Give me a few seconds to pick up the bonus at the end of the level. Do you have any idea how annoying it is to miss one? Obviously not, because you didn't fix it, but that means you didn't playtest the game. So, great job on getting a bug-free game in one try. I didn't realize that was possible.

Great game. There are a few things I would really like, the score numbers in the top right are on top of everything, flying under them I can't dodge, it would be nice if they were underneath. Going off an edge of the screen it jumps, you go from being part way off the screen to all the way on the other side, so the difference of moving a few pixels changes your position by a lot (while you are off the screen so you can't see if you jumped or not) and asteroids are able to be invisibly off the screen. It would be nice if the screen wrapped so that you could see half of yourself on each side instead of jumping. Lastly, the enemies that fire in a spiral, it would be nice to know in which direction they are going to start firing, because on the later levels it takes a while to kill them, and being close enough to hit them there is not much time to dodge if they fire right at you. Other nice game.

Great graphics, makes me think on Mystery Science Theater 3000, lol. However, the spawning of the "swarmers" needs to be worked on, sometimes they spawn on me, and i take damage, although there is nothing i can do, and also, when i die, i don't want to have to start the level over again. Other than that, great job revamping a retro classic! 3/5
Thanks for the feedback. The baddies teleporting on you _never_ cause damage, as that just wouldn't be fair. The problem is I've not shown that well enough, so everyone automatically thinks they've taken an unfair hit. Huge learning point for future games :)

this game sucks bad clone of the game asteroids the non asteroid enemys spawn ontop of you causing instant unavoidable death 1/5

Cheers :) Obviously Blasteroids and the original Stardust games were big influences on it. In an ideal world it would have been even more like Stardust.

Probably one of the best looking games on here. SO well made. This thing with the Kongregate API wedged into it would make a serious killing. I like everything about this game, part Blasteroids and part Super Stardust 95.

I know it's my game, so I've played it more than a couple of times, but to honest I've never had an issue with not being able to see a moving object on the screen, even when the planet is really close with the majority of the screen being black. I think I need to stop defending design choices now as the game slowly slips into the Kong void.

Thanks Spunky :) To be honest, I just couldn't face tacking on a plot to an asteroids clone, it just feels a little to BSy ( Like giving a Pac Man clone a backstory ). If we'd had a mission based structure then yeah it would have benefited from a plot a lot more, but as it is I'd just feel silly padding out a copy of a 30 year old game with a story. Hopefully that makes sense.

I liked the game, 4/5, but I have to say a little bit of well-written plot and a final boss would have pushed the game into 5/5.

I think I've had to clarify this on every page of comments, but the baddies teleporting on top of you just die without you losing any energy. Promise.

close to good, but a few critical flaws:
1. enemy can spawn right on top of player without any warning; motion is too jerky; 3. something else I seem to have forgotten...

hey ummm....any 1 get that error on lvl 10 no more enimies spawn and i killed everything and i still got a quarter bar to fill

I didn't like how my first powerup came as I killed the last swarmer in a level and I wasn't given ample time to pick it up.

"The unoriginal song", it's a classical piece from 1935, so I don't know how to reply to that in any way. As covered a couple of pages back, we would have loved to have had more of everything in there, including power-ups and bosses, but it was a question of time / budget. We had to have a cut off point where we stopped adding things as after a certain point you start losing money the more you add to it ( Weird I know, but the economics of Flash I'm afraid ). Thanks again for the continued feedback.

Meh, none of the guns are very interesting, and all of the enemies are annoying. The unoriginal song played on an endless loop is terrible. 2/5.

Fairly fun, and a good remake. I wish the weapons would continue upgrading, and have more difficult levels - bosses or something. Also, the awards were fairly boring.... 4/5.

Very nice design indeed! The game isn't that good though, I got to lvl 20, hoping for some boss or something, but it's just the same thing (did it with 2 lives left)... more enemies, more variation and it would've been 5 stars

Not bad. Really hard to get powerups without losing a lot of health -- it would be nice if there were some time after the level to collect powerups, instead of just skipping to the next.

Epic, brings back some memories of one of the first computer games i every played (maelstrom). 5/5. got to level 15, and 2.5 million something score. Got a little repetitive then. Besides adding some more enemies id suggest a pause button, save/load and a back to menu option. When you maxed out on power up it be nice if collecting a power up did some thing special.

Great game, but when I was on abt lvl 9 I killed all the bad guys and the lvl didnt end. Left it for a while and looked for enemies on the edge of the screen but nothing :'( Couple more points: Needs a better way to switch weapons cos its no fun changing to the wrong thing when you pick up a powerup, and its too slow when youre switching on purpose; Needs a way to mute/unmute etc when youre ingame; and a couple of times the missiles stopped firing. Gonna go play again now, byeeee!

Buggy. I have levels where baddies keep coming even though the progress bar is full. Or some levels don't end - no baddies or nothing.

Thanks you all very much for the great words. The comments really swing both ways here to a mental degree. @gunner, no extra lives mate, level 14 is pretty good mind. I used to struggle getting that far when testing ( Although after a million plays my desire wasn't a 100% :) )

what annoys me the most is when u grab the pwerups, and you mistakenly shoot it blue instead of red or green in the middle of swarmmers and ur weapon changes weapon when u grab that power-up and ur like wth? this isnt what i need at the moment and by the time you change ur halfway dead <.< but other then that lol 4/5
