Great game, really enjoyed playing, despite at times wanting to punch myself for being a dumbass and missing the most obvious things.

On the Credits screen, click the dev's name for the "curiosity" award and the soundtrack icon (upper right corner) for the "sound seeker" award.

nice game, just finished it.
However would be nice if I had a hint on how to get the other awards.
Noone made a list yet? :'O

The story is the most boring cliche thing I've seen from this sector, the whole game the guy screams at you for not going back, while there's NO GOING BACK. You're following the only possible line. "These rooms are not meant for you!" Come the hell on, this is simply pathetic. And the gameplay is just boring. You simply navigate your way around a bunch of cubic levels by shifting gravity. It offers no inventive; not only is the main gimmick something that has already been used more and more times, but that's it: every level is you, spikes (and buzzsaws, which are the same thing, both kill from all sides), buttons and doors. That's it. It gets really boring after a while. This game fails at everything Portal tried so hard to achieve with story, gameplay, graphics and inventive. It being "just a free flash game" doesn't take away from the fact that it's lazy in every single aspect. Work on your stuff more.
Hey, I'd rather release somewhat decent games along the way, rather than waiting to release games only once I've gotten much better. These kinds of things take practice, and this was my first time attempting a game or story of this scale.

you know what would be awsome? if after you complete the game and go back to level 8, you could enter that previously unreachable door and meet whoever the voice is.
I felt that the levels were reasonably short enough to not need them, since the beginning of the level is essentially a check point. There would also be issues like figuring out whether or not to save states of levers and doors, and what the restart button would do on the pause menu. :)

I agree 100% with @Duplete. This game is basically Shift with half of the mechanics missing and without the witty script. Not being able to rotate mid-air is a game killer.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fact that the game mechanics is so limiting that most levels have only one solution when you can literally defy gravity is disturbing. I should not have to jump that much to end a level in a game like this.

Kongregate normally downvotes any negative criticism on a good concept, but this is important to be said.
The way it is, this is just a bad Shift. The fact that you don't rotate around your own center makes the result unpredictable and the gameplay consequently awful. Also, the fact that you can't rotate midair is unnecessarily limiting and it would be far more enjoyable if you could. The way it is you are as limited to rooms creation as we are to moving around them, which is extremely bad design-wise.
Two great improvements: Make the player spin around its own center, so you don't miss a platform you are literally 90º from, and let people spin midair, for accessibility and regret possibility. (made a mistake, let me spin back oh no I can't and am dead)
Alright, thanks for taking the time to express your opinion on the game.
Not rotating around the player's center was a very early decision I made since I intended for the player to appear to "jump" before rotating, and it also helped keep the player lined up in a tile when done rotating. I suppose these aren't great reasons, but eventually it was too late to change.
I still feel that rotating in midair would be detrimental. If you could rotate simply whenever you want, levels wouldn't need a floor since you could likely rotate as many times as you wanted. If there was a limit, then how many? More than one would be hard to explain to the player, and having one isn't too different from what it is now. Also, the character is meant to be "jumping" up to do a rotation, although the animation doesn't show it well.
Overall, I just tried to make a decent game that went beyond my previous skills. I'll continue to improve in my future work. :)

Please allow user to set the rotate keys, or at least flip them. Q and E seem reversed from what I expect and I keep rotating the wrong way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
...and how many times did I rotate the wrong direction because I lost my orientation?
Perhaps if the W/R rotate tips were always on the screen (like in the corners), that would help. Otherwise, it's pretty cool.

It freezes at the end of the very first stage for me. Every time I hit the down arrow at the end everything freezes, but the audio keeps going. Anyone else? (Chrome)

this game has a cool concept but sometimes the movement wile switching is awkward but it is a cool game so I support the creators for that

I had a little trouble with the controls at first, but once I realized that pressing E, which is on the left, makes you fall to the left, and vice versa, it was all good. Very neat game. 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, played to the end. Only problem is that the controls are backwards. I used autohotkey to swap Q and E on my keyboard, and it felt much better that way. Might I suggest a setting that allows people to swap the keys?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
May I suggest a control change? Have a button, like space, that if you hold down and press q or e it shows you the new direction of gravity. Release space while still holding q or e and it takes you that way.
I feel like it's probably too late for a change like that. The idea with the current scheme was that when you press the key on one side ([Q] on the left, [E] on the right) you end up still facing that way.

Played through the whole game a few times and managed to get my time under 6 minutes :D couldn't figure out how to get the last 3 awards im missing though. (the bottom 3)

So you took some of the puzzle mechanic of SHIFT and added masochism in the mix to get this? Nice. Game looks easy, but is harder than meets the eye.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That was a fun experience. If nothing else, you got me interested in the setting you've begun to establish. Admittedly, I'm a little disappointed that there's no secret way to take the "correct" route on level 8. Would've been interesting to see the opposite spin (pun intended) on the apparent rivalry between the AI and the cat.

Heya! I like the game, obvious nods of inspiration to the Portal series and nice music and aesthetics. The game mechanics are interesting puzzles are mind bending. The in-game level editor is also nice. Overall a nice time!

nice brò , i have put 5 stars in your game, you can do with my game? https://www.kongregate.com/games/ithoangel/zombie-survival-virus

This is basically SHIFT with a (literal) twist. If you are looking for a game to fill the void the end of that series left, this might be your new go-to. I'm really looking forward to see more. Great game!

If it starts lagging, just refresh the page and the framerate will go back up for some reason. The game autosaves, so you won't lose any progress.
