Game bugged using ruffle. Fully playable but eventually you reach a room it won't let you navigate, i got stuck on level 3 bricking my runs =/ Ruffles still in beta (0.2 as of this post, so maybe will be fixed eventually) The navigation should work fine using real flash.

Adobe Flash è morto, quindi gli obiettivi non sono ottenibili! Chi ha voglia di giocare a questo gioco solo per le battaglie, lo faccia pure.. ma per quanto riguarda gli obbiettivi, scordatevelo!

Seconded on the room movement issue. There are battles on the first level of the dungeon that I literally cannot get to because some rooms are un-enterable.

I've tried Opera, Mozilla, and Microsoft Edge explorer's, none of them allow me to move between rooms. Can't even play the game...

This game is unplayable, sometimes the ability to move is just gone. You are stuck randomly no way around it the game is just pooched.

The game is good, I really liked the game, but I wish it could be full screen and that way I could better read the instructions or the characters' inventory. I also had difficulty moving around the map, I hovered the cursor several times over where I wanted to go and the blue arrow didn't appear, it says you can move with the arrow keys on the keyboard but I couldn't find where to change it.

For those curious about how to play this with SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0000/5407/live/monstersdenk.swf?kongregate_game_version=1205904559 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here (Used Google Chrome dev tools to get the link).

Replaying a lot of old kong games. Perma stunning and lowerin accuracy to spend rounds auto healing and regening off low enemies between fights is fun.

Banthallus: No, unlike Monster's Den The Book of Dread, there is no Emporium in this original version. So one simply moves any unwanted items to the red X (garbage). Although it is nice to be able to purchase wanted merchandise, this does make it easier to hold onto wanted back ups for different options of how to play one's characters (or even for nice backups on party defeat if you are playing on standard difficulty). If you have any further questions, feel free to pm me. Good luck!

Icthaylius: To use a potion, simply drag it to the person whom you wish to use it on. Since this isn't working for you, click menu, then refresh your game and reenter. This should cause everything to work correctly again. Hopefully this solves your problem. Good luck!

I can't seem to figure out how to use potions. Nothing happens when I double click on it, or when I drag it onto any of the character pictures, or when I try to drag it onto the paper doll. What am I doing wrong?

Louexveeeye: actually, party defeat depends on which difficulty you select. These are the choices:
Beginner: Monsters have reduced health and damage. No penalty for party defeat.
Standard: Monsters have normal health and damage. Item loss on party defeat.
Hardcore: Monsters have normal health and damage. Game over on party defeat.
Extreme: Monsters have increased health and damage. Game over on party defeat. Fewer loot items.
So you must have played on either Hardcore or Extreme. With the exception of the first few levels, if you lost on Hardcore, then you either don't know how to play your selection of characters well enough or you haven't chosen the right group for yourself. So adjust accordingly to your needs. If you have questions about optimizing any characters by how to use their skills, we can help. Good luck!

In case you are going for the Impossible Badge: Shoes and cloaks come with enchantments that let you instantly retreat. Make sure every character has one. Sooner or later you will get unlucky and you have to retreat.

My preferred hardcore party is Ranger (slow heal), Cleric (fast heal), 2x Warrior (2H axes/spears). First turn is usually Swiftness, Holy Light, 2x Overwhelm. This kills 2 things outright and blinds the rest, so you won't take much damage back. Having 3 heavies in front thins the damage out further, and nobody ever dies past the early floors. The team has alternate options with Anoint+Inspire+Cleave to wipe a fragile frontline, or Anoint+Overwhelm to oneshot a boss, and everyone has some form of healing. Though to work best, it'll want +speed gear and/or swapping some heavy gear to medium for 41+ base speed on the warriors.

Don't remember playing this one. Looks good, esp for its age. Kinda tedious: should be able to go directly to rooms already explored. Must have a well adjusted party, and constantly micromanaging so you don't blow it, even on normal. Overall though, a little boring and sad, despite having good music to keep company.

needs the ability to travel to any space on the map directly (that a open route is available for), not just the ones next to you.
doing so would save a *ton* of time/repetitive clicking
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the game is tedious. RPGs are often tedious, but at least there's some graphics and animations to look at and a world to walk around in instead of some rooms to click on.

Dunno why, but right now many games have a loading-problem (maybe it´s my pc..). I can´t make them work. Anyone else having similar problems?

*sigh* HOW do you fricking attack!? I'm supposedly in a battle and NOTHING is happening! This is why I HATE games like this!

VoiZod, I am sorry that I am not able to answer your most recent question. I never had that problem as the only time I ever used potions was on extreme, and even then, I limited my use of those. I play my characters so that they have full health and power before ending a battle, so that I never have that difficulty. And yes, I battle each and every group so that my characters can build up to be strong. Regarding my group building strength, I also carefully select which skills to give them, with each of my characters increasing only two or three, depending on which ones they need. If you tell us your party classes, maybe we can help you with some better strategies so that you won't need so many potions.

VoiZod: This is a strategy game and part of the strategy is to carefully choose which skills are most important to you, both at the particular time, and looking towards the future. Each of us has to deal with the consequences if we don't choose well. (Just because one doesn't initially choose well, doesn't mean that the game isn't a good game.)
You can always start the game over now that you are more informed and can better choose how you wish to proceed.
If you have any questions regarding this game, feel free to pm me.

This Game Screws you over because there is NO WAY to take back a Skill once you clicked it! This totally RUINED my campaign! take back all stars! :(
