum! Feel free to check them out under 'Planned future updates'. Thanks for playing the game!

What do the "missions" even do? they don't seem to increase gains any so are they useless? Because they seem quite useless.
Missions open up the resources you'll need further to get to the keys needed to reveal the secret and open up the new gameplay abilities! So, they are not useless, try to get enough keys to reveal new area and you'll see what I had in mind ;)
Did you perhaps just set the buying amount from x1 to xMAX – that should perhaps change the upgrade costs from hundreds to millions? I just send you also a PM with more details about this..

Breaking News: We're here in Nevada, where a tidal wave of millions of citizens have been rushing headlong into the many local military installations. There are already massive piles of dead bodies, but the protesters keep coming with no signs of stopping. Some military bases have already fallen, and with their hacker support and sci-fi tech, no one can stop them because of their minimal popularity.

God, I hate 'Prestige'-games... Can't you just design the game properly instead of forcing players to go through the same parts again and again?

dude, online saves are broken. just lost about 4 days of play. devs seems cool so i don't wanna give less than 5 star cause i like this game. please address. thanks dev!
Thanks Mike for understanding!
EDIT 15th Dec: We just pushed an update today that changes how game reads save data and how it handles online saving. These weird save or progress revert issues should now be sorted :)

Oh yay... I save the game online at level 55, almost complete, save 3 times just to be sure, then close firefox, come back and I'm at level 49... Oh come on... It took me half the facking day to get from 49 to 55...
We're reworking how online saves work, as atm game always loads online save. The issue comes if the online saves fail for whatever reason, meaning an older/not up to date save could be loaded on refresh. We'll push this update this weekend, after it, let us know if you'd want us to adjust your save file for the time loss compensation!

the boosters seem to have broken i have 7 shards and none of the buttons work anymore i use 1 - all and nothing it dosent take them it just plain out dosent work
In case you had the game opened for a longer period of time and didn't refresh it for a while, it could cause issues on the shards not working properly, as we've released some updates during that time.
Hmm, how much progress do you tend to lose? Also do you tend to refresh a lot, or have you imported a save, or just started playing and kept using that, without a game reset/uploading another save?

Why does it say ''Complete Area 51'' then it says ''Complete Area 50'' instead of 100? Is it a bug or is it just a thing you changed? Ijust wanted to point it out

I appreciate games with an indication for available upgrades. I HATE IT when they won't clear. I would rather have no feature than a bugged one.
Actually a fix is being deployed for those that don't disappear later today - happened in case if you had something maxed, and couldn't buy anything else. Sorry about that!
If this happens can you try switching to one of the other tabs (i.e. prestige) and then back, see if that fixes it? Will also look in what case this happens
A user showed us a case when that happens early - so likely you have one of the speed/spawn upgrades maxed, and it's notifying incorrectly you should be able to afford something. We'll get to fix this next week now that we know when it happens
Idle MP can be a bit lower indeed, as it tries to replicate all unit actions, which if it doesn't do at least 30 seconds off, it could outtake some units in the average GPS. We'll try to improve this next week. But for Areas progress idle is definitely a bit slower, as it's limited by computer CPU (we can't recalculate all actions for days potentially and block your comp :D)

I never quite liked science fiction related idle games but since War clicks is so great, I am going to try this and see. I will return if I find any idea of tweak.
