I was totally hooked! I think it is a great game, but after 10 levels it could get boring. One thing I would love would be more "Specials" for the other chars...Rogue seems to get the best things...the Warrior class is almost useless because they have problems with Quickness (Which KINDA makes sense because if they are wearing ALL heavy armor, then they'd be VERY slow) by the time I'm swinging with the warrior, everyone is probably dead because of my MAGE/ROGUE powerhouse. the purple type specials should have stat based bonuses like the Rogue Daggers.
I do love the game tho. More creatures would be nice for my ranger to whack at. Maybe also NPCs that can only be hit with magic...and then of course ones that can only be physical...and ones only at range. maybe some NPCs resistant to most things except poison.

If the game isn't loading for you, you need to get the latest version of flash player.
My only suggestion for the game at this point is also what Revital said, being able to upgrade skills. I get the skills I want with the first 3 levels, after that I never use the others, so it's just kind of a waste. Let me upgrade the skills, or turn the skill training points into attribute points.

As somebody else said, add traps to the game. Make it more dangerous, and include a percentage of catching and disabling traps. The percentage could be based on the characters you have, were warriors have 5% catching, rouges have 15%, ect. and you add it all up to see what percentage your party has at catching a trap.

This doesnt load still dissappointed. At least take some constructive critisism and make it work, and at least realize that we exist!

Great game, but a couple things...
Inventory management is hell, pure and simple. Easy filters when looting, like take green or better, or blue or better would help, as would a right-click to delete or similar.
Scaling past 10 levels is terrible. Base attack one-shots most mobs once you have a good weapon, and except in certain cases (cleave) class abilities actually do less damage than just shooting a wand.
I like the stun and poison mechanics, but I think that resistances are over-itemized. Also, the best rogue loot all seems to be light armor, there is very little cleric or mage armor, and everything seems to have something useless on it. Better itemization would help the game a lot.

Excellent game! Wasted so much time with it. Thanks! How about an ability to UPGRADE a skill instead of adding new ones that you rarely use?

Killed corruptor in a single turn lol. Anyway from lvl 5 on the equipment thing just became dead boring, more and more flowing and all useless just got bored :( Still good game tho

The speed bonus just takes away from the speed penalty. For instance, if an item has Quickness minus 15 naturally, having the Speed bonus might bring it to minus 10 instead.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I noticed that some equipement is supposed to give a bonus as it says in the name of the item, but there's no bonus given. For example, I got an item called Iron Breastplate of Speed but with no speed bonus. If it's "of Speed", why is there no speed bonus on the item? Please check the items to be sure that they give the bonus their name says they give.
Also I'd like to know what's the difference between white items, green items, blue items and purple items. BTW this is a great game.

The icon for "Stalwart Guardian's Gauntlets" shows sabatons instead. Small error, but all constructive criticism thus far has been seen to.

Nice game, good potential, the difficulty scaling really drops after the first ten levels however as everything quickly becomes trivial. Would be nice to see this scaled out to say a 100 level crawl with a nice epic boss battle every 10 or so levels.
You also make little use of the environment in terms of traps or modifiers to the rules. e.g. with all this dark summoning going on the clerics may find thier healing failing them on a certain level. Then to put more pressure make the level alot more populated with smaller groups, a real gauntlet to test the team as it were.
Any really enjoyed it hope you develop the concept for a sequel.

This is, quite possibly, the single best game I have played here at Kongregate. Simple concept, flawlessly executed, with good art and great interface- the trash bin could stand to be larger, and selling items for even arbitrary gold might be nice, but now I'm just nit-picking. I give it about 12 stars out of five, and you need to be doing this for a living or something. We demand MOAR!

In followup to my last comment (complaining about browser-crashing bug in the game) - I really like the rest of the game. so long as I remember NOT to click the help button, it's great fun.
I also noticed there's a bug in the mouse-cursor handling, that often makes the cursor jump around by about 2 inches apparently because you're resetting the cursor?

AWESOME GAME MAN! Never had so much fun in a while (in a flash game)! 5/5. :) Also nice references to WoW's skills sometimes... bloodlust shield wall, cleave etc ;p

Anyone else think the Foe Holder is pretty crappy for a purple item? Meh, oh well. Other than that, fairly fun game. Although I think it would be nice to be able to see the battle or the equipment / look of the equipment on the characters. I didn't have any problems with the inventory, but it would be nice to be able to sell the hundreds of items I have trashed. ^_^

it takes me about two rounds.:) First round my ranger shoots Hail of Arrows (with 40% lethality:)), it kills about 3-5 normal creatures, then the mage casts electrical storm or her normal attack. Clerics finish the left. Then everyone is dead.:)

I got two rogues and 2 clerics. and.. yeah i own. never died once. and my rogues kill everything in one hit. the clerics.. sadly don't really need to heal, only in the beginning part of the game. then later on, i use them for Group dmg spells. I can even kill bosses in 1 hit with my rogues. (basically get equipment and weapons with +stats, over defense and endurance. Just Str and Dex for the rogues. then use the daggers that give special attack bonus from their stats.) I also got all stats items for my clerics. and they own. Defense is not need in this game. Since you always have the first strike. Just build up on damage, then nothing can stop you. Takes you only ... probably 3-4 rounds max to kill everything (even the bosses)

zelda_freak: Thanks. The author should really fix that, make the revive potions only work on dead characters like they're supposed to.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great idea, great base,
But i found that the inventory makes the whole game cumbersome.
Fix that and I think it will be a great game.

ranger's rain of arrows is just crazy good,
get a ranger and focus on lethality,
i have it at 30%
so thats about 1/3 the time insta kill,
now consider what happens when you rain of arrow a group.
two chances per person gives about a whopping 55% insta death.
Then get some quickness on the ranger,
now enjoy it when you wipe out an entire group.
On the first shot.

Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!
Oh.... wait. What's that? I'm being told that in fact that is incorrect and that we do, I repeat do need badges.

suggestion: organize the items by who can use them, for example if u click on ur mage, then only the items that they can use show up

Does it count as a death when you use a revive on a live player? I see a flashing X, so I assume it does. Anyways, great game, I love the dialog at the end of each dungeon level, for some reason.

<3 this game a lot, thanks for updating it with user feedback. Rogue and Mines of Moria are some great memories for me. If the sequel has shopping and maybe a more engaging/real life fighting system (like Rogue, with the fights in the dungeon) this would be the ultimate! Great job again!

Great game. Warrior + Cleric + Mage + Mage = success.
Loved the surprise in the final battle. I almost crapped myself when it hit me . . .

I found an item called 'buckler of the faded legion' on lvl 2. It is one of the purple outlined items. It has no armor rating.

Actually, I think I found it. The game's been updated. After refreshing, if anyone continues to see enemies end up with a red death 'X' while actually still alive please submit a bug report.
