I came here expecting something similar to the Submachine series.
I got the graphics.
I did not, however, get the ability to flush the toilet.
Sad.

Really, did nobody else notice her agent number? I thought the comments would be full of people saying something about it.

Well, this taught me I probably shouldn't become a spy. My first impulse was to call the intercom and then sneak into the bathroom and steal all the soap.

Hey, thanks a lot! Really like the historical era. Only thing that got me was the matches and didn't catch onto the clock in the painting. But great job. Right amount of difficulty. Thorough and a pleasure to play.

The places that neither give you hints nor items:
-The bathroom
-The burner room
-Either statue
-The hallway to the basement (of course, you still have to use it)
-Tiny portrait of the house in the stairwell
-The two windows and weather gauge in the upstairs landing
-The room with the screw, 6 outlets, and what looks like a trap door
Like if this helped you.^ Wish I hadn't wasted my time clicking everything in these places.

you know, out of all the things that I couldn't pick up, the thing that bugged me the most was the screw...although the thick wad of money was a close second
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lol ...when the beginning that thing ( dunno wad that ) ringing i thought it was still on movie intro so i let it ring for 10min and waitfor her to answer -.-

Oooooh, lookie here a shovel! Darn! Can't pick it up! *Later* Hey! Let's see where these stairs lead! Dark spooky room, Oh my! Now where is that shovel so i can kill that inconspicuous hissing noise! Oh...right...FLEE

This is a very cool game.
The background music is an awesome choice awesome and the ambient sound effects create a nice atmosphere.

man, she would be completely f'd if it weren't for those materials lying around. Seriously, aren't spies supposed to come prepared? she didn't even bring a lockpick.

It's be nice if you could add something to notify me when i could perform an action while holding an object, much like the mouse turning into a hand whenever there is something to click on.

Spy's inner dialogue: "Should I pick up that money in that drawer there? I could use some dough of my own." "Money? I don't need that. It's too green and I'm a spy. What do spies need with money?" "But what about that treasure che-" "Forget it!" "Can we at least pick up that gun we found in the room? What if we run into someone bad?" "Ew! No! It's near some blood. Blood is icky." "Whatever. I'm a loser."

Jeeze, that's it? It just ends? I know it's to be continued but the way it ended just... doesn't make much sense to me. It seems to just end in the middle of nothing much going on.

Can you include clickable items that may further the story but may not lead anywhere...I like it when a game leaves me guessing...also perhaps multiple ways to complete a level.

banzai99, this is why the creator of the game specifically said that this is an alternate history version of world war I. Please, look before you leap.
Anyways, I quite like where the story is headed. But I do agree with Mokuren, that some of the elements required to progress is far too small and barely noticeable.
Nonetheless, it is an extremely challenging game and takes plenty of patience and some actual thinking. 4/5

It wasn't bad, but the ice pick part made me rage. I had to check the walkthrough only to know there WAS an item that I could click. It's just too thin and too confused with the background, that actually progressing past that point is a sheer matter of luck and pixel hunting. The rest was good, though, so 4/5.
