Chapter 6 is too difficult to be fun. You have to have prior knowledge of what skills are needed in the chapter and customize your entire company around it, and then you have to replay every turn over and over if you want to stand any chance.
Also, why is there a chance of missing and varied damage if you can quick save and quick load until you get a good hit? It just makes the game take a lot longer if you want to do well.
This game series is great but could benefit a lot from a reduction of RNG.

Tevoran sure doesn't hesitate to slash through his underlings when the enemy on the other side of that underling just attacked him :)

When your build is so brutal that you killed all the enemy on the survive 10 turns battle 3 turns before time is up....

I initially really loved this game. I changed my mind, however, when I realized that you really have to be highly inquisitive and truly determined to figure out how to win the battles. It just gets progressively more ridiculous towards. The walkthroughs are helpful, otherwise battles just take too long to try to figure the secret enchantments required. The game is an excellent effort but I suspect it's only accessible to hardcore aficionados.

Try to get as many items as you can in the last game, it will help you out, in the beginning, a lot since you don't have the whole squad.

the game is great except the final battle. If you didnt get healing items you are f*cked. And you cant buy them before. So your only hope at this point is restarting turns over and over again and hope for god RNG. The game could have been way better if not stupid difficulty

Great game, addictive... but is it just me or is the Duriken level suddenly and spectacularly more difficult than all the previous ones?

I wish I had a script of all Vadim's dialogue. His words burn luminously in my brain like a thousand syphilitic bedbugs!

SPOILERS!!!!
For all you guys getting angry at Vadim's death, he may come back in Chapter 4. The end of Chapter 3 implies that Aizu ate him after he died, and his spirit is in her intestines (To prove this, He finds Bernard's ear in there, which Aizu ate.

@Inunda
The way I got through that fight I focused on killing the spiders as they do not respawn and they're pretty vicious in the first place. Make sure you don't bunch up your units for the mushrooms to poof on ya and you can also make use of the mushroom deaths by exploding it on the enemies. The slimes are the least of your worries so basically focus on killing the mushrooms and spiders first. The rest depends on using whatever strategy you use to survive.

I can't believe Vadim is dead, and so unnecessary, he fell off the hellcart?! Dammit Vadim Was my favorite character, now no other character in the game has the ability to throw knives.

I can't actually tell if the pulsing on the title screen is supposed to be the soundtrack's symbol or Vadim's brain getting electricity for the first time.

Okay, so am I the only person struggling with the goddamnj underground poison garden section? The second fight has proven to be a straight-up wall. I mean come on! Most enemies inflict status effects AND the slimes keep spawning? What am I doing wrong?

Completed Chapter 2 and it will not make a save game file for me to upload to Ch3. only have the Ch1 file saved no matter how many times i reattempt it.

what i find very funny is that during the city siege stage, they are trying to stop the looting but they are looting themselves.

Well. Seemed like a good series. Was going to play part three, but my savegame for part 2 just disappeared. Not starting over. Oh well.

Really like the game and story though although it is getting bloody crazy. Just a lot of new stuff without closing up on older stuff.

where is the maze in stairs (pun intended)? Could you give us different difficulty modes? because I presume the bad ratings are from non-strategy gamers. It would be fun to just crush enemies without worrying about their damage
