If you played on easy and it was impossible, you SUCK. You need at least two clerics, I play with three and a ranger. Just send one cler with ALL damage refelction out front (I have 270%), ranger behind with hail of arrows, and have the other two clers spam mana regen, buff and only heal when needed. Works perfectly, on level 30 with 1 death only.

yea, the ending boss battle sucked. i had tougher fights from regualr enemies. tho i like how it makes u fight yourself in all, my mage beat the hell out of everyone
but long story short, i quote jetNerd

jetnerd you seem to... want.. a completely different game you want the entire thing to change... some things need to change but it does not need 30new characters and stuff... like wind damage it makes it to complicated to make and play

Oh... and If you put in all of the updates then make a way to transfer the save accounts. (if the upgrades shoe up on a diff monsters den like Monsters Den 2.7 or something)

All that aside, it's still a pretty good game. It shows a level of class that alot of other flash RPGs online never seem to do. the game plays out a little like a story, and if one cares enough to have a little imaginitive fun with it, you can practically see the battles play out in front of you. all in all, a great game, and a great effort by teh developer.

Needs to be playable w/ six characters... Needs a warlock, a pally, a sorta magical archer, and it needs a shop system or something. Like dotSeed said it needs an ignore gray items function. The weapons should have more damage than just poison like ice, fire, wind damage and stuff. There should be maybe a character interface thing too. There should be more spells for everyone too. Maybe you could add an item upgrade fnction too.
(this message is adressed towards garin)

Needs to be harder. It's kinda lost it's charm now that my ranger can wipe an entire boss group with one Hail of Arrows.

Just a note, Cmd+Click works fine for quick deleting items on a Mac. Enjoyable game except pretty unbalanced. Ranger + 2 Mages steam-rolls everything as soon as they get a decent weapon. Unless a money and shop system is added, there's no value in having white or grey items exist. They are simply make looting annoying. An option to automatically ignore items to a certain quality would really help, after level 20 or so it's just quicker to find the boss, kill, hope for a good epic and then move to next level instead of looting anything. Could be very enjoyable once balanced. (:

Hmm, here's an interesting bug. Twice now I've tried to create a part of 2 clerics, 1 warrior, and 1 mage. And what I've actually gotten was a party of 2 warriors and 2 clerics.

a little exploit.. if you are in hardcore mode and about to lose a battle you can restart it if you navigate to another page before the battle ends... maybe in that mode you can save the battle state??

Dexiro: You can CTRL-Click items to quickly delete them.
SpamTheGreat: You can select which items you don't want to take from the Treasure screen, just click on them and they will fade out. When you click Take Loot the faded items will be left behind.

the only think that i don't like so far is deleting items!
it's annoying have to drag about 30 items onto a tiny square

Wow, the boss is super easy with a rogue, warrior, and cleric:
Cripple + Anoint + Overwhelm. It's the equivalent of hitting the boss 5.25 times with your warrior. All before he can get off a single shot.

only problem is that it is too easy later on, and not enough creature types... I agree with murphus, should be a shop or soemthing... and an xp system WOULD make it a tad harder/make us want to accually clear all monsters not just bosses.

Fireball appears to do primary damage to all targets in range, instead of doing secondary damage to the adjacent creatures. (Beginner's setting)

I really like this game, simple but addictive. The inventory/items seems to have a lot of bugs though. Also being able to choose which items you wanted to keep after a battle/treasure chest would be nice, so you don't have to dump 10 items just for one good one. Still very good

Garin, I think the difficulty is just right now. Easy enough to win without getting annoyed, but difficult enough that I will get pwned if I get careless. If you want to increase difficulty please add different selectable difficulties. . . or end the game at a specific level and have a sharp turn for the hadcore players if they want to play a "second dungeon"
The best things that you could do if you want to improve on the game would be to add random events. Ex trapped chests or positive encounters with NPCs perhaps a library that can add bonus skills. More skills & or classes would rule too (Summoning would rock but I don't know if that would be too much of a scripting nightmare) . . . perhaps a race option to add to the mix.. . . but perhaps these kind of changes are better left for 2.0
This has been a very enjoyable game, perhaps the best on the site. Keep up the great work.

i played it and i just dont like to throw junk away if there could maybe after like so many lvels be a merchant because i dont know you could sell them and buy better weapons that are hard to find in the mosters and chest and maybe a bigger inventory as you go along

lmao this random map thing sucks.... just got the boss on the second square of lvl 3... is the only place to go... and i refuse to use those scroll things... meh my own stubborness screws me again...

jj11546 : I haven't played the Campaign Game yet, but the battle music in Monsters' Den is a licensed royalty-free track. It wouldn't surprise me if there are other games which use it.

I think that having weapons and gear in general that has high stats, but should probably be toned down progressively as the item quality goes down. Maybe keep the items the same for purple, and make bosses have a chance to drop orange items.
I agree that the challenge becomes nil when you get passed level 8 or so, so that could use some help.
Honestly tho, you should seriously consider turning this into a web-based MMO. I'm hooked!

I'm working on 1.2 now, which incorporates some balance changes.
I need to know, though: do people actually WANT things like high level weapon scaling (which is bugged, neveris meant to be so high) corrected?
Would you prefer the challenge restored, or is it more fun just to annihilate the enemy? Some people have played to pretty ridiculously high levels and I imagine are pretty invested in things the way they are. I'd like to hear from as many of those high level players as possible on this, send me a whisper.
