game is pretty addictive until you get bored of doing the same thing, it should have a world map where you can place buildings down, click them and it will show the menu for that building. And then the portal to the other world somewhere on the edge of the map, im just guessing stuff that could be cool if you'd make it happen.

An army of pink unicorns descends from the sky! Followed by fiery ghost pirates! And then a barrage of dodgeballs! ...
Oh.

So, I complete the game, and expected some kind of bonus on my subsequent playthroughs. Nothing? Really? Dropped the ball there.

How is this an "idle"? The game pauses when we are attacked, instead, give us the option of just fighting without backup happening automatically. Otherwise ... not an automaticish game.

the only real grind is early game. after that just focus on eternal prison and personal residence as these two will boost all your production quickly thanks to the prison's show mercy scaling with followers

The only thing I would like for this game to have would be a 'pause when not playing' feature. Instead of nuking my progress each time I leave the page, just pause everything. I'm not even asking for an offline play mode. Just keep my progress and let ME decide if I start over.

How - exactly - is this an IDLE game? When you get attacked, the game does not progress until you fhusically click on one of the buttons?

if you win a attack you get attacked about every 10 secconds, doint you think thats a bit much? i mean that means the enemie gets full power every 10 secconds, and you lose more and more every time... rly bad programing XD

We know this game isn't new, but we're giving it a spot in Hot New Games anyway because of an email the developer sent us: "We are doing a study on automatic game balancing using my game, Nano Empire. We have some exciting early results suggesting that we can improve game engagement with an AI, but we need more data from players to confirm that this is working." So get to it, players -- generate that data!

Why would you have an enemy that gets stronger every time it defeats your defense, creating a loop where you just keep getting beat down by it?

would be nice if you could run away, having to fight every time when I have nothing is kind of crappy.. the idea of this game is good, but I have not enjoyed it.

I want to replay it and at the same time I do not. Starting over from scratch again and again is a little frustrating. I'd recommend the different endings giving you small permanent bonuses (start with a little production, resources additional rewards from combat...)

Cool game.
You can try all three endings (that I have found) without replaying the game.
After final screen DO NOT PRESS NEW WORLD BUTTON and refresh web page.
You will be thrown couple minutes backwards able to choose different final mission.

The concept was good, but execution could use a little work, for example: Enemies don't lose resources, if their attacked or when they attack, so you end up losing more then the enemy. Another one is that you have to manually collect things, in around 2+ clicks, so it gets trying after awhile.

constantly attacked by the same overpowering monster that keeps knocking me back down to near zeros and it attacks again before i even get back to where i lost from the first time

It's a great game though. Lots of neat elements that I haven't seen before. Also, if you have to have an ending in a game like this, it is really nice to see multiple endings for repeat playthroughs. That sort of thing really shows a dev who actually thinks about the players' experience in their game.

Calling this an idle game is quite a stretch. I find myself clicking constantly just trying to keep up with all my tasks and if you leave the game afk it will just pause a minute later when a bad guy attacks you. Time management is not the same thing as idle.

Why the reset at the end :L I tought the underworld was a harder difficulty so I never even got in there. well Good game but I will never know what I missed.

I love this game. I'm not sure if it is just the random assortment of buildings each play through or the increasing energy cost that makes you really plan out your advancement, but the game stays fresh after each reset. The one thing I would like to see is a reset bonus of some sort. Maybe a starting production bonus? Rare 5/5 from me, though.
