It seems that force is too strong, while culture and vision are much slower to acquire. I have been investing less in force and force R&D but at 21 systems I have about 1000 times more force than the systems.

it would be good to make a purchase of the last structures and that not getting would automatically be bought
137B ma is limit or just visual bug?(in high scores)
It's probably a limit set by Kong? When we exit alpha and get new leader boards, I'll be changing it so that your high score is reported on a logarithmic scale or something like that which maps milliaxioms into the space they can track.

I think it'd be nice to be able to invest truths no only into wealth gains, but also into science, force, joy etc. I mean, if I get to learn how to increase my income by billions of times then by all accounts the same should be true of all other resources.

This game crashes and it crashes my entire PC. Only since the most recent update (and it's already cost me 20M active truth already, so I think I'll just pay attention for an update.

Steeper cost increase from footprint:land ratio. New resource "Orbits" & "Systems", Metal Moons to have cost in orbits and credits, Dyson Spheres cost in systems.

Pinning is used so that when you're buying more force, science, etc... you can see what you need to buy and improve to be to take over that system.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also.. I have no friggin clue what investments do. Don't get it at all. Do I have to have one pinned? Or do I just keep getting systems. What's the point of pinning
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Every new system I discover is already connected, so there's no reason for me to make an effort to increase trade and force. The numbers need to be tweaked so there is always a healthy mix of included, connected, occupied and known systems.

i feel like land is a stat you dont need to worry about because things just cost a bit more and its too expensive to build more of it considering how little you get back...rebalance it maybe? its ignoreable from what ive seen

Getting an autoclicker helps for those massive purchases. Just make sure that "Allow Partial" is not checked when doing so. Normally purchases it quite quickly, unless allow partial is on. Then it does it maybe 15% the speed. You can always reenable allow partial later on and manually do that one extra click.

shit, power failed in the middle of me trying to backup the game... and save was lost >.> oh well, was getting underwhelming anyways having to click thousands of times after a reset...

Changes to Google Chrome have made
Unity games unplayable within this browser.
Please Download Firefox to play:
HAHAHAHHAHA

Trying to play in FF on a 4K monitor, adjusting the tab text size does nothing to the ingame text and it's really, really tiny.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
next idea: limit max footprint to land size, stop allowing to build more buildings than space is available. increasing land would be necessary, especially for other systems able to include

Unity web player is obsolete now. Please follow the directions that unity are giving and target unity webgl for new games. There's little point releasing new web player games, they don't play.
As soon as their WebGL build is out of preview and I can get a build that actually works, I'll start exporting to WebGL and make that the version I release.

Personnel tab does right now. It was part of a new feature, but that feature had some unforeseen kinks to work out when it was implemented. They're trying to make it work right now.

Beeign plaing a few days. Nice job on the game! What is the land and footprint do? Also adding buttons for larger buys, 100k, 1 mil, etc would be great!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Still no Buy Max button? I would think every other update to this game should be put on hold for a few minutes to make one of those.

Well now with the new version the Investments-page flickers for me (MacOS)
It is better then with some other games but disturbing.

The greediness of the kings should not be an issue. Prices that have sums scale upwards exponentially can be calculated quickly with a simple formula: (n^(x+1) - 1)/(n-1), or its inverse log (x(n-1) +1)/log n +1
I'm unable to solve this problem in the near future. I'm going to put the equations up on the wiki and see if anyone can solve the recursive version into a non-recursive function. http://first-empire.wikia.com/wiki/Cost_as_a_Function_of_Land_Pressure_and_Investment_Count

Aaaaand land hasn't been fixed yet. The ONLY investment for land that's worth anything at all is the Dyson Sphere. And as of right now it's price is still somewhere in the "stupid" to "retarded" range. I have over 61k truth, I should be able to afford this. Yet, I see the price is still "500od qc", this really should be fixed. Those of us wishing to alleviate some of the new found (and apparently crippling) effects of the land issue will need this more accessible to lower incomes, since not all of us have multipliers in the billions.

One more thing, even so it doesn't really matter things Kings don't work to begin with:
You can't recall any of the Kings. They just switch to "satisfying dependencys" but are still assigned to the old investment.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's happening as well for me here. No matter how many times I've reloaded, I keep having my save lost, leaving me to restore my data from the back up. As well, the Kings aren't doing anything for me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Version 103 still seems to be broken. Loading the game will always end with the save being lost (I have an export but somehow the game is either unable to save it or load it, only import works).
Also, the Kings don't do anything, at all. Even when I have a King managing every single Investment in Wealth, no matter where I put an order, simply nothing happens.
And since loading doesn't work, there is currently really no point in it...

I just finished my email with a bug description for 101 and you just uploaded 102. i guess i dont need to send it after all :)
If you still have that email, I'd love the repro steps. I fixed the problem that someone has described clearly in 103 but someone else reported a problem with 103. Steps to see whatever problem still exists would help a lot.

As of 0.0.101 it seems Provost Kings either don't work at all or only if they can buy the exact specified amount, instead of working towards the set goal.
Kind of. They were too greedy so, if you had enough money, they spent all your CPU time trying to figure out how much they could buy and froze the game. I replaced their "extreme" greed with a more limited version. They still buy as early as they can but they will never buy more than 100 at a time.

Yep, Bought some personnel, and the next time i reloaded the game, everything was gone. I had a good time playing, but looks like I'm done for now. Oh well, I had a few billion truth anyway, and there wasn't anything new left to do. Hopefully the developer has learned from this but keeps experimenting, we should get a really interesting sequel.

I had the same problem as Shimura, but thankfully read his comment before refreshing the page. Bought a provost king and nothing happened. Refreshed the page and all progress is lost. I can still successfully import a backup, but now I can't recall my provost since he has to "satisfy dependencies"
