@GREGORYCARLSON The bug has been fixed, thanks for the answer to my comment, we don't get many devs like that these days! :)

For me, a nice review of my earlier college courses. For others, a nice introduction to programming.
I did enjoy learning some of the formatting for Flash.

Blue Screen Of Death P2... If the problem persists, try not clicking the mouse so many dang times after I freeze. Sheesh. To email the DEV to complain about the problem, press and hold alt+f4. Otherwise, have a nice aggravting day!

The Blue Screen Of Death computer attack says "A problem has been detected with Programmer RPG. The cause of the problem is most likely the result of playing Programmer RPG. Since I, a computer, can only follow orders from the user, any problem, by definition, is the users fault and the DEV takes no responsibility. Here is a fancy number unrelated to the problem. Shop: 0x0000000000001

nothing_special: it's asking you to write a line that calls the function, which leads to an output of 80, and set finalLevelAnswer equal to that

I don't know if this is a kong decision, or a game-maker decision, but i feel a game chat-room would be extremely useful for this. That way, people could talk about any issues they have.
I completely agree. The only way I know of to do this is to list the game as "multiplayer" instead of "tutorial" which is a something we could consider.

I can't like this game again, so I will just post to say make some more. :)
also, what program are you using to make games?

I kept accidentally clicking on one of the levels that I have already done. (in training) It's kind of annoying having to redo it over again. Could there possibly be a button that lets you go back? (needless to say, I really know one of the lessons...)

In case you were wondering, 2.2 is just a little patch fix that should help people who have an incorrect number of "enemies defeated" displayed in the home. 2.3 will be some typo fixes. Next bigger update (version 3) is December 1.

Part 3/10 Logic Operators, AND
You misspelled overall.
"The value of the overal statement is based on the values of the pieces."

It would be great when you ragequit during the rite of passage if you could be redirected to the lesson that would help you with the answer. Or be given an explanation. Or given the section of the training to refer to. At the moment I'm stuck on 11/21 and have to go through the whole training again to find an answer.
Thanks for the feedback. In the update on December 1st, I hope to add a button that will allow you to "escape" a section if you have already completed it. That should speed it up a little bit. Also, don't forget to take notes ;)

Thanks for making a game out of learning. I think this is definitely the way to go with teaching.
I thought there was a bug when I pushed the repair button a second(and a third time to make sure :)) and saw my money go down again. Then I thought well it's my own fault for bringing a perfectly good working computer to the repair shop and should be charged again and again for wasting the shop's time^^
Lots of people are having that bug. I thought of a way to fix it last night, and I will send a small update sometime this evening (before 5pm Mountain Time)

Found a bug. I was buying the Logic land and accidently pressed several times on the buy button. Each time it removed money which now is gone . Good game nevertheless.

Wow this game is absolutely amazing. I've been wanting to try learning programming for a long time now and this game provides that in a fun and interesting way. I played for four hours and 20 minutes with no breaks(up till array caverns). That is how great this game is. You are amazing, I thank you for teaching me so much, and I really really hope you completely make this game up till the point where the player will easily be able to program a good game themselves. So that way, a huge number of flash games will be made all because of your help. Thank you so much for this game/teaching tool :D Hopefully, I'll become a programmer when I get older, so this game really helped me out a lot. I'll be coming back until I finish the game up till the end.

Interesting thing to note on Part 1/9 Concatenation. At this point you've told us several times to be mindful of spaces but here, on lines 2 and 3, I think you forgot to put a space after "This looks like two strings" so the user would see 'This looks like two stringsbut it is actually one string!'
Do I get extra credit?

My screen say 9/27 enemies defeated even though I defeated all of them, both last update and on this update. Really should write a function and logic to check the wins on enemies and, if true, count them to our total or something. Oh, I guess I really did learn something. Also, at the end, the game took you 2 months at first because you needed functions and had a shop to program which (I can only guess) takes a while.

I tried to whisper you this; but I guess you're not on.
After completing the Conditonal Junction in Logic Land, it tells me that you're done with version 1.2 and to check your house for something. Upon going to my house, nothing is changed and under the "Version 1.0 complete?" it says Not yet. Is it supposed to do this, or am I missing something?

how can I know whether I am updated or not. What is in version 2 that isn't in version 1 or 1.2 that I can check for?
