screw the green week music, legit a unfair jump in difficulty, the other musics whihc are 3 stars are way easier and this one feels like its 4 or even 5 stars

Songs number 6 (Katy Bibi) and 11 (Leonie has lost...) seem to easy to be deserving of 3 stars compared to song 20 (Green Week). Songs 15 (Hachis Carpenter) and 10 ( David Beta) seem more deserving of a 3 star rating than songs 6 and 11 because of songs 15 and 10s staircasing and 15s triple jacks.

I'm horrible at these games, only way I managed to get the badge of the day is by spamming pause. Pause doesn't work in the last five seconds or so of the songs, so if you are as bad as me, you'll lose a heart there.

your webpage "losing focus" (disregarding inputs) is an issue with the advertisement banners refreshing on the kongregate webpage. has nothing to do with this game individually. It happens on every kongregate page you just don't notice it nearly as often when playing a game that utilizes mouse clicks.
if you know how you can open up the source code and delete the advertisements to stop the issue from happening. you have to do it on every page you load. its tedious but a workaround.

Tried different keys still kicks me out and glitches making the inputs disregarded. IDK why it does this, but this is in relation to earlier comment. I'm playing and the keys are jamming out to the tune but midway it is just like {Blank} you player i want to play my own way and kill all your efforts. You have to first notice then click manually to get the screen to reengage. Like maybe add something that auto pauses when the game is clicked outside the box. That would bring a reasonable solution to this problem.

You know i really have to say the game is interesting but the outside click when using the keypad arrows is impossible to get past 5 songs. Absolute trash in that regard, I do like the music but you have to fix that BS.

Even using P to pause doesn't seem to work for me any more, I think I am getting some sort of lag/de-sync that results in failure even though I am doing things correctly... no doubt it works for some but I imagine for most people it doesn't.

QSZD must be the weirdest button combinations ever. Why not just QWER or QWOP or ASDF or ASKL or ZXCV or ZXNM depending on which row of keys you want to use and if you want to play with one or two hands.

Some people are struggling with the easy BOTD. Meanwhile I wish the BOTD was the medium badge because both of them took me 5 minutes and I unlocked both at the same time after I died.

Crappy game, total inconsistent, easy badge should at least be medium, hit the right key some times losses life other time wrong key don't. 1 star to bad can't give 0 stars.

There doesn't seem to be any order to how hard the songs are. Try once and you may get a couple of easy songs in a row, try again and you get 154 notes to play at once???

For those struggling with the impossible badge, try screen cutting. Minimize the game screen so the the arrows at the bottom are visible, but the rest of the screen is not. By doing this, you are forced to focus on the arrows right as you are too hit them, instead of seeing them way ahead of time. This also makes the notes way easier to read, as there are less on the screen at a time. Good luck.

@GameTommy: This was just as hard as SCGMD2 if you ask me. I didn't struggle much with SCGMD2's Impossible badge, but Green Week in this game took me 2-3 hours of practice to get down. Granted, SCGMD3 is harder than this.

The song Green Week is waaaaay too hard. The rest seem doable to learn with practice, but that one has too many notes to process at once, too fast, to really do on a keyboard

@awpifnaeognapieg: You should have played 3 years ago when we still had Flash games as BotD and played one of the Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe games. THOSE were hard.

its like even if i try to match the mother effin keys at the bottom if its somehow even slightly not matching it misses......

Game is honestly too hard. Not sure if it's because of monitor speed or what. Too many button inputs at opposing places.

At least for those who aren't habitual rhythm gamers, this "lives" system is impossible to (re-)learn with. Example: there's a non-visible internal cooldown on losing lives, which makes it hard to get a feel for what's close enough and what's not. A player will think they've "recovered" while they're still too far ahead or behind, and then lose their next life without knowing why.

It's fun and I love pretty much anything rhythm but I just cannot play downscroll; I've been an upscroll player so many years that trying to play down gives me motion sickness.

Nice game, my only complaints are:
Distracting background;
Green Week being so much harder then anything else in the game.

The impossible badge is ridiculously easy compared to something like SCGMD, DJManiax, etc, let alone other impossible badges, which often take several hours, if not dozens. This is easily doable in under an hour, at least with previous experience. It would be easier if there were a setting for higher scroll speed, which would be appreciated. Good idea for a game though.

Love the concept of playing through a medley of short songs. This is as simple and forgiving as 4 key rhythm games get; the timing window is huge, there's no judgement system, and you even get some invincibility time if you miss a note. It's missing some simple features I'd expect from a modern rhythm game like custom controls and adjusting timing offset. None of the built-in key params are optimal for the vast majority of people, but XCVB is much easier to play with than arrow keys or WASD. Green Week is much harder than any of the other songs.
