The button doesn't tell you how many you need, just that you need more. People have asked for a "buy dependencies" feature, which is on the backlog and would probably have helped with this, too.
Yes. Chrome doesn't support Unity and Unity's WebGL export is extremely expensive to get working and maintain so, until I can get to it, Chrome is off the table. I keep tinkering with the build to try and get a working WebGL game but, so far, no luck. Stay tuned. Eventually, I'll crack that nut.

When I try to buy my fifth Pleasure dome, it says "Not enough Core Science." Um... I'm not sure what this refers to exactly.
If you look at the summary page, there are two kinds of empire strength: Core and Total. The costs of various investments are taken out of your core strength. If buying an investment would take any part of your core strength below zero, then you are not allow to buy it.

w3r3r4bb1t: "It would be nice to have an 'Autobuy perquisites' feature. Thank you for the great game."
Developer response from HexagonGames:
"What if the 10x, 100x, etc., just didn't require you to have enough funds and bought either to the stop point or the maximum you can support (the lesser of the two)?"
Dear Devs,
This does not solve the problem. The pyramid scheme in the later parts of a given session is a major pain to deal with. Just spent 10 minutes trying to buy 1 level of "Local Group Trade Alliance." I'm not sure what purpose they pyramid scheme really serves in this sort of game. But I'm guessing bogging the players down in this sort of minutia was not it. The 'Auto Buy Perquisites' button is a very shiny idea.

So will I not get anything from a system till my trade and/or force tops theirs? And how exactly am I supposed to do this with my gha limits so low? I think we need a clearer tutorial. Thanks.
You get a science bonus for just knowing about a system, assuming you have science infrastructure. I'm guessing you don't yet. Land isn't a limit. It's a source of pressure. We build up all the time but it's more expensive than building out.

Could you make a way to view any resource anywhere? Maybe a hotkey that temporarily shows different screens? My specific complaint is about culture required to capture a system. There should be a better way to check the current culture in a system compared with the threshold culture to make it included without clicking back and forth.

So right off the bat, the boxes on the main screen are... difficult to read. I have exceptionally bad vision, so that's not too damning. But making the contrast better (basically make the boxes background darker) would be nice for me.
I'll endure for now and try to rate the game itself, but that's my initial observation.
Now that I've settled on a screen size, I can make things bigger. Higher contrast while retaining consistency with the theme might take some more thinking. Are the other screens working for you? At some point, I'm going to have multiple UIs so that, when you zoom, you'll get something bigger and higher contrast. That will happen when I'm targeting phones.

I've got to be honest, I expected a yubnub-level celebration about those checkboxes I added to the investments tab. I suppose I'll have to settle for reduced confusion. ;)
I hold out hope that the leaders have found a legitimate loophole. It is also possible that someone "cheated" in order to help me - thinking it would be easier to test certain features. Also, until I got the save problem worked out, it's kind of been a blur... it's possible that I gave them _way_ too much resources to compensate for loss. If there is cheating: Don't worry, I will find a way to police it and these leaderboards will soon be legacy leaderboards anyway (see my post on that).

Am I confused on how the buy10x is supposed to work?? I buy 10...the quntity goes up by 10 but the qc/s only raises the base of amount of the unit. i.e. Buy 10 Local Service Companies and I get 10 units but the qc/s only goes up by .001(total not per unit I paid for)
Most people who express confusion like this are getting tripped up by the fact that it buys up to the next round stop point. For instance, if you have 9 items and you use 10x, then it will only purchase 1 more item.

I do wish there was a chatroom, at least. It's hard to use the Lean Startup process when you can't even talk to your users. :)
More likely you *can* select the export code but I *cannot* figure out how to get the highlighting to work. Try just following the process in the tooltips regardless of visual cues (adjusting for your platform, if you're not on windows) and see what happens.

i noticed when you use the bulk purchase feature the cost goes up like it should but nothing else does such as the increase in wealth for the first upgrade, just wanted to point this out unless this was intended, thanks.

occupied = more force than a system = a small part of the systems wealth
connected = more force and trade than the systems trade = bigger part of systems wealth and added tradepower
included = more culture than the system = all stats added to your own
@benburn1: Did you get it? Step 1: Build wealth. Step 2: Build vision. Step 3: Discover systems. Step 4: Build force to occupy. Step 5: Build availability to connect. Step 6: Build joy and identity to include.

I'm sure I don't completely understand it, but the Prerequisite and the Land/Footprint system seems crazy expensive right now. To get 1 of one the highest wealth buildings you need 15k of the cheapest buildings. Those cheap ones alone require 3 gha of land. To buy 3 gha of land you're gonna be spending trillions. It would take all those buildings over 2 months to generate a trillion credits.

There's a line from Availability to Culture, but the tooltip doesn't state it contributes to Culture. Does Availability contribute to Culture or not? :P

Why prices of other things go up isn't intuitive at all and is kind of off-putting. I really don't want to play a game if I can't readily figure out why something I haven't bought increased in price after buying something else.

Really cool idler. I've been playing a few days now really enjoying it. Overall -> New font and sizing has made the game far better and more enjoyable.
The balance for the most part is pretty good (especially compared to other idlers), and allow for many days of playtime. I've discovered 9 systems so far (so nowhere near the endgame).
A few things I've noted - Culture drop-off rates which seem exponential make it mostly unviable. Wealth becomes a bottleneck, since later purchases require so many early purchases, and early purchases start costing more than future ones. The new science scaling is also a little difficult -> 10x cost multipliers for minor improvements make it so I just keep hoarding for the next set of science since the first time improvements will far outweigh any future incremental upgrades to the same sciences (that is often how science works in the real world though~)
Other than that, great game mate(s?) and looking forward to more!
Thanks for the feedback. On the topic of science, my plan is to create a lot more content in each field and a lot more fields. Science was /way/ too powerful before. I may have toned it down too much. **EDIT** I'm thinking I need to relax the dependencies. I don't want to get rid of them altogether but I could ease the pressure a lot without losing that aspect of the game. I need more data before I make my move, though.

i think u guys should vote this game 4 or 5 stars, so it moves to hot new games and more players join us, so far its fun and the developer will sure be happy, cool game :D

Been playing for a few days now
I love the complexity, but it gets hard to manage at times (jumping from page to page to find out what I can afford, research is the biggest problem area for that atm).
I also agree that it is slow to pick up speed, especially with nothing to boost progress by clicking or being active.
I look forward to seeing what all gets touched up with time.
I'm thinking about adding a "projects" feature, which lets you speed things up by clicking. I have to figure out how that's going to work before I do it, though.

I really like the changes you've made here. The size is good and the font is much easier to read. I have two suggestions. First, if I'm trying to purchase a Local Group Trade Alliance I first have to go back and get 14580 Local Service Companies, 2916 Regional Commodities Groups, etc. Would it be possible to implement an auto-buy for all prerequisites? Second, I hate having to go back to the main tab to see how many yb/s and zn/s I am earning. Could you add in columns for those at the top of the screen the way you have both Funds and Wealth, or combine Funds and Wealth into the same column and have the Funds, Observations, and Knowledge columns have two rows under them that show both your total value and earnings/sec.
Thanks for the great game. 5/5
I like the "earnings under the currency" idea. I'll definitely do that, soon.
I also like the auto-buy-up idea. It's on the backlog but I cannot promise when I'll get to that one.
For now. I'll get the WebGL game up and running when I have the time to do it right. It was so crashy, at the moment, and takes so long to upload, that it was an empty promise. If it's possible to get this game exported from Unity to WebGL, I will do it.

I think you should do something with joy and identity. Maybe joy and identity should give some bonuses. I want to say that culture system is annoying, it should be easier or more interesting.
VOTE HERE!
One thought I had was to make joy and identity have a greater effect on culture and wealth a much lesser effect. For trade, a balance of wealth and availability makes sense - although I still might weight them differently. For culture, wealth is inarguably less important than a sense of identity and people's general happiness. When I get it it, I'll announce it and maybe that will help.
It's unfathomable how such an innocuous comment got down-voted so far, so quickly. Eventually, I'm going to let people choose their GUI idiom and scale. I have to do that work to support phones and it looks like there is some kind of chance I'll need to support phones. It's on the list but there are a lot of things before it, right now.

The game is flashing weird background frames filled with letters or something every time a bar fills up, black boxes appear randomly, some of the letters get colored for one tenth of a second. Something is wrong, in such a way an epileptic seizure is lurking around the corner.

How many libraries must I build before your planet loves me?
Dangit, I'll just build more orbital bombers. THEN we'll see who want's to be part of my culture.
