So tips for lvl 15 if you are having trouble, its not hard since its fairly simply telegraphed. As each 1/4 of health drops it has a clone and speeds up, so dealing stead damage becomes a bit harder. the simplest way to attack is when its main is on either left or right, especially during the final phase. if you sit in a lower corner the shots from top and bottom dont reach, but the side attacks have a gap big enough in the middle to slip through. just take it slow, dodge the boss itself, and then just weave through the sideways attacks once they pass 2/3s across the screen. i beat it with lvl 5 damage, fire rate, and movement. it took me 3 tries, and once i learned its attack pattern it was simple
I think some players are trying to accomplish the achievement, with only the firing rate higher than 0, in this case all upgrades should be reset, and the firing rate you should use as much as possible. In this case it becomes impossible indeed. I'm already changing it right now, although I think I've lost some players with this boss, but I need to improve it. Thank you for your feedback.

Final comment. After spending at least an hour on the 15th level I give up. I grinded so that it doesn't one shot me and I even got good enough to find a dodge spot, but I just can't do multiple times. I don't know how you're expected to complete this boss. I even waited to trigger the fourth phase after it leaves the bottom and after it shoots so I get the most time to hit it without having to deal with all four, but I just can't live long enough to deal the damage.

So I just posted and after farming to up my health I can finally survive a hit on the fourth phase... unfortunately you only get one chance and that isn't enough with that many projectiles

Biggest problem I'm having is the damn level 15 boss. I get one tapped on the third/fourth phases and there's just no where to dodge! I can almost one cycle it to the fourth phase pretty regularly, but with lvl7 attack speed and lvl6 weapon I just can't do anything. If the bosses beyond this are harder there's no way this game is playable
I understand friend, I will work a little more on this boss, because he is what has given me the most problems since the beginning, I even thought of changing his entire mechanics, but I had other requests to be made. Sorry man.

Great, you implemented almos all the sugestions, but, the bug in the spitting siri is not fixed, just postponed, noe instead of freezing on 25% freezes when you damage 50% before it leaves the right position. Nice one with the enemy ships, now change them also in the achivements. The buying still feels way wrong. Yo can arrive to the brain lacking 2 weapons and 2 firerate, and that considering a LOT of farming levels. With 100k of gold to go, with less than 1k per minute with luck on farming levels, no thanks, no point on playing. Maybe another 5 leves to justify the time but even then the gold is not enought.

Do the extra bullets from powerups deal the same damage as my normal bullets? So, when I'm using weapon level 7 (1x 28 damage), at full powerup I'm dealing 6x 28 = 168 damage? And when I'm using weapon level 8 (2x 20 damage), at full powerup I'm dealing 7x 20 = 140 damage?
All new shots collected through powerup deal only 1 if you get one powerup, 2 and 3 consequently, damage. Shot 7 is only 1 out of 28, and shot 8 is two out of 20, hitting the 2 you deal 40 damage. :)

The bosses take too much damage, and become boring. I was stuck on spitting siri for a while, until I realized that it is incredibly easy to beat if you just sit in the immune spot just inside the lower left corner and only dart left to thwack it a few times each time it comes around. It was easy but took 15 minutes of boredom. Now I'm on the space fish, and it just takes to much thudding on it to make a difference. At least this one I don't have the option to walk away and come back in an hour to find it nearly dead, but tag, run, tag, run, etc. just isn't fun after a while. Especially with this one, that takes 4 minutes of hitting it before it gets interesting, then 4 minutes of tag, run, avoid, and you know that there is still 10 minutes more and one mistake means you have to start all over. Maybe I haven't invested enough in doing damage, but I am breezing through all the non-boss levels without any real risk, so I don't think so.
Unfortunately this f*cking "crab" was not very well programmed. I had no idea, I had to do what I could to create the 5 bosses, with the images I had. Sorry About the lives of bosses, I'm going to shrink a little.

Hmm after new update upgrading weapon from lvl 6 to 7 is a jump from 7 to 28 dmg. And if the tooltip is correct next upgrade will lower dmg to 20. Kinda guessing that isn't intentional :)
I had talked to some friends and players, and decided to take this option out, but on second thought, it is very bad to have a lot of money on the screen and not be able to collect. Then this option has been added again. Thanks for your comment.

Came back to try newest version and instead of level 20+ something I was lvl 45 :) Maybe levels come even a bit too easy now, but gold is still hard to get or prices are too high (final damage upgrade 80k+, didnt get it, too much grind). Last form of final boss was really unique and fun, bravo. Keep up good work!

Mission 17 is too boring. If ever you had an XP multiplier as an option you can up.
But after 20 minutes, still not out of level 12, so what the point of an action game if it becomes boring ?
Too bad, because other levels are well balanced enough.

As soon as I get the "Destroyer 5" achievement, the game hangs for me. I'm currently at 7499 meteorites destroyed, and now I can't destroy another. Boss fight levels still work okay. The other levels work okay as long as I don't shoot a meteorite, but that's quite limiting!
Hello, this is happening as there is a BUG as it hits an enemy in some part of the game. The game should crash, I'm seeing this right now, and will post a version as soon as possible. Thank you.

I like it, but I think levels and achievements should give you something...like a stat boost for levels and gold reward for achievements?

There's a really annoying tendency for the level to keep going after you've reached the goal, sometimes causing failure after you completed the objective. For instance, completing a timed mission with 1s left will still usually fail.

O jogo é legal, é bem feito (embora eu tenha conseguido bugar o boss 15 no canto e ele não conseguiu se mover nem criou as cópias) mas tem grind demais. DEMAIS. Não custava colocar diferentes tipos de níveis de dinheiro nas fases mais avançadas. Diminuir a curva de XP necessária pra subir de nível. Nesse momento, o jogo não é desafiador, só é chato em níveis mais altos. Desisti no lvl 17. Se uma fase como a 13 q tem q durar 3 minutos vivos, matando tudo, não me dá 1 nível por tentativa, esquece, não vou ficar 10, 15 minutos só grindando pra passar uma única fase.
Revendo essa curva de nível, o jogo ficaria bem mais divertido.

I found Siri to be the easiest boss to obtain the patience achievement from, as all you have to do is camp in one of the corners on the bottom of the screen and he'll be unable to harm you, where you can stay there and keep shooting until you win. Keep that in mind when you face him in stage 15 of the game.

Not bad, but not balanced yet money/ xp wise. Requires too much grinding without any reason behind it, just for grinding sake (for example - lv 14 requirement etc). New powerups didn't help much.
When he goes up and return with your copies, pay attention which is the correct boss, if you hit the boss not the copy, copies are destroyed and boss are stunned by they copies explosion...

While grinding money I was able to make the lvl 15 boss glitch and reproduce it at will.
It may be because I was able to remove the first quarter of it's life before his very first shot.
He then stays on the right side of the screen without even firing. When his clones join him on the right side, the behave just like the boss afterwards.

Annoying that you have to keep clicking the mouse button to turn on auto fire there should be a way to turn it on forever. You can grind the first mission and the rest of the missions but not the 2nd one? That right there seems a bit weird to me you enter mission 2 and it kicks you back out. Enemy ship can still kill you after you beat it. First time I killed it I flew up to collect all the rewards only to die. So you have to wait so long before you can collect all of the gold to end the mission.
Everything costs 50 coins first upgrade except for weapons which costs twice as much.
I farmed 3 till I had good rate of fire and upgraded weapon pretty good and also upgraded the magnet 4 times to help with gold farming. Now I'm farming battle 5 farming good chunks of gold without having to do long battles to get it.

There is a BUG in the spitting Siri, if you kill the first 25% before it moves from the first left position, it gets stuck.
Really bad info, where is the Help screen? It should be a description of each Power Up/Down.
A"Back to menu" in the Pause screen?
It is weird that the "enemy ships" look like Finn the human from adventure time. Could you make them look more like space ships?
Also weird that the "live" slime is not lively at all, Maybe some animation?
If you have time, maybe change the sprites of the weapons when upgraded.
Thanks for the feedback. The illustration are from a free site, The graphics are not as lively as they are available for free, so I had to do what I could with what I had. The graphics are made available by Pixel-Boy on gamedevmarket. Sorry for the lack of animation in sprites. In the third boss, there is really a programming error. I'll still check it out.

After last update game is freezing after i destroy one enemy.
I try 4 times to reload and start play on level 23 and 24.
Otherwise very good game, but need something more in gameplay. Maybe some additional upgrade when you level up. for me 4/5
Hi TheLowerKnight, This item aims to disrupt the player, wasting time and money. Avoid touching this item "D". It's like arkanoid, where there are items that shrink your paddle, disrupting the player's gameplay.

There was an update lik a minutes ago. It simply bumped gained exp x2. For level 14 I needed to farm for levels 12-13, total 135600 exp, I'm gaining ~5k exp per minute, so only half an hour of farming to unlock stage 18...

I just farmed stage 17 for 9min 15s, got 23880exp, so it's ~2500 exp per minute. Getting level 13 will require farming for 23 minutes. Do you even tested it? Or at least counted?

I'm on stage 17. I have 12lvl, and I need to get 14lvl. Destroying ship gives me 24xp, red meteorite ~16xp. I currently have 11439xp, for next level I need 56200. So I need to kill only 2500 things to get to next level. Are you sure with leveling balance?

The fact that you reduced the "lv locks" helped on the early 3 sets of stages, but its still a problem on stage 17. I found out that the Survive stages are a much better option to farm exp than the "lock stages". But, even using then I would still takes like 30 minutes to reach level 14 from level 11 (it would take like 1 hour and a half farming on stage 17!!!). I see 2 options here: 1) Multiple all exp that enemies give on each set of stages. I guess that an 4x-5x exp multipler would make the game much more viable. 2) Make the bosses give exp too. I actually farmed a lot of gold on ship and slime bosses, but sadly they don't give any exp.
Thanks Nightmare728, now all enemy ship give you ((5 x YOUR LEVEL) + actual mission) ie.:(5 x 3)+3=18 exp; All the bosses now gives u (180 x actual mission), ie.: 180 x 5 = 900, 180 * 10 = 1800, etc.

Sorry, but this type of mission does not exist. There is an auto fire option where you don't have to hold down the button to shoot. If you are playing the keyboard you can enable with the left mouse click, if you are playing the mouse you can enable with the spacebar.

Stoped playing the game at stage 12, at least for a while. I don't get it why this game have a leveling system, since its only purpose is to lock stages. I think that the game would be a lot better if you removed the leveling stuff and we only 20 stages instead of 25. Oh, and you should edit the "Patience" achievments description, its kind of confuse right now. It would be better someting like "Complete level X with all upgrades on level 0, excluding Fire Rate"
Perfect observation on achievement description. I'll change it now! The level I set to have a ranking base among the players, and also to have some more mission. In the beginning it would buy better weapons. I promise to have more creativity next time. Thanks.
