Would like to have unlimited time to set up before the first wave. Also it would be nice to have info on the rooms in the menu, as well as the units.

It was a pretty fun game, but got a little repetitive in the later levels. The same strategy works after about level 20ish, but it took a little bit to figure out. Overall would recommend

Act I and Act II are relatively easy. Make sure to earn all Coins for Unit and Scroll upgrades. However Act III rises a difficulty because of upcoming Night and ghosts. Plus battles take longer there. A tutorial indroduces everything day by day. I like how new Units reflect new enemies and I especially like the sound effects. Fire cracker dominates Act II. Sticker and Wizard are a main force in Act III. Still they need Fighters (tier3) to protecting them and the Castle. Zeppelin Army is very usefull. Except for it, I prefer Lost Wealth (more gold) and Dread Sword (hitting all enemies) as ultimate Scrolls. All night Act is challenging until you find a balance between Defenders and a delivering/producing of food. 2 Potato Fields + Well are enough. The last boss Fallen Wraith King appears when you already have fully upgraded every building in your Castle. So the hard badge is not hard. All you need is to start your Day well, then you earn gold, get stronger and it is an avalanche effect.

Does rain potatoes hit friendly units too? Is it area effect or more units in the area absorb the hits and lesson it individually?

When you are a little late in the game, dont upgrade to knight, upgrade to axemen and then to the lancers. The axemen are 12 goldcoins cheaper, I know it isn much but it 12 goldcoins are 12 gold coldcoins. I ran 2 barracks and then I saved 24 GC. So worth taking.

Epic literally. Loved the concept. Quick guide that worked for me, Barbs, jokers, firecrackers, mage and in the end spearmen when u have fully upgraded the others. 2x potatoes 2x Servants and a Well along with the Target practice and Tax collector (which u can sell in the last waves for another troop building). For spells i used Potatoes, Zeppelin army, Orc and Fighter taunt. My unit upgrades were maxed, my spells not but i still got 100%

@archerbob You... you don't use gold to summon soldiers. You only use gold to build their homes. When a soldier runs out of health, then they have to go back to eat whatever food the servant has prepared for them.

This game sux, as to how can this be a botd I have no idea... I get 1 gold at a time for doing things when I need 50 at a time to summon more soldiers ergo by the time I get the required gold I lose... I think this game is broken

wraith king battle tip: focus on making and upgrading clowns and fire dancers, and dont upgrade to wizard cuz aoe fire damage are super op, they really drain the wraith king's health a lot, especially when glued.

For the medium badge (which is rather lengthy for a badge of the day), you need to make sure you destroy the Queen's SEEDS instead of her. It'll only be a problem if you're super overpowered.

Beat it! The archers and archer subgroups can become OP with the game - I used 3 wizards, 1 jester, 2 shooting ranges, 1 flamer, 1 wishing well, and 2 servant huts and 2 farms. All of these I maxed out. Good luck to all!

Um... also... caps lock to scroll? Seriously? Something wrong with the shift key, tab key, q/e keys, why do you have me turning my caps lock on and off? Might as well use my mute button to control scrolling, or oh oh oh wait! My power button, yea! Maybe have it be F1 so I can open Microsoft Help everytime I scroll! Sorry, but that's just silly. Definitely A+ for the idea, but F- on the implementation.

Love a game like this, for sure. However, the controls are clunky and unresponsive. I find myself mashing on the mouse button to get the special abilities to work, or having to click five our six times outside of an upgrade menu in order to be able to scroll again. Hotkeys would be nice. 5/5 for the game *idea*, but barely a passing grade when it comes to implementation.

I defeated the boss with only one fully upgraded barrack, at least two forest huts where one's flame parade and the other's circus tent which are both crucial to dealing with hordes and those wizards that turn 2 of your allies against you (the best you can do is keep melee allies away until they of the light blue spirits they summon alone are part of the wave) so do not upgrade to wizard (spell book button) or you lose those sticky and flame abilities that make combat a breeze, however many potato fields and servants needed and maybe give one up like I did. Just build the potato fields on the right so servants travel less to bring potatoes to your allies and keep the combat up. The scrolls that further helped were Zeppelin Army, Fighter's Taunt, Entanglement, and Lost Wealth. All scrolls except the last must be used when an enemy is in the light beyond on screen. All of this will guarantee a win (possibly a 3 coin win depending in what you do).

I think falling potatoes are too strong, especially in the first levels if you level 'em up soon but they are still the best spell through all the game. Also archers get hungry a bit too soon imo

The game lost my save after I had completed Act II. It may be a while before I give it another try for the final badge. :-(
