For anyone who comes here and wonders what they can do to play this game (since it didn't work for me), search the game on Newgrounds and either play it on the Newgrounds Flash Player (doesn't work for me but worth a try maybe?) or use the Flash Forwarder and copy the link from Newgrounds (my preferred way) at least until it works again on here.
Hi, I finally uploaded a version that does not do the external text call -- hopefully it works for people! You can download the swf here: http://reality-tunnels.com/gods_assassin.swf ---- You should be able to open it with this Flash player here: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html

Were we just gonna leave Faith's eye alone? What the heck man I wanna stab that eye and I can't.Have you ever wanted to do something so bad that it hurts? That one thing that you think about every other minute of the day; when you wake up in the morning, while you day dream at the office, while you wait in the queue at the grocery store. I just wanna stab her eye

The second I touched the math book I turned into a zebra that worked for the navy. After sinking many ships, I found out I was part of the truck-shaped olive clan. I then kicked god in the gut and called him a sore loser. Like if you want to kill someone do it right. The best part is, how to put it nicely, being romantically entangled with a frisbee robot and having a pornstar on a ship with me.10/8. minus 2 because when i tried to kill god he punched me. But you know what they say, lose lips sink ships and then get stapled and your feet and then they get put where your lips used to be.

Interesting to see all those references to the previous game (spoiler) seeing adult Angela as a doctor, the plot revealed during evil test introduction, and those angelfire references

got exactly #20 so clearly am not a failure! Also strongly encourage you guys to add clacks overhead for this page with this game. GNU Terry Pratchett.
Some people seem to be having trouble with story loading errors. First thing I recommend is trying another browser. I got it to work in both Chrome and Firefox, but users who had it fail in Firefox had it work in Chrome. Other alternative is to screenshot a missing achievement request. Please do that before August 7, I believe, for the profile shiny. The chat icon craziness I probably won't continue for that long.

Game doesn't work in firefox at all. Once you name your character and start the game you get this message. Could not read story XML at www.we-are-1.net. Check your internet connections and try again. Thanks!:) Had to use chrome and finish a ending quickly as this one seems to cause my computer to work really hard for some reason.
Sorry about that! In hindsight it was a mistake to have the game call the text remotely, but I was SURE that I would have had a typo in there that I'd be antsy about fixing...

"No, it sounds like you're thinking of a cartoon or something" - Pfft, I'll bet this guy doesn't believe starships run off of darkmatter either.
I think it was just for the April Fools' Day event. I'm honestly not sure how much longer it'll be live for (I had no involvement or advance knowledge of this being set up, haha).
I knoooow! I actually wanted to do this, but if I'm remembering correctly there was some technical reason that made it tricky. Maybe the HTML5 port can finally label this ending the way it was always meant to be labeled...

Took a few refreshes to work. At first it didn't load for me on windows 10 64-bit pro 10.0.18363, firefox 74.0, flash 32.0.0.344 (64 bit). got black screen until i right click played, and then got brief visuals and then plain white screen and music/sound effects.

I strongly disagree that having evil thoughts or beliefs makes a person evil (or even a little evil). A person's goodness or badness depends on their actions alone.
Good catch! This actually kind of bugged me too, but I wasn't sure if it was really worth explaining (I could always add a line where she explains her eye situation more if/when you ask her about it, I guess...). My internal logic was that there were limits to her power, or maybe she couldn't (fully) use them on herself. Why, for example, did Jesus allow himself to die on the cross? And when he was resurrected, why did the palms of his hands still have scars from the crucifixion? This always seemed weird to me as a kid. Or maybe the inconsistency in my own story is consistent with the inconsistencies of the inspiration source material? Yeah, let's go with that... :)

My first ending is number13. And it's my favourite after explored all 25. It showed that you are already a morally better person than the so-called gods. By the way, Why this game does not have badges? For example, a badge for getting all 25 ends

Could not read stort xml at we-are-1.net. Check your internet connection and try again. Thanks! - internet's good. Went to we-are-1.net and am currently reading. But the game doesn't work for me.
Hi, sorry about that! Can you please try loading the game again? I'm unable to reproduce this problem, and I don't think I've heard of anyone else having this problem, but the error message you're seeing is consistent with the game failing to connect to the text host server. My guess is that you just loaded it during a connection blip, but please let me know if you're still having problems and I'll look into it more. (Creating a version that's entirely local is on my to-do list, also...)
There's a running theme across the paths that the phrase is grammatically ambiguous and it can refer to several characters/circumstances. This is from the description for Ending #1 if you go to the endings menu after unlocking it: "'God's Assassin' can also refer to God asking you to kill Faith, Faith attempting to kill God, Stan attempting to kill God, or God using Faith to kill everyone."

Got all 25 endings, is there ever gonna be a sequel or something? I loved the part with the corn people when you placed the cob on the window, that was hilarious
Thank you! I'm still working on a non-interactive novella sequel that I'm *hoping* to release on Kindle or something (for free) later this year. The story is also a sequel to my other game (Thousand Dollar Soul). You can actually read the current draft at reality-tunnels.com (click the very first link on the top of the page). Feel free to provide feedback if you'd like -- I'm also happy to get any feedback through private messages here on Kongregate from anyone else who might be reading this.
I don't know about a reboot, but the non-interactive sequel to this (and my other interactive fiction game) is about 85% done -- feel free to read it here and leave any comments if you (or anyone else reading this comment) would like: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tOaAliopX50DHNaaDl9FYzzTHGTXy44mp3hk_nalrTM/edit?usp=sharing

I would like to get all the endings, but at the same time I'm often just too incapable of making my fictional avatar do the things required to get them. It was already difficult enough gritting my teeth and telling other me to call the police (I've seen movies before, I'm not stupid), now you're expecting me to grab the parachute and let the otter and kitty (and I guess the hot chick) die? I can't do this man, I'm still recovering from having to publicly admit to wanting to read victoria's secret. It's too much pressure!
