If you have played the other submachine games this is the easiest one yet... was a little dissappointed in this - but still Yay Submachine. Annoyance is i can't find all the secrets :(... still working on it though! = and yes i was one of the people who played Myst with a pencil and paper!

Damn, beat it with all 5 secrets, and then the minute I go into the secret room, the first thing I press brings me back to the main menu. I'm not doing that all over again....
Very good game, hardest yet.

okay, for anyone who gets stuck with the first cipher key, you put it into the TOP, it confused me too until i googled for another walkthrough.

´wolfan i thought that was a bug at first, but if u look real close u can see it's a 4(if u can't see the 4 use the magnyfing glass

Very nice, been waiting for another Submachine, only just spotted it now. Noticed a little bug; the corridor is 747 but your autonotes record it at 717,eventhough the note that mentions it says 747 Very nice game, 5/5

@Melanie:
C6H8O7 is Citric Acid. H20 is obvoius.
Mixing Citric Acid with water would only create a weekend solution. Citric acid is already a weak organic acid (used as a preservative in carbonated drinks), so I'm not sure how it'd dissolve steel. But nevermind that, fun game. Damn the observation room and spikes though, wasted so much time for nothing.

If anyone would care to whisper to me, I'd be grateful- what do I need to do to open the panel I presume I need to open to use Cipher Plate 1? The walkthrough doesn't give any info on it.

Very awesome, as always. I had to use a walkthrough again, though X(. Anyways, to overcome my guilt, I will try to find all the secrets by myself, and hopefully I get there someday. lol.

"Having trouble finding all the secrets. The “secret room” suggests there are 6 cipher keys in all – has anyone found more than 2?
What is C6H8O7 x H2O for?
Another great game by the way!"
C6H8O7 is acetate, I think, and H2O is water if that helps.

This one got a bit too much into the pixel hunting. The electric plug, and especially the item behind the pipe, I needed a walkthrough for. Still a great series.

I have an issue, the part where I'm suppose to put in the three symbols code, was never written in the notes, I tried to follow the guide to see what I did wrong and the room that I followed didn't do what the guide said it would do.

Thanks for the game and the series. I like the style of point and click action/escape games and this one is really well made. I enjoyed all the animation and beautiful art.

To everyone who thinks this game is repetitive, boring, too hard, and/or stupid, the Action games are over there. This is the PUZZLE section.
5'd for general awesomeness including art and ambiance, and for making so many people's brains implode.

It's a lot of fun. I only found 3 of the 5 secrets. Also, after I finished the game, I put a key in the second slot in the machine and then went to the secret room. The keys disappeared in the 2nd slot but not is the 1st slot. I couldn't re-find them where I was looking for them. It might be a bug, but only if you are going back after you have beat the game. 5/5

This series never ceases to amaze me. I'm not a big fan of point and click games, but the submachine games are probably my favorite flash games. As always, I'm left wanting (to know) more.

Simply amazing.
The logic is insane, but not insane enough that it's impossible or makes no sense, it's very possible ;P.
I haven't really gotten into this episode yet, but I will do soon, I know it's as eerie and psycotic as the previous 4 ;D!
Awesome job, keep it up!

the nois when changing screens put to my nerves after a while. no need to make a sound at this, i can see when the screen changes :-) (and i needed to change it often)

Easier and seems shorter than the others, though perhaps that's just because I spent less time ripping my hair out. Another great game in a long tradition of good point & click adventures.
