Very enjoyable game! It was fast paced and fun + colourful, the music also fitted in nicely to add to the action. 5/5~

Crap! I accidentally clicked outside the screen on a link, and lost my game. Ether war is amazing, but it needs a save system.

The only problem with the game is that it's visually cloudy. The many thousands of particles on a ships death or even just moving tend to mask enemy fire and make it nigh impossible to do much but fly around and shoot at the orbs. On the upside, it's a smooth, balanced game.

This game is so bad for your arm when you play on a trackpad. x_x Should've had an optional hotkey for shooting. Really fun game though, enjoyed it! nice and simple. Some things that would've been nice: 1. Shooting hotkey. 2. Health bar on Main Generator. 3. Make the cursor stand out more from the chaos of pixels.

I suppose this is one of those games you use to waste of time. Don't get me wrong, I loved this game. But I mean, there's no story behind it and that's just fine. Back to my point towards where this game's meaning isn't to accomplish something out of it, it's just to enjoy yourself and spend a quick time having fun. I would highly recommend this game as a 'Quick on&off'

A nice challenge. I enjoyed the fact that the base could survive while you attempted to fight the evil sun. I also liked that the enemy upgrades it's units as well. That is a nice twist in the game style. Once you get the the last few upgrades you can just dominate the opponents. All in all a good game in my opinion.

This game brings back so many nostalgic memories. It's a really great game if you understand it. The medium badge is ridiculously easy, don't stay near your base, go near theirs (but not in range of the suns until you have upgraded to at least shield + weapon level 3). 50% of the orbs that spawn will follow you, allowing your allies to keep your base alive. Keep clicking the mouse button down to autofire and just farm until you can upgrade. Hope this helps!

hardest 15 points i ever earned. but i enjoyed it. constant harrassment of the enemy swarm seemed to be the most effective method, by my experience at least. as for upgrades, get them ally upgrades so you don't lose the base while pissin off the baddies!!

really fun. For a sequel, I would love to see a "barracks" sort of upgrade. One that lets you upgrade your Allied Unit Spawner, and select which units you want it to spawn. Also, seperate weapon classes to choose from would be nice

What did i just play, I cant even explain what this game is, Stuff flying everywhere, Getting 100 kills when i dont even know if im shooting anything, Shiled dieing, Me dieing, Stuff flying all over the screen, Green orbs, Yellow balls, Spaceships everywhere.... My brain hurts more then any other game i have played, I cant even stand this long enough to try and get the badge of the day, Its not even worth it i quit.... This game needs a save function or something because i dont know what i just got myself into. Too much stuff on the screen, Other then those two issues i think if i knew what this game was it could be a success but as it is, 2/5.

Twitchy good fun - difficult, but that's not a bad thing. 4/5. http://gameolosophy.com/games/on-flash-games-56-ether-war/

Game would be much better if there was some way to not have to start from scratch each time you die. Perhaps start off with bonus ether based on how far you've gotten?

When I won, I had lost one cannon on the station. I found it very helpful to focus on improving the allied units early, they keep the excessive forces to a minimum.

I found that the easiest technique was to upgrade allies each time the enemy upgrades, gives you a chance to get more of the kills (and thus ether) with no risk of the base getting overrun

This was good. I thought there should be more reward for shooting the Yellow Orbiters - the time I worked on killing the little guys to earn enough to fully upgrade, I wound up being the only ship left and eventually lost. The time I started going after the yellow orbiters as soon as I could handle them, I won the game before I had nearly half the upgrades.
